Not so far from the truth up Box Hill. Lots of stories of strange sounds and sightings of an apre-like creature in the area down the years, including very recently. Lots of connections to the occult and Satanic rituals as well. Not the sort of place you want to be spending the night alone.

Hi Will, just a quick one m8. Your co detector needs to be as high up as you can. Co is lighter than air so tends to fill ceiling then slowly descends so by the time it went off in the position you have it you'd be dead. When the stoves on it uses all the oxygen in the air , stay safe pal

Hey, Chef, never scrape your cutting board with the edge (sharp side) of your knife; always use the spine. This helps preserve the integrity of the cutting edge. ;) Box Hill is lovely! One of my favourite places in the south of England. My daughter used to work at Smith and Western. It's great to see your adventures. You've inspired me a bit. I think it's time to get out and do some stealth camping!
For boiling water you can bay an electric cattle 12V, so you can save on the gas for the stove. With it you can boil water when driving and it will be nice and hot once you park 🙂
Seeing you turn on the fairy lights always makes me chuckle! 😂 I've fitted two Car Shades (made in UK to specifically fit each make of car windows perfectly) to the rear passenger windows to allow them to be open at 🌃 night for fresh air flow in winter and avoid codensation. They also prevent mosquitoes and bugs entering during warmer seasons. I also try to avoid dogging car parks. 😂
I have a scary story about one night we spent in the Colorado rockies and I'll try not to make it to long. My wife and I went to go camping at the place we had heard about near the Red Cliff bridge , we got a late start and were having a hard time finding it. It was now around 9:00pm and was completely dark out so we pulled over and discussed what we should do because there was a hike close by that we had planned on doing that next morning. We didn't want to spend the money on a hotel and there wasn't even one close by. We had seen a pull off a few miles back and decided to go camp in the car there since she had an SUV that you could fold the seats down in the back and pretty much have a full bed. Oh and I forgot to mention that it was and had been snowing very heavy out. The pull off went about a half mile back and then hit a fence but there were no signs saying it was private or no trespassing. At the fence there was a opening about 50ft wide to turn around or whatever so we just pulled over to the side and parked the car. We made our beds and were just having a good time talking and laughing we each other. About an hour and a half had gone by and we were starting to get tired and gonna go to sleep. At this point there was about 8 inches of new snow on the car. We had all the lights turned off and closed our eyes, suddenly 2 black Suv's pull up and park side by side on the other side of the circle near the fence. They sat there for about 5 minutes when one guy got out and entered the other car. We had no idea what was going on but did not what to draw their attention cause our car looked like it had just been parked there and left and they did not seem to think anyone was in it. All of a sudden we hear someone start screaming Like horrible death curdling screams, we looked at each other and just about shit our pants. While this guy was screaming we were trying to think about what we should do. We didn't have any weapons at least nothing all that great, there was so much snow we would have had to get out to clean some off to be able to see to drive and thats even if the car could drive in that amount of snow. We put our clothes on in case they came over to the car and we had to take off running into the woods. This whole time this guy sounds like he is being tortured. We stayed low and looked peeked out the window but we could see into their cars. I don't think I had ever been this scared in my life all I could think is please don't come over here and check out our car! The screaming went on for about 15 minutes but it felt like hours. Finally the guy gets out of the car and gets back into the one he drove up in. They sit there for about another 5 minutes then start up their cars and drive off. After about 20 minutes we figured they were gone and we got the hell outa there. Till this day we have no idea what really happened or who it was, all I know is that something terrible was happening in that car. We didn't report this to the police cause all we had was a story and with the snow there wasn't even evidence that any cars had ever been there.
lmao there was someone getting tortured and you guys didn’t even think of calling the police in the moment while it was happening💀 shi tbh I woulda done the same😂

Nice! Definitely more of this Will (minus the donuts and doggers of course;) As some have suggested, if you have a good battery power pack an Electric blanket is a life saver. Also, staying with 12v, a small kettle and electric lunch box is a godsend. All are fair low cost and great for winter when you don't want to fire up the stoves. Keep up the adventure!
I love your videos Will. They are amazing and love your editing. Your videos are a delight to watch. I get increasingly worried about all the in-car fire you use. I hope you get a heater powered by solar or something. Open flame scared me for you.
@@WillsWhereabouts in what way can laying and sleeping next to an open fire, in an extremely flammable sleeping bag in an enclosed space be professional? you're inches away from starting a fire right on yourself for a whole night 💀
Lol Will, you were unlucky with the wacky noises! You’re a brave soul parking overnight in deserted areas. I preferred urban overnights, since any weirdness used to hack off the residents, and if it got too bad the householders would call the police 👮♀️😏
I'd consider a Jackery 1000 (ideally) and a $30 or more electric blanket. The 500 Jackery ($400-$500) could keep an electric blanket going with an 60W output for 8 hours. You'd have to find a way to recharge (solar is an option and in rain weather either an outlet at home/gym/other or use your car battery to charge it back up). No noise or flame. In 20 degree weather it works well not sure it lower than that. Best of luck.
@Barry Dillard I wasn't worried about carbon monoxide I was looking at an open flame not far from a wall I always worry about fires And an open flame while you are sleeping is worrisome I'm a great grandma It's my job to look out
honestly I've done away with sleeping bags. I've started using a very warm furry blanket, most of the times even in the coldest nights I still have to sleep half uncovered or I'm overheating. best choice ever
Good to see you using the board to cook on. Much safer too. Would be really great if you could adapt it to have a leg on one end (short length) and the other resting in/on your car so that it was actually more outside than in. That way would still be mostly under canopy if boot lid but easier to stand at as well as less steam/condensation and food smells/splashes inside your vehicle :-)
My friend i must admit i have only recently found this video at three in the morning, but i must say you could have heard one of three things:the screaming of someone getting murdered, A Skinwalker trying to lure in prey, or someone who stubbed their toe.
14:08 : when you happen to stumble upon a tribe.. Some of the noises sounded uh odd.. but if you watch videos about tribes and when they go hunt and on the way back they make noises to find eachother.. either that or there is a cult nearby idk
From the intro I fucking KNEW this was going to be Box Hill!!! Love it round there, even more Leith Hill. Spent the last forty years (give or take) cycling, walking or camping there. I've stealth camped on Leith Hill ...on new years eve at least twice, nearly killed myself there one year, pissed as a fart in a bivvy tent, left it open by accident, rain blew in and killed my old Sony mobile. Woke up hung over and hypothermic, face to face with a dog walker ...very embarrassing. I guess you know it's well advised to stay away from the stepping stones road! Love the echo under the Burford Bridge. If you haven't already discovered this, get down there, it's awesome. Thumbs VERY up :-)
Gas heaters and cookers produce moisture and can cause damp mold and mildew.best thing to keep warm in your bag is a good old fashioned hot water bottle.i have been stealth camper for over 30 years in all kinds of vehicles the two most unusual were a ford edsel 1959 model ..backseat like a settee lol .a micra ...yes micra .jeep cherokee and best of all vw t25 .keep safe and have fun .
I saw that condensation vac on another video. That guy had a tip, he held it upright after each pass so the liquid would drain into the collector... How is it working for you? I like to void the condensation all together, any suggestions?
@@WillsWhereabouts does it collect the water? Bro this reminds of something So like i was in my room playing video games with my friends I heard someone or something call my name from outside I then i looked out my window and turned on my flashlight then i see a pair of eyes reflecting from my light It wasn’t a racoon because we didn’t have none in my home town And it wasn’t a deer or dog or bear It was looking at me and it sounded like it was talking in my mother’s voice slightly By the way I live by the bushes Man i will never forget that encounter with something or cryptid
@@lorenamannettier3404it was looking at me for about ten minutes, and yes it was just eyes that was visible I didn't see no body because it was in one of the small bushes but it was trying to lure me outside by trying to sound like my mother... and I think I heard it making weird breathing, that only happened when my mother was at her friends or mother's house and my other older siblings were asleep but I knew it wasn't my mom because I know my mother doesn't go in the bushes/forest but I've never seen it after that encounter, but the forest/bushes is just like 20-35 feet away from my window and the thing/entity was on the edge of the forest/bushes so it was actually slightly close but not too close just in the edge of the forest/bushes

Thanks for the tips! You’ll see my failed attempt with an electric blanket in the next video haha
@@WillsWhereaboutswhat are those Noise outside at night?
I love your videos Will. They are amazing and love your editing. Your videos are a delight to watch.
I get increasingly worried about all the in-car fire you use. I hope you get a heater powered by solar or something. Open flame scared me for you.
Thanks Krishna, haha don’t be scared I’m a professional 😂😂
@@WillsWhereabouts in what way can laying and sleeping next to an open fire, in an extremely flammable sleeping bag in an enclosed space be professional? you're inches away from starting a fire right on yourself for a whole night 💀
You really need to pick a more discreet dogging spot. 🤣
hahaha I think so
😁
Have you thought about using good old fashioned hot water bottles in your sleeping bag to stay warmer overnight?
Protip- buy infrared camera for night and put it round your camping site looking at your camp
I feel cozy when I sleep in my car
Sounds like some one very much enjoying them self 😂
Lol Will, you were unlucky with the wacky noises! You’re a brave soul parking overnight in deserted areas. I preferred urban overnights, since any weirdness used to hack off the residents, and if it got too bad the householders would call the police 👮♀️😏
😂😂 I would love to see the weirdness scaring police hha
@Loki Simpson Haha... in a smaller van than Will’s...and I lived in it 😀🚐
I'd consider a Jackery 1000 (ideally) and a $30 or more electric blanket.
Wow nice setup for camping. Yes now that is some weird noise for real. Stay Safe
Glad you took my advice and got a book it realy does pass the time and a wooly hat keeps your head warm
Yep for sure, always takes me a while to find a good book to read
Namaste Will, loved and enjoying your every video, stay safe much love from Nepal.
Thanks a ton
👌🏻
Only discovered this channel from a scary video compilation now I’m hooked to these videos. Love the set-up
Also that’s terrifying
That fire looks dangerous, open flame inches from flammable bedding or car
Not to mention the toxic carbon monoxide filling up in the car, Can kill you quick in such a small space.
@Barry Dillard
I wasn't worried about carbon monoxide
I was looking at an open flame not far from a wall
I always worry about fires
And an open flame while you are sleeping is worrisome
I'm a great grandma
It's my job to look out
@@BC_Joshie he had the windows cracked and he also has a Carbonmonoxide detector. Were you not paying attention to what saying in the video?
@@robokat36 Don't forget the door behind him doesn't lock so if he had to get out in jiffy he can.

at first i literally thought someone was moaning🤭
Ohh yeah ahhhhhh ufffffff 🔥🔥

Good old box hill nothing like a bit of dogging 😂
Hahah tell me about it!
honestly I've done away with sleeping bags. I've started using a very warm furry blanket, most of the times even in the coldest nights I still have to sleep half uncovered or I'm overheating. best choice ever
Is that human sacrifice in middle of woods and they are celebrating it by playing song thinking this at 3:40
Good to see you using the board to cook on.
Thanks for the suggestion Lin! I want to try and keep everything as minimal as possible but a simple leg stand would work great!
ME “ IS SOMEONE GETTING KILLED OR SOMETHING!. :EDIT I’M HAVINN NIGHTMARES
Same dude but I think it is probably some drunk people having a party
Boys having fun and chilling together, love the atmosphere.
Mmm not good if ur trying to fucking sleep tho
Just started watching your videos. Great entertainment really enjoying them 😊
Awesome, thank you!
bro that scream sounded like a skin walker
I saw a reel about this video on ig, I’ve been trying to find it, and I finally did, thanks to the thumbnail
Literally sounds like someone gagged is being murdered. Screaming in pain.
“Stealth Camping with Young Jason Statham”
😂😂
@@WillsWhereabouts absolutely LOVE your channel, Will! My name is Christian from MA, USA!
You should try a stealth camp in my home town, Stratford East London that get your hair up at night.
Haha really, I may have to
From the intro I fucking KNEW this was going to be Box Hill!!!
Thumbs VERY up :-)
I can see Tibetan prayer flag in the background are colorful and beautiful. Peace , compassion, strength and wisdom. 🙏 Awesome video.
Definitely human(s)
Your brave (stupid?) for actually staying🥺
Glad your safe 😘
On to the next adventures 🚙💨
it sounded like you parked next to the zoo 😂😂
hey you just need a big stone to heat it will last a long time heating system
I like how people in these comments acting like this is normal. BRO I WOULD BE TERRIFIED IM BOOKING IT.
I can't stop laughing when he said "having s** in cars"
I saw that condensation vac on another video. That guy had a tip, he held it upright after each pass so the liquid would drain into the collector... How is it working for you? I like to void the condensation all together, any suggestions?
It’s working great! Some people have mentioned de humidifiers for me
@@WillsWhereabouts does it collect the water? I'm thinking about a dehumidifier that collects water (vs the dessicant type) cos I resent the idea of water I'm producing causing problems in my vehicle but then have to buy/fill up with water regularly (and no, I realise they don't make much water but every lil counts)
Bro this reminds of something
So like i was in my room playing video games with my friends I heard someone or something call my name from outside
I then i looked out my window and turned on my flashlight then i see a pair of eyes reflecting from my light
It wasn’t a racoon because we didn’t have none in my home town
And it wasn’t a deer or dog or bear
It was looking at me and it sounded like it was talking in my mother’s voice slightly
By the way
I live by the bushes
Man i will never forget that encounter with something or cryptid
Describe more. How far from you was that thing / entity? Just eyes visible?
Sounds like a mimic.
@@GlowingdustThere have been Sasquatch sightings on and around Boxhill.
I live a few miles away from there. My mother's ashes are scattered on top of the hill ❤
A tea candle placed inside a clay pot will give off loads of heat. Place clap pot on top of old small skillet/cooking pot. Total cost, $4.00.
Bro I love this video I’ve gone camping many times and heard weird things but I accidentally set my vans panic alarm off and probably woke everyone up but I love your videos so much keep it up my guy
I’m going backpacking today now I’m tripping out 😂
That was a great video but those noises were bloody terrifying 😰
Tell me about it haha
Either someone getting murdered or foxes having a fight
Those screams can be of jackals they make very similar sounds like humans
It’s fake so you can pull your socks back up
@@WillsWhereaboutsthese are foxes, they sound scary as hell
Thank you for another great video! Can't wait to start stealth camping again, but in the northern part of Norway it's still pitch black 24/7 and not enough gas and blankets to keep me warm during night 😅 Looking forward to more videos, also in the urban areas 👌🏼
Bloody hell really, dark all day? I can imagine it gets absolutely freezing!
@@WillsWhereabouts In the US me and my dad heard similar noises while camping in a tent.
They are likely a animal though but either way they sound horrifying
