    2:52 The turrets and certain decorations are actually added to the workshop. There are magazines you collect at each location which should have unlocked them.

      @@Ricardo_Rick Laser turrets are best for bottlenecking while ballistic turrets are best for open area and death-corners... oh, be careful with the flamer traps for those inside invasions.

    I'm surprised you didn't bring up the fact that the baseball launcher is bugged in such a way that if you use it in VATS you can spawn functionally infinite ammo by firing twice as many baseballs as are held in a magazine per VATS round

    As I understand it, the reason CC can’t have voiced dialogue is because of Sony’s proprietary sound file format. Other platforms can have creations with sound files but PS cannot because Sony will (understandably) not make their proprietary sound file format available to whoever wants to open the Creation Kit and make a mod. There are official Skyrim Creations that have voiced dialogue on PC and XBox but are not available for PS.

    2:56 Um, you CAN get the turrets as buildable objects. Just find the manual at one of the three new Enclave camps.
    3:12 Also, in case you missed, the winter version is reference to General Chase from Anchorage DLC that had the same uniform in the simulation.

    You do get the enclave turrets as well as the guard barricades as long as you collect the enclave manuals at the four outposts, usually after you have completed the main enclave quest.

    When looking at Suggs' terminal, there's an Easter egg relating to Cooper Howard. When reading about the Chinese grenade launcher and it being a weapon that can tear through power armor. Apparently its implied Cooper was the client that asked Suggs to procure the launcher.

    Ammunition is available also from Arturo and Kleo - they’re not common, however they do show up occasionally.

    Pipe Grenade Launcher can be made into a very lightweight weapon, great for Survival Mode. It also benefits from the Rifleman and Gunslinger passives, depending on what stock you use.

    4:33 The BoS manufactured more than one tesla cannon. You can find several in their armory if you chose to orbital strike the Citadel at the end of Broken Steel - its not too implausible that the Enclave could've engineered their some of their own cannons, given their vast resources. After all, such a weapon would prove useful against Brotherhood assets such as Power armor and captured vertibirds.

      but, orbital striking the BoS is definitely not the canon outcome since it's very specifically noted that the BoS won the battle for Adams AFB, and in that instance are the tesla cannons still present in the armory? also if the enclave was defeated, losing both their primary and secondary headquarters in the capital region, what resources do they have left? yes the TV series shows them back up and operational, but beyond some FEV experiments and doggo mind control, I have to wonder what their actual tech capabilities really are.

      ​@@Theegreygaming Why wouldn't the Tesla Cannons still be in the BoS armory regardless of the players end choice? Scribes would have to know how the tech works to make proper use of it in a weapon, meaning they would be able to create more of them for more cannons

      @@Theegreygaming The Citadel tesla cannons are only accessible in the non-canonical ending, but I still think it's worth noting their presence, as it implies that these things aren't one of a kind, and could be replicated.
      The Enclave may have lost their main bases, but the nature of their faction means they most certainly would have access to various pre-war bunkers and facilties from which they could conduct research and development on these weapons - it'd be logical to equip their troops with tesla cannons, given the technological prowess of the Enclaves enemies.

      @@archdornan8349 I'm also sure that the Enclave did have access to a Tesla Canon before, if you check out the crashed Vertibird n FO:NV there is a Canon right besides a crashed Enclave (due to the Insignia still visible on it) Vertibird. Now that I think about it, what if those Gunners during that Quest found it besides the crashed Vertibird in the glowing Sea?

      I gave it Danse was sitting on couple thousand ammo by time did saugus ironworks. Was fun seeing him use it in power armor. Ammo lasted him long time.

    The first thing I did was find a mod that removed all of it, so the no less than seven new quests didn't bombard me upon leaving the vault.

      That is only issue I had with pack. You shouldn't know all this leaving vault. Maybe read note out in world should trigger quests more lore friendly way.

    Pipe Grenade Launcher probably should get a lower rating, but otherwise no real issues on the grades.
    Wish they'd made stability a priority as the game still tends to glitch out pretty frequently in the next gen update.
    Also I never understood why people don't make more of the boarded up buildings into explorable locations with CC add on. Would allow max specialization of the location to the creators' vision without the constant issue of cross uses for the same locations.

    Just a thing about the pioe grenade launcher, since it has a supressor attachment you can theoretically use it in a stealth build, with max demolitionist expert and rifle man perks it has arround 400 damage, and with the stealth damge perks giving it a 6x damage it comes up to more or less 2400 damage. I like it more than the chinese one for this reason.

    I can see that it's already been said several times at just a glance but you CAN build the Enclave turrets, all different forms of the barricades, storage chests and the communication towers.
    During the final part of the Enclave questline in the glowing sea, the final(?) terminal has entries describing Enclave encampments (East, West and South) which upon reading, will mark them on your map and add the Misc. objective to clear each one. At each one the objective will tell you to first clear the encampment of all forces before telling you to disable the Comms Tower to prevent future spawns.
    Inside each of these encampments (typically next to the terminal in each that describes their field orders) will be a magazine that you can collect which will unlock one of the items for the workshop; obviously needing to clear every encampment and collect all three magazines to unlock all buildable content.
    The turrets come in both regular and heavy laser flavour; literally reskins for the default laser and heavy laser turrets and function the exact same in regards to power requirement, defense value, etc. but it is nice to have a shiny option for say, BOS settlements you want to build. Especially because the default laser turret options look hilariously out of place for a faction like the Brotherhood considering that they're literally a laser pistol stuck in a rotating gun brace.

    The settlers running my weapon stores would sometimes carry all of the ammo types. It wasn't consistent and the amount they had could be a lot or barely any at all.

    The piggy bank launcher does more damage than the base Fatman launcher but it has a smaller area of effect.

    I don't know what they were thinking with the Nail Gun. A low-damage, rapid-fire weapon with practically no way to get enough ammo for a second of continuous fire.

      That can be a problem with most automatics in the game unless you're willing to buy out all the ammo you need from every vendor you meet or have in settlements. They're fun weapons but trying to use them on survival is quite a challenge unless you want half your carrying capacity to be ammo.

    Okay I might be kind of nitpicking here, but if I remember correctly I think if you blow up the brotherhood of steel at the end of broken steel you can find three more Tesla cannons? Maybe the brotherhood started producing them or they had a substitute with some other pre-war design and we can even find Tesla cannons in New Vegas albeit very rarely so maybe the Tesla Cannon is some sort of pre-war prototype or something

    Fair ranking. Loved the video as always!
    Makeshift weapons wise, I think I used all of them once before coming to the Chinese Grenade Launcher realisation and then proceeded to use it almost exclusivly.
    It's a great weapon, feels wierd it took F4 this long to have grenade launchers added but I am pleased they're an option. Plus, I love adding the blast shield to the thing because I love the look of "Gun but give it a shield"

    In my survival playthrough piggy fat man saves my life a lot. First get plans from quest, then buy 2 shot fat man called 'Big Boy' from diamond city and mod with piggy launcher mod. Why this so good in survival mode is mini nukes weight 12kg and piggy ammo 0.3kg, so you can carry 10 or so ammo on you, great for those automaton robot hoards.

    All of the guns can be bought from all gun traders and the ammo you just have to first buy them from suggs and wait for the other traders to respawn their loadout but after they respawn again you will have to buy the ammo from suggs again but if you keep buying the cc ammo all the traders will have the ammo forever

    Settlement weapons dealers level 2 and up sell the new ammo. i accidentally killed suggs during the quest using the grenade launcher cause of how fun it was, and thought i would be fine because “bethesda totally gave at least arturo the new ammo.” i was bummed out when i went to diamond city, but when i checked the inventory of my weapons dealer at abernathy farm, she had 40mm grenade rounds as well as sawblades and nails.

    >> Remnants do have a CC entry, its under a different tab than the first one
    >> Flags, turrets, barricades, crates, etc. can all be built, get the manuals from each of the 3 outposts that get marked after clearing the Atlantic Offices base
    >> If you leave the Comm Tower at each outpost active, the crates will respawn loot
    >> Lots of plasma weapons/ammo, 2 or 3 Tesla cannons, and a ton of Hellfire/X-02 PA

    You are able to get schematics for The Enclave Turrets and Structure items by going to the other Enclave encampments added. You'll also be able to get Enclave Paint Jobs for T-45, T-51, T-60 and X-01

    Generally good additions. I've said it before, but don't try and use the screen-filling tesla cannon, and instead give it to a tesla power armour-wearing provisioner. Such a wonder to watch in action.

    besides the oblivious 15 gigabytes of random stuff we didnt need, its worth noting that thanks to this update, the ba2 limit has been reduced with so much that large modlists are now harder to run without extracting every single archived mod, not a problem for who doesnt mod their game, but still, this whole update was a dick move from bethesda

    2/3 of the new addons are half assed
    you can't repair the PA decapitalist helmet and the obvious issues with the ammo for the makeshift weapons
    like always theres mods to fix that but afik they're on the nexus only

    Yeah...
    I started playing Fallout 4 again to get a feel for the new update and content...then everything about a Bethesda game hit, it kept crashing like it never had crashed before...and I stoped playing...
    ...whats worse, is that I dont play with mods...
    So, thanks for this, I honestly hadn't seen any of this! LOL!
    Also, anything new on the SciFi channel? Im heading there now...

    I have to give the makeshift weapons pack a 3.5 or a 4 out of 5 because the one weapon you can get by killing Suggs " Flakker " is glitched where the nodded Nuka Ammo never spawns in the world. I don't know if any mods have fixed this issue but the game hasn't received another patch to correct the problem

    2:28 Yup, as others have said, you can grab magazines that unlock the barriers, storage containers, and turrets by visiting three Enclave camp locations.
    ** It’s added as a Miscellaneous Quests Objective as soon as you clear one Enclave location directed to by the initial quest. ** 👍🫡
    8:46 I occasionally found some ammo from the makeshift weapons pack at Arturo’s shop, but yeah… it’s a pain in the 🍑 finding any of that stuff in stock.

    I enjoyed this video far more than I enjoyed the "Next Gen Update".
    On a low end PC, this ten year old game STILL crashes so much survival mode is unplayable.
    In fact, since I already had most of the creation club packs, the update retroactively ripped me off. Fallout London?

    7:23 Hub 360 is also a location for many radiant quests, so could it be possible that quests in the Makeshift Weapon Pack are radiant?
    9:14 Wait, shouldn't nail gun already be a silent/suppressed weapon since it uses compress air instead of gunpowder?
    14:43 Quest with skill check bypass in Fallout 4, let alone Creation Club??? No way, automatically 10/5.

      the report of a weapon isn't from using gunpowder, it's a combination of the gases escaping the muzzle and the projectile breaking the sound barrier. suppressors only contain the escaping gases, so regardless of whether the gases are caused by an explosion, or just pressure released from a pneumatic tank, you're going to get an audible report.

      Nail guns are not silent. Open your window when a roofing team is ANYWHERE nearby. I can hear a crew a quarter mile away and two streets over from my house right at this moment. Silent, yeah right, I wish.... Those aren't even fully automatic :)

      ​@@stormcry8202 If the game consider a suppressed 10mm as "silent weapon", then nail gun is definitely "silent". Suppressed firearms can still be heard from miles away IRL.

      @@Theegreygaming Sound wave is pressure wave. And pressure does have a lot to do with how much energy is being put into the gas during its expansion. Guess which one gives you more energy, releasing some compress air from a tank or setting off some energetic materials.
      Look at measurements on firearm loudness, where even a suppressed Glock19 is 20db loader than a compress air nail gun. Therefore, if the game considers putting a suppressor on a 10mm as a "silent weapon", by the same logic a nail gun should also be "silent".

    Makeshift Weapons:
    General
    >> All new ammo types have a chance to spawn in arms/ammo merchant shop inventories, with the 40mm Grenades seeming to have a higher chance than others.
    >> Suggs can be easily found once you finish his quest. After you return to him for the end of When Pigs Fly, go down the alley to the left of his shop. You will see the blue buildings of Kendall Hospital to the Northwest. Go and mark it, then you can fast travel back there and head Southeast between the hospital buildings and through the patio. You will see the alley next to Suggs shop and can find him from there
    Nail Gun
    >> Integrally suppressed, effect gets removed if you upgrade to either Gauss mod
    >> Automatic,, so Commando perk applies
    Baseball Launcher
    >> VATS use heavily recommended, fires more balls in a single VATS attack than what magazine holds. Always ammo positive
    >> Part of the attack on Suggs replays every so often, so you can visit him and find more of the bodyguard enemies. One will have a substantial stack of ammo on his inventory
    >>Reuses the Gatling laser reload animations

    13:24 Huh? Are you misreading the stats? The piggy bank does more damage than the standard launcher. I don't know if it's weaker or stronger than the nuka nuke version but I'm certain that the big boy can attach this piggy launcher modification just like the nuka nuke and the bowling ball version.
    Edit : And don't get me started on you mentioning that the total resistance on X-02 is 50 energy resistance less than X-01 when other creator like Oxhorn stated that X-02 have more overall resistance than X-01.

      I'm just going off the stats that were listed on screen when I was reviewing it's available modifications. also never said X-02 was better. in fact, in my CC armor review I noted that it was a bit strange that the X-02 is worse than the X-01, but there are several comments explaining why that is.

      ​@@Theegreygaming then there is a problem with your side. I don't what made that happens when I look at Sam Bram's power armor tier list he stated by statistics that X-02 is superior in resistance than X-01.

      I agree that The piggy bank does more damage than the standard launcher. To show how good it is, I went to do the overpass with MacCready and a bunch of gunners were shooting at something over the edge so I shot a Piggy at them and they all were dead when I went up there. Btw the piggy mines in Monsignor Plaza regenerate and so do the ones on the stairs near Suggs shop. I have found some of the different creation club ammo appearing at other vendors so do check the ammo list.

    I would have watched the entire video, but false information and insulting your viewers are deal breakers in my book. Unsubscribed, and don't recommend.
