Another thing woog that I've noticed about TO and his last few fights is that he leans very heavily on trying to get the knockout right away or early on in the fight. And when it doesn't happen he seems to bathe and not carry the fight well 🤷🏾‍♂️

I agree with you Woog stylistically Claggett is the perfect opponent for Teo, I’m not saying is gonna be an easy night for him but he shouldn’t struggle in terms of style as we have seen in the past

If Teo struggles hear then I’d really wonder how elite he is. He’d really benefit from scoring a KO/TKO.

Hey woog ! I've never seen claggett fight , so I'm interested in seeing what happens. I've liked teofimo since he's been fighting at 135 and up. I took a liking to him like I did Thurman and Crawford and Bam Rodriguez. When he lost a kambosas , ( spelling ? ) I felt the same way with his laws as I did when Thurman lost a Pacquiao. I just felt like both of those fighters underestimated their opponent. Now that teo is challenging Crawford and talking smack , I'm a bit turned off about it , Even though I understand every fighter wants to fight someone that will give them recognition. The only difference is , Crawford wants to fight like Canelo , but he doesn't talk smack about it , and he hasn't talked smack about any opponent that he wanted to challenge. He speaks on it and then he just prepares himself for the opportunity 🤷🏾‍♂️. But anyway we will see what happens in this fight tonight. I see some mental issues with TO just like with Ryan Garcia , maybe not in the same way but , He doesn't handle himself emotionally well in some areas , I'm sure you understand. 😂. Can't wait to hear your comments after the fight 👍🏾😊

Ouch, a split decision vs Claggett is the last thing Teo needs. You don’t think Claggett’s style plays into Teo’s strengths?

Teo's decision loss to George Kambosos is beginning to look more and more like a 1-off which can be attributed to Teo's health issues heading into the fight. I understand Teo was told after the fight he could have died in the ring of his breathing problems. He still only has one defeat...so Why has his name somehow faded out of the limelight? Wasn't he supposed to be one of the "Four Kings?" I wish he would stay a little bit busier and fight better competition. I thought he would be a PPV star by now, especially after his win over Loma. But he's not. If he can look good Saturday, he needs to lobby hard for a crossroads fight with Devin Haney, or even a showdown with Tank Davis. Either fight (especially Tank) would provide the legacy money he won't get fighting on ESPN, because I don't see him fighting beyond 29 or 30. If he loses Saturday, his stock falls, he becomes "Mr. Irrelevant" and not the Heisman Trophy winner.

You’re right. I also thought he’d be more famous by now. I think it’s a mix, between his often confusing behavior in interviews and moreso his inconsistent performances. He only has 1 loss but a lot of ppl feel like they’ve seen him lose 2-3 times. He could really use a KO/TKO here. Only one KO/TKO in his last 6 fights. He’d previously had the reputation of having Tank / Ryan type of power.

@@WhatsGoodWoog I agree. Similar to Edgar Berlanga, who started his career with 16 straight KO. Everyone thought he was special. But the clock struck midnight when he started fighting guys with a pulse. Teo was really obnoxious. I remember him and his dad used to barge in on Canelo press conferences uninvited like the Kool-Aid Man showing their belts and trying to steal Canelo's spotlight. He will probably never be a bankable PPV star, but only a few can be. And you're right: It's not just that you get a win, it's how you win. KO's hold more clout than a decision win and fill more seats.
