Nice to see you can make a great video about fishing without catching. It’s about the time outdoors. Looking forward to more adventures! Thanks Jordan!
Sean your photography is a work of art! I watch ADX fishing and Stay Fishy with my husband. It's all good 👍 But your presentation of the adventures and their context keeps this non- fisher person following enthusiastically 😁
Greetings from Buffalo Ny. Waiting for this damn blizzard to stop so I can get back to winter Lake Erie Steelhead fishing!! Stay warm and Bobber Down!!
I'm looking for number 26 on the year once the river settles back into shape. It was a hot start but it slowed down the last couple weeks. Keep making the awesome videos fellas 👏👌
Throwing this out for consideration is hook setting tactic on bobber fishing is to reel down 1st taking up as much slack as possible then reefing back to set the hook has a higher % success than just reefing 1st has been my conclusion from experience. I've done this on multiple species from Crappie up to Silvers and Kings with herring under float. Also wonder whatever happened to Pen-Tac spinner components as the last I heard they went to Redding California over a decade ago ?
Humble pie with a side of fries.....true fisherman........takes it with a grain of salt and dreams of Chile on the side..Epic! Gonna start my steelhead adventure here in Eugene soon---thankyou for the tips.....kinda trippin on how I hold the bead up from hook ? 2 beads wrapped on each side? Im such an ocean fisherman--all new to me---ugh....
caught my first winter steelhead for this year on the coldest day of the year so far here on the great lakes. -15 celcius, me and a buddy got 10 fish that day. once the water warmed up it was almost every cast in the last pool
Crazy thing about beavers, they actually chew the big trees to flood those grass lands because they know that will cause the grass lands to sprout small saplings and that is their main food source. Much more nutrients in the green sapling type trees than the big woody ones.
Great explanation 👌 so useful 👍 please please keep that part of your adventures. I'm an older gentleman, so I need all the info you can provide. In fact, that's the one is one feature that sets you apart from others 😉
"First I need a house"....and you need to catch a fish before you can taxidermy it. 🤣 I don't know how many times I went home without catching a steelhead, but it's just nice to get out and enjoy nature!
I know you groove on those burgers from the Shell station at exit 49. Also watched an Addicted video where you said cod was your favorite fish for flavor. So, have you tried the cod fish sandwich at Peper's 49er? It is NOT to be missed and is a great consolation prize when you don't get your steelie - which is often the case with me. 🙄
Caught my very first fish winter chrome steelhead right out of the ocean right before Christmas:) addicted to say the least p.s caught a coho same spot 5 min later and haven’t caught a fish since lol
Well I buy just about every lure of yours I can find locally sense I live Michigan every time I go fishing. Sometimes I just walk up to the river and throw them in the water not tied hoping it will appease the river gods to let me keep some lures. I’m sure I have bought a few boards for your home. Lol
The spot you were fishing in in the first five minutes was my grandpa’s backyard yard! (The Johnson’s) Let me know the next time you go out there, so I can join!
Does this set up out perform the silver on silver #4-5 or 3 for that matter spinner called winter standard in Jed Davis' book on spinner fishing and making ?
Great video .. I am buying those worms if they work you will see a video of it on the st Mary’s river .. I think they would fish well in that massive river let me know what you think? Check out my steel head videos outa st Mary’s river GIANT steel head big water fish outa Lake Huron I think alot of your tackle would work ther I’m Gona need help putting together a package to try out if you got the time .. Peace out thanks for the great entertainment..

Ohyah got my first steely on e Grand rhonde on a addicted 4 Inch captain America cause they have never seen one and the only fish that was caught that day was on that worm and my hard core steelhead bro were what the hell are you using 😂 changed there lives man your welcome!!! And what's even crazier is dad and a few other people 40 years plus ago created all the jig and bobber fishing on the Clearwater.. There a try for you Jordan they used to use bass worm hooks pinch split shot on the head and pipe cleaners for the body color the pipe cleaners with whatever they had try that one with an old school red and white fixed Bob enjoy.. I've been making my own jigs and tying them since I was fifteen years old a guy named Jimmy Dodge on the Clearwater lived in asahka on the north fork. got me started on it and my pops ruined me forever man.. my dad has since passed and half my childhood memories are in that River with alot of other older gentleman that have passed if you fish there banks if the Clearwater you will find little memorials of those cowboys if the river here and there if you no the secrets spots I have since lots my dad the fishing warrior he was I've been meaning to go down and place one for him on our favorite fishing spot but since COVID and all that stuff been playing catch up.. But if your ever on the Clearwater give a little shout out to my pops cause I'm sure he's there man swimming with those steel head man.. Good fishing and all the luck...

I have never caught a steelhead, went a few times with people I knew, now I don't know anyone that knows where to fish or what can be used, so I don't go, to many rules here in WA. to not know what your doin, or where to go
Hey, can you talk about using the standard clinch knot over the improved version? I see Jordan and Marlin mainly use the standard version, and I'm very interested in terms of strength. It seems like the standard clinch sets better imo.
Just caught my first winter steelhead on Christmas Eve. Talk about an adrenaline rush!!! I’m addicted for life now😁😁😁
everybody seems to struggle on that first winter fish.............. cast and cast again, dry lines catch no fish...............
Nice to see you can make a great video about fishing without catching. It’s about the time outdoors. Looking forward to more adventures! Thanks Jordan!

I'm looking for number 26 on the year once the river settles back into shape. It was a hot start but it slowed down the last couple weeks. Keep making the awesome videos fellas 👏👌

Great video and reactions as usual. Always gotta end with the CR shell burger
Can’t wait for the movie ❤
Crazy thing about beavers, they actually chew the big trees to flood those grass lands because they know that will cause the grass lands to sprout small saplings and that is their main food source. Much more nutrients in the green sapling type trees than the big woody ones.
Do you think they cognitively understand that or are operating from an instinctual impulse?
Great advise on the rubber worm and spinners
Great video, need a good one on reading water, ie what makes worm water, or spinner, or bead water
Beavers make great elk habitat too
Great explanation 👌 so useful 👍 please please keep that part of your adventures. I'm an older gentleman, so I need all the info you can provide. In fact, that's the one is one feature that sets you apart from others 😉

When it's cold like it has been I use Spoons, they will move fish when nothing else will. :)
My river is so blown out right now! Time to service reals, sharpen hooks and get ready for the river to come back down into shape
Still trying for my first steelhead.
Cherry chap stick works just as well as winter chrome blend if you don't have winter chrome blend yet

I guess the fish were not cooperating, but least the view was spectacular. Better luck next time Jordan.
Got 13 chromers so far this winter, waiting for this weekend to hopefully fish 4 different rivers in 2 states, river flows permitting.
Do you ever fish Wacky Rig style with the worms. ? I get more hook sets that way rather than threading through the top.
Well I buy just about every lure of yours I can find locally sense I live Michigan every time I go fishing. Sometimes I just walk up to the river and throw them in the water not tied hoping it will appease the river gods to let me keep some lures. I’m sure I have bought a few boards for your home. Lol
Me too brotha me too. The housing market is ridiculous right now

Well done video I've been known the cast of thousand times for one fish
The spot you were fishing in in the first five minutes was my grandpa’s backyard yard! (The Johnson’s) Let me know the next time you go out there, so I can join!

I have never caught a steelhead, went a few times with people I knew, now I don't know anyone that knows where to fish or what can be used, so I don't go, to many rules here in WA. to not know what your doin, or where to go
I would love to buy a Box of Kaniggy's jiggy's
Hey brother. I own a local mortgage company out of Portland area. Let me help you put a plan in place to buy your home!
It’s the season for upkeep I think that’s why people are always using chainsaws and such
Hey, can you talk about using the standard clinch knot over the improved version? I see Jordan and Marlin mainly use the standard version, and I'm very interested in terms of strength. It seems like the standard clinch sets better imo.
Standard all the way.
But in my area I’m not allowed or use stink 😢
First
Steelhead 1, Jordan 0. Stay tuned.
