The races where real but not the cars
I think you could say about just about previous era of DTM tbh.
Even Maro Engel took part in this series way before he found his footing in GT Racing later on. He came a long way

Much as I like the nostalgia for it, you can already tell the struggles back then. Only Audi and Merc present. Sure, BMW just returned, but still - that's it. No wonder everything collapsed the moment those manufacturers didn't want to play anymore.

The real DTM
This is what I always thought the DTM was. I like it now too, but this looks much more authentic racing. Only if there were more manufacturers that season, but that was crisis time after all.

What an take back into past, Tomscyk becoming the champ after tough fight with Mercedes Shining star Spengler, unforgettable year, so many great actions incredible
2 years later nobody expected that Rocky wins the title in that same livery as Tomscyk in 2011, Oschersleben becomes an downforce splitter & flicks eliminated track, Disappointing Spengler has to deal with it! ❤️🥹🏁🥳🍾🏆🤩🫶
