Not the case for modern laptops, they have a better battery management system to handle charging and discharging. Especially Apply M Laptops which have ARM architecture so they operate like phones and manage battery better?
Well desktop eat laptop in everything : performance, ... like the video says But if you have to travel and can't stay only on a fix place (rip for those who need to MOVE a lot and ALSO need a high PERFORMANCE pc) The laptop make a huge come back on desktop just because it is portable and it doesn't need a lot of place and can be adapted everywhere. I always hear people say that laptops are expensive compared to desktops but they always compare laptop to only the hardware instead of the complete setup including monitor, keyboard etc. So isn't laptop actually cheaper?
In regard to windows laptops, some do not have upgradable ram or storage. As far as I am aware, there is one laptop where you can “upgrade” the cpu and gpu. The framework 16. It allows you to change out the motherboard for a different model later, but comes with a cpu. Installed. It also supports a slottable graphics module if you wish. The framework 13 in does not have this slottable graphics module, but the motherboard can be swapped for a newer one. Both these frameworks support upgradable storage and ram, and also have the unique feature of changeable ports. So you can add things like hdmi, storage expansion, Ethernet, etc.
Basically buy a PC for all your intensive work and buy a used laptop for cheap to do less demanding tasks if you really NEED the portability of a laptop

I regret buying my gaming laptop. Trying to keep this thing from overheating is an absolute pain. I had to get an expensive cooling and underclock it, and it still overheats. Like what's the point of all that power if I can't use it?
I started researching this topic because I'm seriously considering switching from gaming on a desktop to gaming on laptop. My hope is that with the recent dlss and frame generation I can still achieve high frame rates in games that I play. I do not play competitive and price is not really a problem. The main reason why Im looking into this is space. My tower is big and I live in a small appartment. I would still keep the periferals as they are high quality. Also the laptop would stay in the same place for the most part, but again. Im favouring space more. I would have an external cooling base for the laptop too. I also live ina very cold place. Maybe in a laptop you have to go for a bit of overkill to be safe. I would go maybe for a 4090 laptop to game in 1440p. My maing concern is longevity. How long will I be able to keep a laptop setup. If I need to replace every 2/3 years it does not make sense. I want to keep it at least for 5 years. This is where I think there might be changes with recent improvements. Frame generation should extend the time you can use a laptop and it should only get better from here.

Right now as a student,laptop is just too good for me .However ,once i'll be adult and working then i am definitely going to have desktop for power use
Well? Most people that get laptops are people that are stereotyped as sporty and social, or some sort of student and office worker. Most laptop owners are also stereotyped to be going to the beach and coffee places along with listening to music and watching movies on those laptops. Gaming Laptops are basically in their own league of tech savvy people. The only "upgrading" in laptops is basically getting a newer and more current model, no matter what type of laptop it is. That's even true for the basic fifteen-inch ones.
Your videos have been beyond helpful, thank you so much! Would it be possible to share your insights about tablets? Sending you much appreciation from Spain ✨️💫

In near future, 2027, gaming laptops will look like a ultrabook laptop: - Adaptive refresh (24hz - 120hz) rate for non gaming activities, boosting battery life up to 65% - AI will double fps effortlessly: 60fps -> 120fps - Solid State Battery instead of Lithium Ion Battery: * 2.5X density: 70Whr -> 175Whr * 5X charging speed: 110 min -> 22min * higher durability and lifespan - More efficient cooling and components *IGPUs are getting good, in 2027, AAA games on Ultra at 1200p 120fps (with AI cloning fps) at 20W * 1200p for a 14" and 16" laptop is more than enough, both of them have higher pixel density than a 1440p 24" monitor * those laptops will come with 3840 x 2400 (for video editing), at 1920 x 1200 4 pixels will become 1 pixel, the display will be clean!
instead of worrying about loud fans on a laptop get a m1 macbook air which does not have any fans! The only compromise is it will hit 100 degrees Celsuis (Boiling point of water) with any simple game open. But its an apple product. Plus you cant expect to get fans for 800$
Here's my opinion. If your traveling or always moving somewhere then get a laptop. If your into gaming and have a budget then get a laptop but if you have a high budget then get a desktop. If your designing or animating then both are good but if you need good graphics and good color then choose desktop. If your on a budget then get a laptop and if you have a lot of money on your budget then get a desktop unless you care about portability.

Good information very simple to understand.👍👍👍
@TheMysteriousTech very good video! Video topic suggestions - recent AI processors.
Can you do video about Mouse / keyboards ? You give amazing info in A simple way, i love it ❤
which cooling pads are good for laptops

Your videos have been beyond helpful, thank you so much! Would it be possible to share your insights about tablets? Sending you much appreciation from Spain ✨️💫
You have fantastic, high quality informative content! I play roms on my machine, laptops are fine for me personally and I enjoy that they can be traveled with, of course. Can you do a video about tablets?
Bro your taking about the top of high-end,
Nobody plays Valorant on 360hz at home, i don’t think are pro gamers here, and we are not building 3000 desktop pc
I’m sure my laptop is better than 75% of the people are watching this
What about Operating system like Linux, what would your choice be based on accessibility to hardware and software, apps etc via the OS?
🇰🇪from Kenya great info
In near future, 2027, gaming laptops will look like a ultrabook laptop:
- Adaptive refresh (24hz - 120hz) rate for non gaming activities, boosting battery life up to 65%
- AI will double fps effortlessly: 60fps -> 120fps
- Solid State Battery instead of Lithium Ion Battery:
* 2.5X density: 70Whr -> 175Whr
* 5X charging speed: 110 min -> 22min
* higher durability and lifespan
- More efficient cooling and components
*IGPUs are getting good, in 2027, AAA games on Ultra at 1200p 120fps (with AI cloning fps) at 20W
* 1200p for a 14" and 16" laptop is more than enough, both of them have higher pixel density than a 1440p 24" monitor
* those laptops will come with 3840 x 2400 (for video editing), at 1920 x 1200 4 pixels will become 1 pixel, the display will be clean!
Nobody cares lol
Interesting

is a desktop good for sims 4? also do i have to buy a whole computer and a desktop?
Gaming pc vs console plz 🙏
Damn 360fps in a game is wild. Do people really need that about of fps.
instead of worrying about loud fans on a laptop get a m1 macbook air which does not have any fans! The only compromise is it will hit 100 degrees Celsuis (Boiling point of water) with any simple game open. But its an apple product. Plus you cant expect to get fans for 800$
love it, thanks man 🤗
Here's my opinion.
I want to start developing games ...it would be beautiful to make a video about how to start and what is needed
