So you just installed super bright LED turn signal bulbs, and now you go to test them, just to find the bulb blinking at the speed of light. In this video, Tyler walks us through step-by-step how to fix this annoying issue. The reason that your new LED bulbs hyperflash is that they do not carry as much resistance as your halogen bulbs. The simple fix is just to install resistors, follow along and see how easy this process is. Lastly, for the brightest turn signals and best resistors, check out the links above!

I’m still amazed no one has come up with a better solution than T-tapping into the wires. Sure it works fine, but from a longevity standpoint, probably not the best solution. Is there not a way to add an inline adapter that’s connected to the resistor? Like a male-by-female bulb socket, which receives the factory socket in one side, and you plug the bulb into the other?

There are some companies, like GTR Lighting, that are starting to include plug-and-play resistors like you described! Definitely much easier to use and install.

It’s always a tried and tried putting a load equalizer resistor.
But why not a more simple and refined led flasher relay?

Flasher relay may not work the same on every application such as a resistor would.

@@RetrofitSource how about a Novita led flasher relay?
Or some vehicles are difficult to change them and the load equalizer resistor is the best option?
Also, I notice he didn’t splice the wires. Instead he tapped them to bypass the oem to resistors? What was the difference between the old load equalizer resistors and the new one?

Do you need one per bulb or will one fix the whole system?
