Yes the prices did seem high although that white milk glass banana bowl was beautiful and that was a still of a deal yes I'm totally into milk glass right now I buy it every chance I get.
Yes on Milkglass. I love the white and clear pieces. It always goes with Any season or decor. It can be dressed up. It's already picked up in price. I bought a whole table top full of milkglass pcs over 10yrs ago for $8 at an auction. I picked out what I wanted. Took some pcs to my booth. Sold some at a yard sale I was having in a couple weeks. Made $. packed the rest up. They are in 2 banana boxes. I will be digging them out this spring. I've been on a 6yr break from my selling while I cared for my Momma. I am trying to pick up and move forward after her passing last August. Enjoying shopping with you 🌻
I think milk glass is a classic decor piece and can fit in to so many genres of decorating. I have a big collection and utilize different pieces for different seasons and entertaining. Milk glass is very versatile and lovely.
I love milk glass and it is still all over the shabby chic country home stylings. Any antique store you go into that tries to be Joanna Gaines has it everywhere. I like how it pops against almost any background.

I love milk glass. I started collecting milk glass a little over a year ago. I currently have about 20,pieces in my collection. I get excited when I find a piece in a thrift store.
I think buying the unique pieces is what I will do. There are people that still love a beautiful piece of milk glass. I’m happy I bought it. Thank you for watching, Amy! 🥰
@@KeebysCollectibles I thought milk glass would have taken off more in the advent of grey white and marbled kitchens that we have been experiencing in the past 5-10 years. Well heres to hoping🤞
I think milk glass is just a great classic. Even if you don't have a whole collection, it's easy to work a couple pieces into so many different decor styles. I love hobnail milk glass.
I have some milk glass but have not purchased any for a number of years. I still like it and use it and am now motivated to look for some again, something more unusual.
I think Goodwin has forgotten that all they are sale are donated items. I think some of the pricing on somethings were ok , but some were crazy. So you take the bad with the good.
I LIVE for milk glass. Luckily it is at an all time low in value...so I've been able to pick up over 400 pieces in the past 18 months. I'm so lucky! I'll be showing everything soon...
Pricing is ridiculous. In 2015 the CEO of goodwill was reported to have made close to $800 million. He’s since re-structured to more easily hide the money. It is suggested that re-sellers have also affected the increase in prices, high enough to kill the profit margin for resellers and only appeal to personal collectors. This is sad because I have witnessed truly financially unfortunate people who now cannot afford Goodwill. Doesn’t seem right. However, it’s simultaneously a relief that resellers are there to save things from the bins or being chipped, and cracked by irresponsible, rough shoppers.🤡
Hey, Beth! When I saw that doll, my heart started beating fast. I couldn’t believe it was just sitting on the shelf. I figured it would be empty. This one is definitely going in my Christmas display. Thank you for watching! 🥰🥰
I buy Westmoreland ring and petal when I find it,mostly milk glass but other colors as well. I began my love for some Westmoreland when we toured the factory in 1981. I rarely find ring and petal anywhere but Irvin Pa.near where it was made.
Some very nice finds! I do purchase milk glass especially the Fenton silver crest. Just says winter to me. I have the milk glass olive tray (9:06) and use it as a pencil tray in front of my computer. Add a touch of elegance to every day chores.
I usually buy puzzles if they are still factory sealed. Milk glass will always be collected. I always pick it up if it's name brand. That banana boat was wonderful. I would have snatched it right up. Another great video.
Thank you, Aaron. I don’t find many sealed puzzles but when I do they are not my style or have too many pieces. One day I’m just going to take the plunge and buy the puzzle that I want from Goodwill and see what happens but until then, I don’t know.lol. Thank you for watching! 🥰🥰

Wow, there were so many nice things. The prices seem good to me. The Goodwills in my area are a little higher and don't have near as many item in quality or quantity. I go for fun, looking for thing that are older than me. I have found milk glass at the local flea market. If it strikes me as pretty, I'll get it, it's just not out there much anymore.
Lots of great things. I think the milk glass caddy was for crackers. That’s what I’d use it for. I have some milk glass items & I do pick it up when it’s something I like. I don’t care what’s trendy. Some things a bit spends there but others ok in price. Loved that duck. Good video.
I like using some milk glass pieces for my plants. If the price is reasonable, l will buy them and put a little ivory or succulents for gifts as well. As far as the prices at the goodwill, they have definitely gone up the past couple of years. Some prices as very fair and then other things are for sure over priced. They ignore that alot of people cannot afford regular storage prices and go to goodwill and salvation armies so they can find nice things for their homes too. Now, people on a slim budget can't do it anymore.
I’m a milk glass fan (as well as Avon). I sell them both in my Booth, but they move slowly. I hope they will make a comeback. 😍 I love orange, my favorite color actually. Funny how we all like different things. What is your favorite color, Pam? Thank you from Texas. 🥰
Hey Linda! Right now I’d say my favorite color is blue. The deep midnight blues and smokey blues. I use those colors a lot in my home and they seem so warm and cozy. By the way…I love Texas and Buc-ees! 🥰🥰
I agree about the doll and I would have paid up for it anyway. Some of the prices in this store are definitely higher than what they should be. They won’t price anything lower than $1.95. Even if the item is from Dollar tree. 🥰🥰
Again so jealous of your Goodwill! I am looking for Wexford pieces bc my grandparents had it. Also heck yes on the milk glass! I wish I was close to you, I would SO buy that from you! White is classic and goes with everything.
I think that’s a good idea with any collection. I’m downsizing my numerous collections. I don’t need to collect everything just because I got it for a good price! Lol! Thank you for watching, Bobbi! 🥰
So many beautiful things. Your thrift store is significantly priced less then mine. The milk glass banana basket would have been priced for 24.99 if it was at one of mine. I know a lot of people don’t like milk glass but I love it to add to my decor. Sadly don’t see much other then vases at my thrift but recently found a sugar and creamer! I think the second piece of milk glass could be used to hold crackers??
Hi, Pam 👋 I have sold that exact doric lace piece and I’ve sold many other unique milk glass. I think the more rare/unique are still sought after. I think someone else already suggested that the other milk glass was for crackers. I agree! I also would have grabbed that. I’ve never seen one! The prices are a bit higher but not bad. I’ve seen crazy. Good stuff there today! Thanks for the shipping trip! 🤗💕
Hi Amy! I agree with you that the more unique the piece is the more it is desirable. I am going to keep picking up those milk glass pieces that are different. I wish I would have bought that other milk glass piece but it is one of those regrets. Thank you so much for watching!🥰😘
You are right about goodwill prices going up and up! I went in there the last week(last time I'll ever goto a goodwill or donate). But they wanted $200 for a camping tent!! I'm in Maryland
Hi Pam. Great video as always!😁 The best were the Matryoshka dolls. Those are probably the cutest ones I have ever seen!😍 Glad you bought the Westmoreland piece. Maybe the other piece was a spooner of some kind? I don't buy much milk glass to re sell but any piece I list gets sold. There are many lovers of milk glass especially older, unusual, quality pieces like the ones you showed. I guess it's kind of like the clear glass. ❤️✨
Another fun shopping trip. Thank you. The prices at your store do seem high on some items. The Goodwills in the Pittsburgh, PA area have set pricing. Dishes and glassware, and utensils are .99. Most other items, except art are $2.99, although they do mark up if they think something has value. I have mixed feelings about this system, because there are some items that aren't worth $2.99, but the pricing system doesn't allow for them to mark items down rather than up.
Love the nesting dolls. I would have picked up that percolator just for the aesthetic! It could be cleaned and used as a teapot! I too thought those prices were high for the lower end items, but not for what you purchased. Sometimes I wonder what GW is thinking....🤔
I do buy puzzles at my Goodwill. They only charge 99 cents per puzzle, so there's not a huge risk. So far, all my puzzle purchases have had all their pieces! We just did a 2000 piece vintage Coca Cola ad collage puzzle. It was a fun family project over the holidays, but you're right....it is a huge commitment! Waving at you from Myrtle Beach!!
We got snow tonight, Joan! ❄️❄️ Yeah, I love sticking to the 300 to 500 pieces. My husband will sit down and help a little but I’m the main one working on the puzzle so I keep it short. I hope you got some snow!❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
Love the Christmas mug, I think the long milk glass piece could have been used for crackers. I loved it. Would have bought thee candy dish. Beautiful Russian doll. There are still milk glass lovers around. Love your channel Pam.
I think Goodwill’s pricing is reflective of their knowledge that people are buying for resale and want to get their share of profit. They seem to have forgotten that their product costs them nothing thus everything is profit. For example when I taught first grade over 8 years ago, for Mother’s Day I would go buy vintage tea cups at Goodwill for 25 cents each for each of my students to plant a flower in to give as a gift to their mothers. Those same tea cups are now at least $1.00 each or more. It is safe to say that Goodwill has lost sight of their initial vision and has become part of corporate America.
Wow Pam so many nice things in that store, I’ve always liked milk glass it’s timeless in my opinion and that banana boat was exquisite. I really liked the vintage recipe box with lots of great recipes, thanks for the great video.
Thanks, Kelly! I was surprised that there were so many great things in this store today. Usually I have to shop Goodwill two times per week to get one video but this was all in one trip for today’s video. Thank you so much for watching! 🥰🥰
I collect milk glass. I am amazed that it has not made a comeback since for a while white was so in especially in farmhouse decor..lots of people were only decorating with white and milk glass would have fit in beautifully.
I like milk glass I think it depends on the piece and you found 2 pretty pieces . But then again I don't go by what other people like , I go by what I like . And I would have picked up the 2 pieces you found . I do feel that SA has gone up in price . But most of the thrift store have .
Hey Kathy, I wish I would have picked up the smaller piece. It was so pretty and had a shiny glaze on it. Maybe I will find another one some day. Thank you for watching! 🥰🥰
I buy and decorate with milk glass, but I only pick up at garage sales or thrift stores. I see pieces in antique malls but just can’t bring myself to pay the higher prices.
I bet they are, Lori. Do you find lots of pottery where you are from? I watch Laura Caldwell and she finds some amazing things out there. Thank you for watching! 🥰
Thank you, Susie! I show the prices because when I am editing the video I can barely read them myself so I know anyone watching would have a hard time seeing the prices as well. I’m glad you like that part of the video. Thank you for watching! 🥰🥰
I will say that for us New Yorkers those prices are dirt cheap. I would love if our thrift shops were as cheap as yours. If you ever get the chance to shop at any New York thrift stores, trust and believe me that you’ll appreciate your stores lol.
I can definitely believe that. The cost of living in New York is much higher than where I am in SC. You are right, I’d probably cry if I shopped NY prices. Lol! 🥰🥰Thanks for watching, longbranch11207!
So many pretties! I’m surprised the matryoshka didn’t have a smaller baby. Loved the transfer mug, too. I like the stuff in the box! Don’t know why, but I’m not a fan of milk glass. I did like the cracker server elephant, though, maybe because it had a use other than decorative. I wouldn’t buy a puzzle unless it was still wrapped or it was being used for crafting. I visited Wexford. It was interesting watching them cut the glass. There’s a big box for mistakes.
Hey Midge! That’s so cool that you visited Wexford. We would be amazed at all of the things that are discarded in factories and warehouses. Thank you so much for watching! 🥰
Hi Nina! Hobnail is hands down my favorite. It give me a feeling of “the past” that I love. Milk glass definitely makes beautiful winter displays. Thank you for watching! 🥰
Goodwill, and all thrift stores in general, have increased prices. And, it has taken some of the fun out of the thrifting experience for me. Inflation I suppose. 😔 No thrift store puzzles unless box has never been opened.
I agree, K. The price increase makes me more selective with my purchases. Do you watch Nicole Northgarden? She sets a price in her mind about how much she’s willing to pay for an item and she’s really good about sticking to it. Thank you for watching🥰!!
I definitely like going to the smaller thrift stores in my area, too, Robin. I always make my personal donations to the smaller thrift stores in my area instead of Goodwill. Thank you for watching! 🥰
I bought a Buffalo brand and I like the larger pieces. We have a weather day off of school tomorrow so I’ll start that one. It’s only 300 pieces so it will go quick. Like I said, no long term commitments!
I think some of the prices you posted are high and there didn't seem to be any consistency. Some mugs were 2.95 and others were higher. As to puzzles, I always buy and rarely are they missing pieces.
The fact that "white farmhouse" decor is so popular leads me to think, young people don't know about milk glass. Its seems so many of the young are impressed with the "new" without understanding the value of the "old". 🙃
Some prices were ok but most were to much for second hand stuff Goodwill doesn't have to pay for and will crush what stays on the shelf to long. They have different color stickers so they know what to move out when. Goodwill is supposed to be helpful for lower income people and so many of their prices aren't helpful.
aka MIDGE. If Goodwill] prices keep going up, people will not be buying as much, or not at all, there. Then,, the landfills will be overwhelmed. What a shame! There are lots of people who shop these thrift stores because they can't afford much else.
I agree Midge. Thankfully, some of the other Goodwill stores where I live are not as expensive. I wonder if they have to meet a quota at the end of the month. Thanks for watching!🥰🥰
I personally don't like milk glass. I do like clear glass in that it's useful for all holidays and seasons. I think the mugs were way overpriced! Goodwill needs to reminded that the community provides their products for Free. Greedy, greedy ill will! I no longer shop there, because of this.
I’m coming around to clear glass. I have always though it was boring but you are right in that it can blend in with any color you are using in your home. It’s versatile. Thank you for watching, Mikki! 🥰
I still buy milk glass and use it to decorate my home I always find them at thrift stores

Love the Christmas mug, I think the long milk glass piece could have been used for crackers. I loved it. Would have bought thee candy dish. Beautiful Russian doll. There are still milk glass lovers around. Love your channel Pam.
Thank you, Fay. I wish I would have picked up the long milk glass piece. It could have so many uses. Thank you so much for watching my channel! 🥰
I’ve purchased tea cups for my first graders to give their moms for our Mother’s Day Tea also! Yes, the prices are not what they used to be!
I think it will have its day again. It’s all about what decor style is trending. I think milk glass is so pretty. Thank you for watching, Angie!! 🥰
Love it all milk glass comes and goes great to winter decorate sells good during winter months I also have two chihuahuas lol
I love my chihuahuas. They are the best pets and are so loyal. Thank you for watching, Nanette! 🥰
I agree the antique store prices are high but I understand why. I do love those thrift store prices. ❤️
What a great selection at that store. The blue glass canister and S&P napkin rings caught my eye! 😳
Hey Celeste! Weren’t those napkin rings the coolest? 🥰🥰
I saw the milk glass piece in an antique mall in Aiken for $39.00
The here is western Washington the prices are ridiculous. Enjoy your videos.
I bet they are, Lori. Do you find lots of pottery where you are from? I watch Laura Caldwell and she finds some amazing things out there. Thank you for watching! 🥰
I have the exact pink fluted bowl in my home.
It was so pretty, too! Thank you for watching, Sandra! 🥰
Some thrift stores actually count the puzzle pieces to be sure there are none missing. You might want to ask.
Good idea, John! Thank you for watching! 🥰
New to your videos, I have subscribe so I won't miss any videos. I like how you display the prices.
Thank you, Susie! I show the prices because when I am editing the video I can barely read them myself so I know anyone watching would have a hard time seeing the prices as well. I’m glad you like that part of the video. Thank you for watching! 🥰🥰
I would have gotten the recipe box!🤗
And then you would have made the marshmallow recipe for me, right? Lol! 🍦🤪🥰
I love milk glass, but I don't see it at my Goodwill very often.
I don’t see unique pieces like this. I couldn’t leave this one behind! Thank you for watching, beatleowl! 🥰🥰
Milk glass is coming back especially if painted
Thank you for watching, Marianne! 🥰
Personally I collect and display hobnail milk glass, I think it will make a comeback in the future.
No thrift store puzzles unless box has never been opened.
I agree, K. The price increase makes me more selective with my purchases. Do you watch Nicole Northgarden? She sets a price in her mind about how much she’s willing to pay for an item and she’s really good about sticking to it. Thank you for watching🥰!!
Happy Friday!👍👍👍👍
Happy Friday, Laura!! 🥰🥰
GWs prices have gone way up! I shop at the smaller private thrift stores in myarea!
I definitely like going to the smaller thrift stores in my area, too, Robin. I always make my personal donations to the smaller thrift stores in my area instead of Goodwill. Thank you for watching! 🥰
Hi Pam, I think everything was about $1.00 over priced according to our Goodwills here in Ohio.
Yes, at least $1 overpriced. Thank you for watching! 🥰
I collect milk glass ❤️❤️
It’s so pretty, isn’t it? Thank you for watching! 🥰
I buy Springbok for my oldest daughter. On eBay, they can be expensive
I bought a Buffalo brand and I like the larger pieces. We have a weather day off of school tomorrow so I’ll start that one. It’s only 300 pieces so it will go quick. Like I said, no long term commitments!
What goes around comes around. Milk glass will
It’s so pretty. I hope it will. ☺️
Hi keeby
Hi Lena! Thanks for shopping along with me today!🥰🥰
Sorry to say but goodwill has went up on their prices. Indianapolis,Indiana
The milk glass retangle piece, I think, is for crackers
Yes, someone mentioned crackers and then someone else said olives. I didn’t think of either of those. I could see both! Thanks for watching, Fay! 🥰🥰
Was your nesting doll hand painted? There is a higher resale value with those?.....
I don’t know. It doesn’t have any markings or stickers on the bottom either. I won’t be selling it though. It’s now the largest size that I have. 🥰🥰
I think some of the prices you posted are high and there didn't seem to be any consistency. Some mugs were 2.95 and others were higher.
As to puzzles, I always buy and rarely are they missing pieces.
That’s good to know. I keep looking hoping I’ll find one I like.🥰
Some of those prices were high!
I agree, Lisa! Some prices were good but some things were too high. I am becoming more selective with what I bring home! Thank you for watching!
The fact that "white farmhouse" decor is so popular leads me to think, young people don't know about milk glass. Its seems so many of the young are impressed with the "new" without understanding the value of the "old". 🙃
Hopefully in time the younger generation will understand. Do you ever watch The Repair Shop? It’s a show all about restoring family heirlooms.
@@KeebysCollectibles I haven't but I'll check it out!
Collector here
Hi Martha! 🥰🥰
Where minimum wage has gone up, they have to raise the prices every where.
Definitely seems to expensive to me
Well maybe just some of the things were a bit over priced but if I like it I’m buying it lol
I agree with you, Brenda. I will pay up for things that I will keep for myself! 🥰
Yes! Thank you for watching, Brenda!
Quality work pal. I think you will be interested in Promo-SM!!!
