When you hold it in the sun the image is bleached of all shadow. Better not in direct sun.

I found the first ash tray you pulled out at the Bins last week paid 38 cents for it.

I've found a lot. I buy it when I see it. The woman across the street buys it from me for her daughter. I sell it to her cheap. Our Bins only charges 19 cents a pound for all glassware. Your mother in law had some great pieces.

Patti, I found out the pineapple piece is a stand for either a punch bowl or cake plate. Cindy said her mom had a plate that went with it. We are still searching for that. Stay tuned more to come.

Please do not pick up the baskets by the handles…the places where the glass makers attach the handles are weak spots and can break off. Thank you.

Should a person store glassware in newspaper? Did the ink from the paper come off on it?

It is not the best way to store it for sure but it is the cheap easy way for most people. We did have to wash off a lot of ink residue from the collection but it was fairly easy to do fortunately.
