My family came from this place. Both of William's grandmothers were sisters and Webb's , daughters of Sir John Alexander Webb. I wonder if any of my ancestors still live here.
for the past 14 min I think I was the one who travelled these places.. thanks for making this video.. I was soooo delighted to see this video.. hope u have a good time there.. hi from INDIA..
Beautiful.....!!!! I would like to visit it ....!!! Thanks for your descriptions and comments....I've learnt new facts about this famous play writer and his hometown..from Chile with love.....!!!!!
Who could wish for a more delightful presenter. I love to learn even though I'm long long out of school. Thank you for your hard work and just be happy. 🖖
Today i went on the open top bus in stratford, we had headphones to listen to a documentary about william shakespear, we went to 11 places about william! Its brilliant. Definitely recommend going.
Thanks for this magical tour. At 10:09 you say that Shakespeare died in 1666. That would have made him 102 years old. I think you meant to say 1616 which you did say earlier. My favourite School trip by far was our school trip to Stratford-upon-Avon. It was a Summer's day back in 1979/1980. We had a picnic next to the River Avon and, later that afternoon, took in a Shakespeare play at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. I was really surprised at being able to understand every word of the play (for a change). I haven't been back since but would very much like to.
Actually the theatre behind you at 11.06 is the Swan Theatre rather than the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. It is all part of the RSC and was the original theatre before it was destroyed by fire. It was restored in the 1980s
This is a really excellent video, The Intrepid Guide: very well-researched, entertaining and engagingly presented by you. (Also, the 'Natasha and Debbie' show have just reviewed your video: I was struck when watching their - and your - video about just how good your video was, and so I thought that I would comment here). Cheers.
Oh that’s amazing! Thank you for your kind words and for letting me know how you found my channel. It was one of my favourite and most memorable trips 😊
One of my many times great grandfathers, Richard Castle, was from Stratford-Upon-Avon, and he lived there during Shakespeare's lifetime. I sometimes wonder if the two men ever met or knew each other.

I just found out that Shakespeare is my third cousin. 13 times removed. His grandfather Sir John Alexander Webb was my great-grandfather 15 times removed. 😇

Shakespeare was a front man for the Rosicrucians.
First thing to do, dodge the road works. Secondly, try and find a parking space.
I will truly NEVER forget my time there. Everything.
Preedy lady!
Try reducing the watch time of the video..? Hope more views come in..😅

A beautiful town but the real author never lived there.
Shakespeare died in 1616. Not 1666. That was the Great Fire of London.
He died in the fire?? 😮
It’s not a city
Are you aware of Francis Bacon, and the possibility that William Shakespeare never actually existed, only as a pseudonym for Bacons work?
