  • This video is to remember Cassie Bernall, she was killed on April 20, 1999 in Columbine, CO. I do not own the rights to this video, but the purpose of this is to tell a message of hope to all the young people in this world. "All of us should live life so as to be able to face eternity at anytime."

I wonder where she would be today? I know she would be a great woman and a leader to younger teens cause she already is.

My daughter met cassie once, as did I. We knew her very briefly. These videos help me complete the sentence, "what those girls who said yes at Columbine"
I hope my children will love Jesus as much as I know Cassie and Rachel did.

what a gorgeous girl. its hauntingly bittersweet watching the video clip of her talking, so vibrant so alive just beautiful, only to realize that 2 days later she was dead. its impossible to believe looking at her there that a week later shed be in her grave. watching her one almost feels like they want to reach out and say dont go to school on tuesday...its a really odd feeling...bittersweet and i feel odd for getting teary over someone i never met. i also cant believe its approaching 10 years.

R.I.P Cassie, you are a true inspiration. Having to die that way is not fair, but you died in Gods name. Thank you for standing up for what you believe in. May you rest in Heaven for Eternity. :)

    I read Misty Bernall's (Cassie's mother's)
book She Said Yes in the summer of 2000.
Even if Cassie wasn't asked by her killer if she believed in God, she lived out her faith at school, at church and during her spare time. For those interested in finding out more about Cassie, especially about her life before she was saved and about her struggle to become more like Jesus, I recommend that book.

it's terribly ironic how in the video that was made two days before her death she was talking about christ.. and then two lunatics come and kill her.. god bless her.. may he protect her for putting so much faith in him.

This girl. this book. it inspired me so much. now i think it would be the coolest thing to die standing up for Christ. and i think its weird how it took Cassie's death, for me to realize such a thing.

Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold commited suicide the same day, in the library at about 12:08 pm. and it has been widely disputed about whether or not Cassie was actually asked that question by Eric. however, either way it certainly is a tragedy. and the book "She Said Yes" is definitely worth reading. I also recommend "Columbine" by Dave Cullen.

thats really true and i thank you for saying that. that needed to be said. i would have said yes because imagine denying it and living on knowing that you did not have enough courage to stand up for what you believed in. i couldnt live with myself knowing that i denyed my God and haveing to live with that.

The book what I read here is:
"I am full of hate and I love"
    What it is:
A chronicle of the fierce anger, the German journalist Joachim Gaertner gathered. Almost uncommented line with the original documents it in small bites together. His book I am full of hatred - and I love the evolution of frustrated young people to the bombers. emergency call center of 20 April 1999: "He is in the library," whispers a teacher. "He shoots at all. (Schüsse. screams. Laughter. Shots)."

Actually no one knows if she really was asked if she believed in God or not. Different witnesses said different things. Sad that she died, but it's not for sure about the "she said yes" thing.

I believe that she was very strong to her faith and that people need to believe this story, that she said yes to him in the library, especially her parents are comforted by it Im sure. I do not think she said yes, I don't think she was even asked that question sadly, she was shot under the table the same as the others, and Im sorry for that, I do not mean to start anything, but everybody else that died that day are just as special

is the girl at 1:42 the emo kid that she hung out with that was a bad influence?
