Mine is going up for sale today. I’ll take it out for pictures in a few & ill send you a couple. I did quite a bit of paint correction & it shines like a new penny 😊
Thanks for the video Mark. Something I'll have to consider doing in the future. Thankfully I don't have a throttle cable in my Z3 so I can skip those bushings.
As always, many thanks for another excellent informative video. Z3's can certainly be a contorsion nightmare for us oldsters, who generally don't care for working in extremely tight and uncomfortable conditions and positions. Sometimes you almost have to work upside down, which is no fun. 😃
Working down there is extremely difficult. I literally had to wire mine up with some copper from an upsidedown position with my feet sticking out the top of the car, it went out when I was 50 miles from home. I'm still going on my wire job, bushings still in the glove box. I'm not wanting to fool with ANY of it. 🤣🤣
@@MomentofZed just finished this install and the throttle cable bushing. On this one I found that clipping in the short hook of the spring, pressing rod through left bushing, then line it up with right, push the gas pedal, and it’s easy enough to use fingers to grab the long hook of the spring and put it in position since it affords more torque. Next up changing the whole throttle cable
Great tutorial and thorough explanations as always! Curious if the clutch and brake bushings are coming soon like you hinted at. Are you going to do the clutch pumps and line while you're at it to reduce the number of bleedings you'll have to do?
Thx, I had mine done at “Fields” you’re braver than I .
Braver? Crazier maybe. 😀
This time... nothing to add to my prevoius commentators. Thanks for your new Video !
Thanks for watching!

I wish you good luck!
@@MomentofZed thanks Mark. I’ll need it. I’ve only got six weeks 😬

Lucky you! Thanks for watching!

Yep, why i delayed the other bushings. It may be easier to pull the whole assembly. Working down there is painful! Thanks as always Walter!

@@Gambit22003 dont blame you! Its tough down there!
I need to ask, does your Z3 make a whining noise that increases or decreases with acceleration? Is that a normal thing? If not, what is it??
@@Gambit22003 cant say that mine does. Doesnt sound normal. Does sound hard to diagnose. Noises are tough especially when they don't appear at idle.
I'd be interested in the clutch pedal replacement video because I'm needing that at the moment.
You guys are gonna force me under there again! 😄
appreciate your detailed explanations and dedication to getting clear, well lit cam shots!
Thanks! Not easy down there.
Thanks for all you do, keep on keeping on, brother!! Great Vid!!
Thank you so much! Appreciate it!
I’ve got this memorized like the back of your hand now 😅
@gregm7508 there's lots of my back hands in most of my videos!

@gregm7508 good technique! Wish you luck with the cable!
Sent some pics & a list of repairs. It’s been quite the project! The pics were taken with my iPhone, so I have no idea what format they are 🤷♀️
Look forward to seeing them!

Probably but don't hold me to it!
