1933: Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster create Superman. 1938: Superman's first comic is published. 1978: Superman's first movie is premiered. 2025: Superman's comeback to his roots will amaze the world. And all we will look up. Looking for Superman. Looking for hope.
Good stuff. Love Krypto, love the scene of him saving the girl, and the little boy calling his name. Iconic Superman there. For Lois I got the sense that she looked at him like who's the new guy, rather than any interest.
Apparently, this is like 10 years in and not an origin story, so they're already in love, and she knows. I didn't know that while reacting, but the look makes more sense now.
Superman has been around for a couple of years in this movie. Lois knows Clark is Superman and they are a couple. Lex hates Superman. This version of Superman lives in a world where superheroes has been around for many many years. Most of them are working for big companies or governments. You can see Green Lantern, Hawkgirl and Mr. Terrific wearing Maxwell Lord uniforms, as they are working for him. They will probably try to recruit Superman but eventually he'll inspire them to make their own choices.
I've watched a dozen or more of these reactions. And I have not heard anybody else mentioned. The orb in the background looks exactly like the sphere at the end of the flash movie where when he's running through time, it shows all the alternate realities, Batman Superman, I don't think that's something that's attacking the city, I think that's flash.
Interesting. A friend was saying he thinks it might be a Boom tube and it's not attacking the city, but it is a portal to somewhere and the reason he's going slow and talking to lots is because he thinks it's a1 way trip. We will have to see
We don't know that Lois is looking at Clark (the magic of the cutting room). We know that Rachel Brosnham talked to real print journalists to inform her portrayal of Lois Lane.
SO ready for the birth of this DCU! And if Gunn's pulling from the comics, the magical and melding of worlds is a high possibility (i.e. Matt Reeves The Batman). Gunn and Reeves are fantastic Creatives and this can work down the road. But for now, I've all the faith Superman is going to sweep the global movie goers.💙
I'VE WATCHED over 3 dozen "reaction" videos, everyone's asking who is Superman fighting, but no one has mentioned/noticed that in the opening scene, Superman is laying in the center of a huge hand print.....
I'll admit, I had to go back and check. If it is a hand print, it's nice and subtle. I thought it was just the force from the impact in the snow, but it does look like a hand now that I'm looking for it
@@MongoolisMovieShow one thing I finally got after a lot of viewings was he only uses energy to spit blood out because he needs to clear his mouth to whistle..and I’m liking the slightly smaller dog instead of a giant barrel chested white Shepherd for a few reasons..one is that ppl run out and buy whatever they see in movies, and overbreeding of shepherds is already a problem. The other is that the size of the dog makes no difference, and leaves a lot more comic opportunities as well. Superman is “catching” her head because she’s already experienced the explosion and her head is tipping forward, so he’s reaching forward and slowing it down to stop injury.

My favorite version of lois and clark is in my adventures with superman. Shes very bright and hyperactive in that

I got a bit emotional when the kid looks up and calls for superman 😭

It only takes another kryptonian to give Superman a run for his money!!!

I found out after the fact that this isn't an original story, so there is a good chance they are already together.
That was Jonathan with Clark by the house
Ya, I think i said Pa Kent. Same guy

I truly hope you're right.

Nope. All you have to do is look carefully BEFORE he falls..I thought the same thing, but he slams into a featureless plain..
