    Love seeing tom say how he can even look like a beginner, I have been there too, nervous making silly mistakes but it's all part of the experience

    Must be nice to fish everywhere like you do . I love flyfishing but can't afford to fish anywhere but my home rivers here in michigan because I am poor. I work hard and am a welder but every month I have just enough to provide for my family so i will never be able to go somewhere like that. You are very blessed to be able to fish the places u you have.

      Michigan is crazy fishy. You can fly fish for bass, trout, steelhead, salmon, pike, musky, on and on.

      John, can appreciate what you've said. We are indeed fortunate to visit places like Patagonia and profile these destinations for all anglers. As some others have stated, you re living in a state with some incredible fishing as well. In fact, we are hoping to shoot some shows in Michigan in 2024. We sincerely hope you have a great fishing season!

      You limit yourself by saying you will never be able to. What if you asked yourself “how can i make this happen”?

    Yes please. Absolutely without a doubt something I must do at some point is fish Patagonia. I’m 45 now and have been saying this since I was a teenager.

    Funny. You wouldn't be surprised if the browns were all dark in those stained spring creeks, but in the main river? Thanks for taking us along.

    I know it’s the guide’s job to be rowing but I almost feel bad how much work it looks like! They must be in great shape doing that all the time. Wonder what the reasons are to not use a trolling motor for that? Maybe it’s not practical but it sure would be a lot less work haha

    Cool...would like to see a map of Patagonia with US states or Canadian provinces put over each section, say like this area is similar to Montana or this area is like high desert WY...maybe not comparable...a book that breaks down each region would be great too.

      It’s funny you say that, because early on stocking programs 100 years ago sourced some browns from Scotland.

    "you'll get over it" 🤣 whatever helps you sleep at night man. I use barbless a lot too, it's not as much of a factor as someone might think. I've noticed the slightly rounded hook points help a lot when going barbless. Keep that rod bent. -CT

    If you need Wi-Fi in a place like that then you don’t deserve to be there.

    • @haydendale9746
      @haydendale9746 Рік тому +2

      Chile had a law in place during the pandemic where all visitors had to “check in” each day to report any symptoms they may have. This was the reason for the WiFi. Without it, it would have been difficult to operate. Now it’s an extra precaution just in case anything serious happens in the backcountry. Most people just turn their phones off and enjoy being back there!
