So glad to see a reactor catch the Superman: The Movie opening credits similarity. One of the things I remember about seeing that movie in the cinema when it premiered was those credits; it's kind of forgotten now, but this was the very first movie which used CGI credits, as opposed to a scroll of simple text, sometimes against an artistically themed background. By the time the opening credit sequence ended, the audience's minds had already collectively exploded at the visuals and how well they went with the John Williams score. There was a lot of ooh ahhh Woahhh!!! going on when those CGI credits kicked in. Truly a groundbreaking film. It was also a pioneer in cameos, with Noelle Neil from the TV series appearing briefly as a train passenger; it happens all the time now, but that quick little cameo was also a first.
Yeah I'm surprised myself no one else noticed that detail I really love it. It also reminded me of doctor who a little bit given the font they used. Also I'm not a reactor lmao in this video I only reacted to this trailer as its probably gonna be a core memory in the future to look back on, I've made videos that's more for my preference to do content wise (for example my Spider-Man 2 videos) but thank you so much!
Unfortunately, Zack Snyder never understood the Man of Steel. He vampirized him with the spirit of Batman, look-a-like demonic possession, and the result was a Superman full of trauma, inner doubts, totally depressive. I don't say if it's good or bad, I say that this was not Superman. Simple, pure, period. David Corenswet will bring back the Superman we always have deserved. The hero we always have needed. The guiding light of hope he always should have been. Look up, ladies and gentlemen. Watch the skies: Superman is back.
My eyes filled up with tears listening to the score and then seeing Krypto. David looks great. By the way, David and Christopher both went to The Juliard School 😊
Yes I knew! He and Christopher both have the physical comedy written perfectly. What I love the most is that David is half Jewish I'm pretty sure which is just like Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, so it feels even more special
So nice to see young people familiar with the source material. I love that you grew up knowing the early superhero tv shows, as well as the Donner films and Christopher Reeve. You're wise to encourage people to be open to other versions of Superman, or any comic book superhero. The comics get this-there have been dozens of iterations of Superman alone. Love the shirt and cape you made. I'm looking forward to James Gunn's take which appears more in-line with what Superman symbolizes and who he is in the comics. You expressed that so well here. Keep looking up!
That's so lovely to hear honestly thank you so much! Superman has always been one of those characters that I've looked up to grown up with aswell as other characters like Spider-Man and The Flash. Just the overall fantastical world and the comics themselves have always been there for me to fill me with joy. And I'm so happy to see a new superman in the right direction
I'm an older lifelong Superman fan and I'm a bit disappointed in what appears to be a poor characterization of Superman. For an alien who doesn't need to breathe he's wheezing awfully heavily, and sadly, Gunn seems determined to exploit the 'Man' over the 'Super'. Plus, the suit looks too thick and heavy, and fits badly, though many people seem to like it.
I can see your points and I can understand how you think that, but I honestly am on board with this idea. Focusing more on the man like you said. For me it shows that he's not exactly perfect and tries his best and I kinda like that, gives us something to relate to for once in superman.
If you’re allegedly a fan, you’d recognize that Superman in this movie looks far more authentic than the recent Snyder interpretation. Superman in the comics has been affected negatively by many hundreds of different things and reasons. If Superman was never affected by stuff, well, that’d make for an awfully boring story..no conflict=no story. Seems like sour grapes just needed some expressing. Congratulations..
@Toxicens1 in your own words tell me whats to like about this superman 2025.Ps if i were you watch 2019 Bright Burn movie before using your word "LIKE".
Listen, I know you're just trying to be negative so I'm not gonna bother persuading you to liking something that you clearly don't. My personal advice is to just learn to appreciate all versions of superman, there's no need to take sides. It's weird you don't like the word "like" but hey what can you do? Btw I like superman
That’s truly Superman....I enjoyed Snyder I really did but this showed us what Superman is supposed to be

@Toxicens1 tell me are you religious or do you go to church 🤔?.
If you are a Superman fan
Seen this comment on other vids..it’s pretty sad actually. No brain behind it, obviously.
James gun messed up not going with Henry Cavill
He didn't "mess up". Move on man
@Toxicens1 once we get a good director for Superman I will move on
Either learn to appreciate both or go away. Don't comment unnecessary negative shit on my channel.
