Every great Sunday starts with a Noel Phillips’ video and a cup of coffee. Love your videos man, been watching for a while now. Cheers and good health to ya in this year ❤️
We flew on an Emirates A380 yesterday and it had the same screen where you could look at the heading, the degree of tilt, and which direction the plane was heading. I’m with you, I think I had it on most of the flight.
I'm pretty sure most IFE screens on most if not all international flights. I've flown Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific A330-300 and B777-300ER and all had those. And this was in 2012 too. So I don't know how people especially people who fly far far far far farrrrrr more frequently than me, I haven't flown nearly 10 years. It's weird how frequent flyers are only just picking up on these little Easter eggs just now, when I noticed all these immediately. Don't know how that is but oh well
The last time we flew on Delta they had that on the in seat screens even in economy. I had my Bose headphones on within 3 minutes listening to my Spotify. I love flying, but watching numbers click up and down for ⅔'s of the flight is akin to watching paint dry...
Absolutely love flying with Delta, Noel. Came back from JFK with them a few years ago into LHR and found their service to be exemplary. Glad to see it hasn’t changed! 😋
I flew Delta One from Detroit to Honolulu on my way to Maui about 2 weeks before the world shut down in 2020 (the best timed vacation of my life, lol) and it was great. It was the first time I flew that long without feeling exhausted when I arrived. The food and service were top notch, no complaints whatsoever. Well worth the price for long-haul flights like that one.
This may be random and off topic, but you trying to speak with an American accent is my FAVORITE! So endearing! Your travel videos are some of my favorite. Thank you!
All the videos I've seen reviewing the Delta One A330 business class product have all been very good. It's definitely a step up from the previous seat.
Totally agree with you about Delta Noel. On the last Delta flight I took the captain came down the plane & said good morning to everyone. It was reassuring to see he was sober & normal! Got us there 20 mins early as well.
Live in Orlando, Florida, and Delta is the airline I fly. Got Diamond medallion this year, so have enjoyed Many nice flights, especially in the A350 one suites just like the A330-900neo. Great video Noel, as always. Need to try the A330-900 across the pond soon. Cheers 🍻.
I have literally just recently been in that lounge and taken that flight. It was nice to relive it through you. I fly Delta often and most of their newer or refit planes have a nice first class/ Delta One section. The older planes they use for a lot of basic domestic flights are where most of the problems are.
Have to agree with you Noel, I’ve flown with the “big three” U.S airlines as well as some of the smaller ones on both domestic and transatlantic flights and Delta are a cut above the rest when it comes to quality of service, every flight I’ve had with them has been a pleasure so they’re my default choice for travel to and within the USA 😊
Thanks for another fantastic video! And welcome back home after the long journey. thanks for showing us so much and helping to improve the air travel experience in many ways! I think you need smell-a-vision for the quiche (but not the loo)! :)
Your videos are great, I started watching a couple of weeks ago because I'm petrified of flying and I'm going on a plane in 4 weeks and the way you don't care about flying is calming me down 🤣🤣
Nice video Noel, enjoy your time off....always good to reconnect with the family! (I finally rode on a Delta AB 220-100, it was very nice, quite engines, good cabin air, seats in Economy Comfort were very nice.)
I have enjoyed your latest series of videos and have been watching for a few years now. I must say you are my go to AV geek (I'm one too and have been for over 45 years). Get some much earned and needed rest and say hi to the wife and kiddos from SLC Utah. Keep safe my friend! PEACE!
I was booked with an A330-200 and was very happy when the day before it was switched out with an A330-900 Neo. The Suites are very nice. That was also a very lovely view of the Sunrise.
I've actually rode in Delta one a number of times and it's amazing! plus the sky lounge at JFK is one of my favorites. Tho as you said anywhere you go in JFK is a bit of a walk.
amazing video as usual !! the roar was excellent and the clip of the 747 disappearing into the clouds on approach was beautiful. lovely stuff noel !! ✈️✈️
Just discovered your channel, and love your trip reviews! I immediately clicked on this one since I'm an avgeek and loyal Delta flyer, for business and leisure (domestic here in the US), and have nothing but great things to say about their service and equipment. I relish the chances to ride Delta One class domestically; I've been on their A330s in the Delta One cabin several times, and right before the pandemic hit, got to enjoy one of their 777s that had just been retrofitted with the Delta One cabin between ATL-LAX. Arguably the best flights I'd ever been on...sadly the 777s became a casualty of the pandemic and fleet rationalization program (along with other classics like the McDD "Mad Dogs"), but the new A330s are nice. It's good to see the Tumi amenity kit come back...I have several saved from previous trips, which they packed in a hard-shell case. Thanks for the videos, and continued safe travels!
Love your videos. Ever thought of flying Tap from Portland to Luanda, Angola. Then Angola Airlines to Cape Town. From Cape Town take a flight to Antarctica to go glamping for the night on ice.
Noel, as a suggestion, you should try an obscure route to South America. Flying AirFrance from Paris to Fortaleza in Brazil. It has become one of the biggest, yet newest routes to link Europe and Brazil. Maybe whilst in Brazil, you should try flying back to Europe with Azul airlines (owned by the American JetBlue) flying from São Paulo to Portugal. I love your videos.
Really amazing looking business class in my own perspective especially with the cool blue mood lighting! I'm definitely glad that you have made it back to your home region in Europe safe and sound after a wonderful service and flight on Delta Airlines! BTW, it would've been cool to see you taking a helicopter first to the airport, only to fly again on a longer flight on a plane back to Europe, but I think that I can wait for that another time.
I know he's shown flying on blade a few times in other reviews. There's one where he and his wife go to NYC during Christmas and they do it then I think.
It's so obvious how laboured your breathing is with the face diaper on, we are such fools. I love all your vids Noel, the best is your screaming baby videos..You just look at the camera with such agony ... cracks me up. Cheers !
Delta has really surged in service and renovated equipment over the past 15 years. As they update their fleet, they just keep getting better. Although, they do seem obsessed with status and what you spend. I'd love to get the appreciation of being a SkyMiles member for 20 years and having a loyalty all the time, not just when I spend money. But, that's the way of the world in 2024...
I enjoyed the video. I fly at least a couple of times a year and always fly Delta when I can. I’ve flown most U.S. carriers, and everything just seems better on Delta…from aircraft to service and amenities…it’s all the best in the U.S…definitely among the legacy carriers. I’ve never flown Alaska or Jet Blue, so I can’t speak for them.
TUMI (I think it's pronounced ""Too-Me") is a premium bag brand. I believe they are partnered with Delta as people have told me that once you hit a certain point, you can get a free carry-on Tumi roller bag (I think it was something like 1M miles).
Thanks for going through the kit because I will be flying premium economy delta in May to Iceland and I am very curious about what is included in those kits since this is the first time I am flying an international flight.
Which airports can you fly out of for delta to Iceland? That is a bucket list destination for me. I don’t how to book the ticket for it. I hope your trip went well.
Another great review 💙glad you got to finally try it. I wonder whether the aisle of window seats are better? Probably more privacy on the aisle side but it's nice being next to the window for the views 😶🌫
There's something so soothing in seeing a rain swept runway and realising you will soon be above it all, nice and cozy.
Every great Sunday starts with a Noel Phillips’ video and a cup of coffee. Love your videos man, been watching for a while now. Cheers and good health to ya in this year ❤️
That is so true
Absolutely! Exactly what I’m doing now lol.
SAME! Im eatin' eggs and got my coffee. Best mornin' ever!
Perfectly said. Sunday mornings in Los Angeles with Noel. ✈✈☕ ☕
Agreed, except that here in France it's an excuse not to do anything productive on a Sunday afternoon.

lots of IFE screens have that to some degree

The ucrane
Smart camera placement at 21.02 inside overhead bin and smooth crisp video editing/transition after on. Love it. Brilliant!
My wife was on that plane (N409DX) on March 16, flying from MSP to AMS. She loved the layout of the plane. It gave a smooth ride to Schiphol.
I love that you can watch the aircraft’s speed, pitch, destination, etc.! Like Noel, I could watch it for hours.
"Someone stick a quid in the meter" - Noel Philips, Delta One Suite review, April 2022. Absolutely amazing 😂

The difference between you and many other geeks is that you don't argue your way out of issues. You reason and persevere Class. Cheers!
You always make me happy with your energy and humor thanks for that and keep on going
First of all, best videography of all the UA-camrs, and your love of flying makes it that much better
I always fly Delta One when available on a flight. Totally worth it. One of the best and most comfortable flying experiences you can have.
I am flying home in december and flying in this cabin, I am so excited that you reviewed this

Have a nice break Noel. Time to relax , enjoy the Spring time in the UK and family.
I fly like twice a year and I have TSA pre-check 😂 it only took me being in line for 2 hours in DFW once for me to justify getting it!
Nice video Noel, enjoy your time off....always good to reconnect with the family! (I finally rode on a Delta AB 220-100, it was very nice, quite engines, good cabin air, seats in Economy Comfort were very nice.)

I died at Noel's attempt at saying meatballs in an American accent LOL
I really start a fantastic week watching your videos,it's very refreshing and exciting
those lightstrips at overhead bins on recent Airbuses look quite cool

Noel. I live through you. All the things i wish I could do but can't at this time. Thank you so much my friend.
You are truly one of the funniest and most pleasant people in the world.
Love these long haul flight videos!
Noel, in your opinion,
how does Delta One Suite stack up against JetBlue Mint Studio?
Ive done both and besides the lounge issue, Mint studio is definitely better. Much larger, better food, and more amenities.
But delta as an airline is far superior to Jet Blue, one will be like 4hrs late everyday
Mint food great,bed horrible.
Nicely done Noel, enjoyed your humor and comments.
Glad you enjoyed it
I concur 100% on Delta being a class act...
Love Delta One Suite! I flew on the same aircraft as you as well. Definitely do it again
Another fantastic video! many thanks Noel!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I enjoyed your video describing in detail and comparing standards in various aircraft, especially food and service. 👍
I once flew First class on Delta from Atlanta to Stuttgart, Germany. It was definitely my best experience on a airplane.
Very cool!
I sat in the exact same seat in the Delta Sky Club at JFK when I was there in November! Thanks for keeping it warm for me.
Any time!
Excellent video nice to see the new A330. We fly the Delta One Suites on the A350 DTW-AMS often
Thank you as always for excellent flying content, not to mention your quick and funny wit.

Those 747 operators! A previous operator of the same 747 got in the way of my private pilot check ride. TWICE! back in 2003.
I’m impressed with Delta!
well done Noel!
The new suites are fantastic
Looks amazing....one day!
Great Video Noel, I look forward to your uploads of a Sunday
Uber to JFK from Manhattan, man take the subway
