How to adjust the door alignment on the Vermont Castings Defiant model 1975 and Encore FlexBurn model 2040.

My doors both seem really low. The top pin keeps falling out. This is the right video I’m looking for, but the stove needs to be older and more messed up for it to be really helpful

Okay, my question is......... how to get the door back on, we changed the gasket that goes around the glass. The instructions said to take the door off, now we can't get the door back on, the pins slip out. What is the technique for getting the door back onto the stove. TIA

This gentleman could barely loosen on top bolt , shut the doors and align them perfectly in the shut position. Then he could open the doors and tighten the bolt. Oh well. He likes the 'hit & miss' technique.

I have watched this video and it is not what everyone expected. door alignment is not the issue. the hinge pins do not stay in place. If you loosen the retainer to align the door the pins drop down and the door falls off. Either show door replacement and hinge pin adjustment method or have a download on your site with those instructions. My stove is brand new and doors will not stay on.
