Man, People sleep on Chevelle. I always thought they mastered their craft early on and never strayed.

I say this all the time. So underrated it's criminal.
Hugely underrated band right here fellas. Seen em live a number of times and they deliver. One of their biggest musical influences was Tool and it shines through magnificently on this track. This was a big hit for them when it dropped (also their first hit). Also an anthem for perpetually angry people like me.
Censor is the song that I feel shines their Tool influence!
The Meddler has a massive Filter sound!
I think they had toured with Tool and Filter before the Hats Off to the Bull album. Might be wrong about that, but I heard that somewhere.

Guess that's why I identified so much with the Incredible Hulk as a kid.
Their first album came out in 1999 and they've been making consistently great music for over 20 years. There are a lot of great suggestions already. One of my favorite things about them is that they started off as three brothers making music together.
Chevelle!!! Definitely in my top 3!! So many songs you guys should do "An Island" "Choking Game" "Forfeit" "Sleep Apnea" "Shameful Metaphors" man, my list could just go on and on. Love this band!! 🤘❤
An Island is tops for me. Family System is a close second, then Closure. Literally every other song takes fourth place. My favourite band by a mile and a half.

I love some Chevelle! For more songs by them that I don’t think were played on the radio I would recommend Closure, Rivers and Comfortable Liar.
Closure is epic for sure, one of my fav songs.

Yay Chevelle!!!!! They are one of my favorites. Not many people react to them so I got excited.
This is a staple of any live Chevelle performance. I've seen them live 4 times and they are the best! Tool, Chevelle and Korn forever!

I'm a huge tool head since the beginning so I've really enjoyed watching you guys fall in love with that band. Just so you know. You guys should explore some iron maiden some danzig and some soundgarden to name a few.

My favorite chevelle song,........ all of them!
They’ve got so many good songs. They’re not gonna blow you away with solos and tremendous drumming like in Tool and Panthera, but they are awesome. I would consider them Nu metal, they came out around the time of Korn, Mudvayne, Slipknot, etc and have been going for a long time. I believe they’re still together. I’ve seem them live a couple times and they put on a great show. The Clincher, Comfortable Liar, Hats of to the Bull, Send the Pain Below. Chances are you’ve heard several of their songs and don’t know it.

This makes my soul happy! This song actually came out when I was in high school. You know, the angst years. Lol! So I loved it and even to this day I still play this song when I'm having a bad day. As for other big songs by Chevelle, there was Send The Pain Below, Vitamin R, I Get It, The Fad, and a few others.
And now I'm going to move on to the portion where I make a couple of band/song suggestions: either The Heart Collector or This Godless Endeavor by Nevermore and either Paradise Lost or Iconoclast by Symphony X. You guys are awesome and a lot of fun to watch so keep doing what you're doing and I hope you both have an amazing day!

Honestly guys, I'm mostly a Tool Tuesday kinda guy, but this song has been near and dear to my heart since 9th grade, so thank you for doing this! In the future if you want more trippy songs like tool, might I suggest Mogwai and Godspeed You! black Emperor for bands, songs are "I am Jim Morrison, I am Dead" and "Blaise Bailey Finnegan III" respectively. LOVE YALL!!!

Chevelle was started by the Loefler brothers of Chicago in 1995. The Chevy Chevelle is their dad's favorite car. They released their first album in 1999, "Point #1". It was very Grunge heavy and had a couple music videos in claymation, kinda like Tool. I'd classify Chevelle as Hard Rock, Alternative Metal and Post-Grunge.
Try out their songs Open/Point #1, Mia, Family System, Comfortable Liar, Vitamin R, Another Know it All, Jars, Shameful Metaphors, Roswell's Spell.... I could keep going but you'll start to hate me. One more suggestion because it's an over looked gem: Clones, from their album Hats Off to the Bull.

So, the main two guys in Chevelle are the lead singer and the drummer, who are brothers. They named the band Chevelle after their dad's favorite car.
This song brings back so many memories and emotions back when I heavily dealt with anger problems every day was a suicidal battle with myself every time my anger broke loose, wanting to kill myself after every break out. Now I just wanna cry when I hear this band, it brings back Soo many emotions. I struggled with anger since I was 5-15. I still sometimes break out with anger but nothing like what I used to go through at least now I can somewhat barely function in the world, I'm pretty sure my mental problems Happen to come from my mom doing drugs while she was pregnant and abuse and a dad that had uncontrollable anger that is related to my mental health issues, I started living with my grandma at the age of 10, I will always love my grandma for being with me through all that and saving me from my parents. Anger problems are wayy more than the individual, sometimes it's almost incurable.

Seeing red means when you go in total rage, you actually start seeing red a little bc your eye's blood vessels swell. Hence why he walked into anger management. This song is so dank!

As a kid I always heard some MJK in his vocals. I’d call it numetal.
I always put Chevelle under the "Hard Rock" blanket, which is stuff that gets heavy like metal but the singer does more singing than screaming (like the difference between Slipknot and Stone Sour). The singer of Chevelle, Pete Loeffler, can still scream his ass off when he wants to though, the breakdown in the song "Emotional Drought" has him sounding like he's trying to scream the vocal chords out of his body and it's awesome.
You would have to be living under a big rock to have not heard the red before. It was everywhere

I have been a hardcore fan of Tool since I 1st heard them in 1992. I've seen all three of Maynard's bands live at least a half a dozen times each . Chevelle also puts on an excellent show, makes great music that I can hear was maybe a little inspired by a band like TOOL. They are great! Please keep doing Chevelle and please do some more perfect circle because the new Perfect Circle album, just like all the others are excellent just like all the Tool albums and all of the Puscifer albums they're all great in their own way. I hope you guys continue doing what you're doing I think you're doing an excellent job and I'm glad to be able to sit back and watch you guys experience what I experienced!

Chevelle has been my fav band since 2002 - you made one guy real happy today. They have a great discography, tho the music videos are admittedly, pretty low-bar.
The red is rage;every time I got into a fight in school as a kid everything else melted away,and a red haze would drop over my sight. Nothing else mattered to me except for hurting my antagonist.
