Awesome video, I am shipping my daughters ball python from the west coast to the east coast, and was stressing out on how to do it, your video answered ALL my questions. Thank you.
As someone who experienced a corn snake defecating in a snake bag (not a long trip- only for approx. thirty minutes when going to and from a program at the zoo I used to volunteer at) IT. IS. NOT. FUN. Whoever reads this- trust me. You don't want a snake to poop in their travel container. It's not pleasant for the animal and it's not pleasant when you open the snake bag either. Also- Hunter didn't mention this- if using a deli cup or other similar container, I'd suggest lining the bottom with paper towel or newspaper. That was zoo policy for any non-bagged transports, and it always made clean-up way easier and more comfortable for the animals.
Yikes, I bet that wasn’t a pleasant smell! 😬 Yeah, making a nest of paper towel in the deli cup is definitely an important step. I showed it in the video, but I don’t think i verbally mentioned it.
You are so underated you are making a amazing job with teach how to take care of reptiles 😊
Agreed!

@@HunterHouck nope. Not pleasant at all. No reptile (or animal I've worked with) smells as bad as a bearded dragon though, those lizards reek!
Is it normal for the shipments to cause $200? I am so lost because when I buy an animal it the shipping fee is only $50 dollars.
all the UPS & Fed Ex shops near us refused to accept a live animal… check in advance.
