Well now my parking break has not engaged for years. I need to take a look. Repair shop told me it was to costly to take it apart to fix so I never investigated more. Thanks!
I found this video, then went out to take a look at my malfunctioning parking brake. Sure enough, there was a bit of tree twig, about 4mm thick, bunging up the works. Thank you very much.
I had a debris issue on my XT2 Cub that involved the forward and reverse pedal. Like your situation, grass and dirt had collected along the frame rail near the pedal area. It would interfer with the stop underneath the floor board along the frame to limit reverse speed. This kept the reverse pedal from fully operating. I'll check the area you mentioned here to make sure it is clear. Even though I blow out the area after every mow, these places are hard to reach and stuff can collect. Thanks for your tip. 🚜
