In Florida, the law states that a weapon is not considered concealed if it is stored in luggage compartments or locked in the trunk. You can’t open carry in Florida so you can’t have it holstered on your waist openly...and you can’t conceal it without a permit so the best solution is to just keep it in the glove compartment or center console with the clip next to it.

I keep mine next to me out of the holster. Then put it on when I get out of the truck and go to work. Might say when I'm driving it's real easy and fast to get to if needed. Trying to draw while sitting down with seatbelt on is way to slow and could get you killed if it snags on something.

@@LetsgoBrandon2023 Not one single gun shot fired. Globally 4.2 million people die during or within 30 days after surgery yearly. In the United States, right at 100,000 die from complications yearly from surgery. References from the expert panel of Institute Of Medicine, part of the National Academy Of Sciences.
@@LetsgoBrandon2023 What I am saying is all of those mad people don’t even realize how many people are killed in the medical profession that goes almost unheard of. 19,379 gun deaths in the United States in the year of 2020, and deaths caused by medical professionals is right at 4 times higher than the number of gun deaths, and you don’t see people protesting the almost 100,000 killed by medical professionals. I am with you on gun rights. Congress needs to work on laws that punish some of these medical professionals that kill patients accidentally (?) There are a lot of drug addicts and alcoholics in the medical field that should not be practicing medicine, some of which do get away with murder. Their weapon of choice is a scalpel or a pen.
@@VonBluesman you realize that complications after surgery are different than shooting someone with a gun right? You’re comparing thousands of people who VOLUNTARILY have certain surgeries that have potential high risk factors to people who unintentionally get shot. You’re comparing doctors to criminals, cops, and random citizens with little to no training. There’s no logic in this argument. A lot of times, the human body is at fault as opposed to the surgeon if there’s a death after surgery. That can’t be said when it comes to gun deaths. So protesting 100,000 medical deaths is not as simple as opposing owning guns.

I didn't understand when he said guns can have negligent discharge bouncing around in a car? Um aren't most modern pistols have a trigger safety just for that reason?
I just tuck my pistol directly infront of where the seat belt locks in, or the less popular, under the rear passenger side floor mat if you don't intend on passengers. Floor mat keeps it in place and it's surprisingly easy to slip a hand behind the seat and grab it.
It depends on the part of the "south" you're referring to. In Florida, you need to have a permit/license to carry concealed (open carry is currently illegal in Florida), and it's illegal to have your firearm in open view in your vehicle, even if you have a permit. If you don't want to carry, while driving, then you put the firearm in the glove compartment or in the center console. So, I don't know what part of "the south" you were referring to, or if you were just speaking in general, but either way, you definitely weren't talking about Florida.
Alabama here... we are required to get a concealed carry permit from the sheriff's department. Although open carry is legal, but usually frowned upon by non educated citizens who get afraid and call the police. Even though its completely legal to openly carry of a firearm. Yeah. I would rather have my pistol on me ,then mounted to the interior of a car/truck. Some criminal happens to get the drop on you and you having the weapon mounted is game over for you if you reach for the pistol. But having the pistol concealed on you is the best option ( if CRIMINAL gets the drop on you and you have to exit the car it's still ok cause you are still armed but now just getting out of the car . I keep mine next to me out of the holster. Then put it on when I get out of the truck and go to work. Might say when I'm driving it's real easy and fast to get to if needed. Trying to draw while sitting down with seatbelt on is way to slow and could get you killed if it snags on something.
I am new to potential gun ownership - haven't even bought one yet. But these videos and comments sometimes create more questions than answers. I am pretty sure I'm going to get a glock 19. Other than that still researching.
Scott i highly recommend a canik tp9s elite. Around 349 bucks and comes factory with amazing trigger, sights, and barrel. Shoots insanely accurate. Check them out
Times sure have changed, we used to carry guns in plain sight stored in gun racks mounted by the rear glass window. Now you can’t leave any gun in sight because of thieves.
Or you'll have people go batshit crazy that you have a gun and practice the right to keep and bear arms
@@VonBluesman what? All I was saying is that you'll have people be all mad and pissed off that you have a gun
Since carrying and storing firearms are a necessity, especially in today's day and age, as stated in this video, it is important that we invest in the best and most reliable vehicle, desk, and under-the-bed gun vaults. My personal favorite is the Titan Gun Vault, manufactured by Titan Security Products Inc, which ensures the highest level of security. So I recommend that you explore their range of car gun vaults for the ultimate firearm protection.
I'm sure it depends on the state but are the under dash magnets illegal?
Very good video , I have a concealed perment when I'm driving in superduty my gun is placed under my steering wheel using a left handed halster clipping right to the plastic pannel. I do like some of those new halster ideas, wear where this 5 years ago. Something to think about. Thanks
Your English is horrendous. Wtf is a perment?
My states law says I can carry inside the vehicle without any permit (not on person) and we have "stand your ground" law along with the "castle doctrine" which now applies to inside our vehicle.
I carry my gun inside my middle console (NOT where I keep my registration/proof of insurance). Don't need any misunderstandings :-P.

Just picked up a magnetic mount for my truck that ables me to rack one before removing from the mount

Also in some states if you crash the gun gets thrown from the vehicle and someone finds it and uses it in a crime, you will be charged with that crime.

@@justintime1579 you do understand they don’t use your typical press to form their shells!
I didn't understand when he said guns can have negligent discharge bouncing around in a car? Um aren't most modern pistols have a trigger safety just for that reason?
Absolutely right. A safe gun is safest on your person an not laying in open or under car seats.
I just tuck my pistol directly infront of where the seat belt locks in, or the less popular, under the rear passenger side floor mat if you don't intend on passengers. Floor mat keeps it in place and it's surprisingly easy to slip a hand behind the seat and grab it.
Nevada you can open carry a loaded pistol without any permits. Same for being in the car. Must be viable in some manner.
Thanks for saving me from googling this information about Nevada
Sounds like everyone should just move to the south, where you don’t need a license to have a gun in your car.
In Texas if you don’t have a carry license, the gun must be hid, out of sight
My rights are violated so they can feel better.
Or just carry cause gun laws break the 2nd and are void no matter what the government says
Eric Von Zipper In GA you do not need a license to have a gun in your car, house or place of business.
You conceal like you normally would, don’t keep it anywhere but on your person
I know a guy who keeps a loaded hellcat in his glovebox.
There’s no point of carrying if it isn’t on you 24/7. Car robber jacks you and your gun 😂 so sad people can’t be smart enough to see that!
That's why I have a on body gun and a truck gun. Dont have to worry about it.

The best way to conceal carry is on you. If a cop walks up and sees a firearm displayed like that it might not turn out to good for you.
I assure you, here in California, you would probably be for sure at felony gun point, if not shot.
The owner of this company is a rad guy. These are top notch holesters

Could you share which guns will go off from bouncing around, it's a safety issue.
But that is my preference. You carry however you think is best for you.
What if u do both

Just wondering. Wouldn't you need a "lefty" holster for a dash mount, or really any mount that is in front of you. It seems to me, being a "righty", that the reach toward the dash requires you to turn our hand in an awkward position to grab you gun. Whereby the lefty holster gives you a more natural feel and reach for you weapon. Asking for a friend, thanks. Also please add a Taurus G2C holster that will fit the Streamlight TLR6. Even tho every thing you read says it for a glock, it apparently fits a G2C. Again, thanks

Anyone had experience with that velcro system? I'm wondering if these potholes in Denver would rip it off lol.
I had a trailer brake controller mounted in the same spot using velcro before because I used it in two different trucks. It worked well for some time, but after about 2 years, it was pretty much useless from the velcro wearing down. And the brake controller was half the weight of most carry pistols.
