Thanks for the video. We are thinking of relocating here but is there high crime esp in Winston Salem or is it only certain parts and only late night? Appreciate any insights on crime.
There is crime everywhere, I would suggest checking out Crimemapping.org and see where it occurs. Crime does happen more at night and it's usually in "pockets". So steer clear of those areas :-)
@@LivingInGreensboroNC oh I do! Lol Is it a safe area? Also, and this is random. Since it’s close to WS, is it a little hilly? Not sure I want all flat land. I just love the idea of a smaller town but that’s close enough to two cities. Coming from Phoenix so the green is just breathtaking.
@@Amanda-wh8ww I would check out crimemapping.com, every town has sections that aren't great - so steer clear of those areas! I wouldn't say that its hilly or totally flat. We aren't in the mountains, so it's not hilly - but it's not like the middle of the country where you can see for miles and miles. THat's not the terrain here. If that makes sense?
@@Amanda-wh8ww I moved to Greensboro from Tucson after 20 years in June 2021. I love it! I am in Northern Greensboro, near Summerfield and it is so cute. Lots of farms with horses and cows near by. Winston is closer to the mountains and more hilly. You should visit if possible to see where you like. I stayed at the Historic Brookstone Inn in Winston and would recommend. My favorite part has been the seasons. I can’t decide if I like Spring or Autumn better.

Ciener is pronounced (see-ner) not with a long I sound. If you had grown up in Kernersville in the 50s 60s70s80s90s or 100s you probably wouldn’t like it. I couldn’t wait to get out. Out of state.
