This is such a great track Ford, should be on your next album !!! Love it, greetings from Australia !!!
cool idea for a show...congrats on the guitar
Bet that was a tough one to let go of. Some of my favorite Home Schoolin episodes featured that guitar, namely Tennessee Jack Ford.
Tom can you get Ford to come back to UA-cam?
Cool, Boys of Summer chords…
Great playing...tone is amazing
Ford - I also picked up a '59 335 recently. You're absolutely right - they're pure magic!
Came here via the Bukovac vid. Hi from the UK.
I learn more from you than anybody else on UA-cam. You're a very good teacher. You break it down and explain it in a way that's easy to understand. Keep posting videos!
🙏💪🔥🙏
Score on that sweet 335!
DAMN!!! Killer!!! Amazing. Very inspiring!!!
Love the ‘59! I have a cherry dot reissue that sounds a feels great but nothing like an original no doubt!
Boom! Ask and ye shall receive! I was just inquiring as to where you've been lately. Good to see you back.
Awesome guitar and great lesson , thanks man
Thanks Ford!
So good Ford, love your playing and lessons man. I hope your channel keeps growing, you deserved brotha! Thanks for doing what you do!
Got the noodling part down, only difference is mine sounds like a pudsmacker running scales and yours sounds like Melodic mastery 😂
WOW!!..GREAT JAM MAN! LOVE IT!
They don't call 'em Les Paul killers fer nuttin'
👌
Spent a lot of time nerding out over this (check my "content" lol).
Its 100%, 1000% definitely the magnets!
I tried everything and then some and the wind.. really isn't that important. It matters to get it period correct but it isn't where the magic is.
Its the magnets. Best modern materials ones I made were short A5's block charged and goosed down one axis. That created the "bloom" through a hotter coil.
First chord is ……Esus2sus4/A
I really like the modal sound you get with this. Is there a problem thinking of this as a 6 minor to 4 major chord progression in the key of E major and playing G# Phrygian (3rd mode of E) over both chords?
This is exactly what I needed. Thank you Ford! What do we call the first chord with A in the bass? Got the C#m7, but what the heck is the first chord. Whatever it’s called, sounds awesome. Will be putting this to use. Great lesson Ford!
First chord is……Esus2sus4/A
How about A 6/9. In order from bottom to top: A=root, F#=6, B=9, E=5th (4th chord is the key of E major)
I wish Ford would come back to making vids
I am ready !
What amp are you using on this jam...?? Guitar is killer and tone is smooth
Princeton
How do i get this backing track?
🤷♂️🤷♂️
Congratulations on the 59 man it's beautiful! And Tom is fucking awesome
Always a killer fucking tone! Hey do you still play the quilter amps? And have you gotten anything new by them recently? Just a thought I actually bought the mach 2 because of your videos but I went a little quilter crazy and got the overdrive 200 the interblock 45.. quilter rules.. thanks for everything man your playing is tasty as fuck great lessons ..
