But it's not true. In fact IQ has been rising in all studies. People are getting smarter. It has nothing to do with who makes babies and everything to do with who has access to education.
If this theory were true the solution would be to prevent people with low IQ to breed, that's called eugenics and has been tried and falsified many many times.

No, no, & no it is 1000% inaccurate, genetic evolution doesn't work like it is presented in the introduction of this movie. Just ask yourself 1 question : Why do gay or menopaused women exist in the sapiens sapiens genus after 300,000 years of evolution ? "Group evolution", look it up, the transmission of gene are influenced among human beeing by the ones that DO NOT reproduce as much as by the one that DO. A group of Sapiens with a few gays has an overall higher reproductive success that a similar sized roup without gays. So if a group of "stupid" sapiens had no "clever-non reproductive" sapiens in it, it would far much worse than a similar sized group with 100% of reproductive "stupid". It's the "uncle effect", I have difficulties explaining it but look it up.

Eugenics is a practice of excluding certain groups and people who are deemed undesirable to improve the quality of the genetic pool. Only thing the movie even remotely got wrong was using IQ as a measure of intelligence- it is a flawed and limited measure but presently the best one we have. It does not promote eugenics. It points out that multi-generational repopulation by primarily unintelligent people will lead to a decrease in intelligence across the species. I loved this film when it was released, but now I’m just depressed…..it’s become reality in such a short time. Still, this opening is one of the best in film history! I love Mike Judge’s stuff.

I've seen very smart people do some insanely dumb stuff.
Saw a Dr put a butterknife into the toaster
Knew a very smart woman who didn't get the don't overload power lines by plugging an A/C in w toaster or hairdryer on same line at same time. Blew a fuse, still didn't get it. Wired up a recording studio, tho.

Driving is a behaviour which can bring danger, not only to oneself but to others. Behaviour is the operative word. Newborn babies are... well... human beings. I see the difference even if you do not. Besides, who would issue the licenses? How would that be policed?
