I remember that too. I was 16. That was a year after Star Wars expanded my world view. I remember sitting in the theatre praying for it to be good, then when the red and gold S burned into the screen I felt relief and certainty that it would not let me down. It did not.
I started off thinking you guys would be cheesy but you proved me wrong. You’re knowledgeable about the character and the DCU in general. Great commentary!
Thank you very much. Both of us love and collect DC Comics. Cali is a huge fan of Neil Gaiman's The Sandman, while I learned to read at age four thanks to my mom, and to Superman, Batman and Marvel's Spider-Man comics.
Christopher Reeve best Superman ever Cavill way way too dark dropped a building on people hello Cavill terrible Clark Kent Superman is hope light goodness lets go this looks really really good My Daughter and I Loved this I cried when I saw Krypto
I agree, but I don't blame Henry. He is just an actor playing a role. Christopher Nolan and David Goyer's Man Of Steel screenplay showed a deep misunderstanding of what Superman is all about. They painted his movie dark and gritty, because that worked for their Dark Knight trilogy. But it worked, because that's what Batman is. Director Zack Snyder finished the dehumanizing process with his video game like violence, and a Man Of Steel who didn't mind his surroundings or cared about the innocent bystanders around him. I should make a video about this. Thanks for writing.
I remember my anticipation at age 17 for Superman the movie my most anticipated film of my entire life. This is up there.
