@@UltimateBucketList Yeah, I am really looking forward when traveling from Poland to UK is easier after COVID. As I sad in the Islay video, I would like to combine some hiking with whisky-tasting. Hiking through all the Highlands would be very challenging... but when traveling to Islay I pass by in Glasgow, and there I can hike the West Highland Trail until GlenGoyne. And in the Lowlands around Glasgow are also plenty of distilleries.
@@Flurb_Xray Yeah that's a cool plan. If you're in Glasgow (which you'll need to drive past in order to get to West Scotland), I highly recommend the tour at Auchentoshan and Glasgow Distillery co. Really good!

Nice fly-by of the scotch whisky trail ninh! I actually work in the scotch whisky industry up in speyside, it's ridiculous how packed it is with distilleries up there. Thanks for your comment! Wow, it's funny that you mention that you work for the Whisky Trail - I was planning to come back next week / the week after to complete some of the ones I didn't do. I'd love special access to some of these distilleries - do you have any ideas on how to do that?
@@UltimateBucketList You're welcome, I enjoy the channel! It depends what kind of "special access" you want to get. I get special access to them for my job but that's based on the distilleries themselves asking me to come in for specific things to work on, although we do sometimes go just to have a look at things we're interested in learning about! The most obvious and sensible way I could think of to do it would just be to call up the distillery (probably just the visitor's centre but if you can directly call the manager try that) in advance and mention your channel (no. of subscribers, how long you've been going, the purpose of your videos etc.) and mention that you want to give the scotch whisky industry and their distillery in particular some exposure on your channel by filming some of the equipment/processes/people. You'll likely have to follow some guidelines with regard to what equipment you use and where and also COVID restrictions will probably make it trickier than normal and may cause some distilleries to just turn you away. I would think you'll have more luck with the smaller, less well known and independently owned distilleries (e.g. ballindalloch, benromach, Glen moray, Glenallachie, Glenfarclas) but try as many as you can since some will be more in favour of it than others.
