My first visit to Stratford was in 1982 when I was 14, and I loved the city right away! I always make time to return and visit every year.

yep we got all these people coming from Toronto and buying houses, and they think that everything should be like Toronto is, as a resident of Stratford born here in 1959 go away we don't need your bullshit, thank you for checking us out for a beautiful city but now we have go transit and drug dealers and a homeless problem, and by the way Stratford was not built on the theater, don't get me wrong I enjoy the theater bringing money into the city, but if it wasn't for the railway Stratford would be nothing but a backwoods Village, people forget their heritage, railroad building not the theater, you want to come to our city and change things, don't bother you can come and visit but don't bring your bullshit with you thank you, in my neighborhood I've had people from Toronto moving in and the first thing they do is start whining that it isn't like Toronto or wherever, you don't like it every road that travels in the Stratford, well guess what it leads back out, don't like it go away, you want to fit in you're more than welcome
