Record-breaking travel expected for 4th of July

- AAA is predicting nearly 71 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more during the nine-day travel period around the 4th of July, which is up 5% from last year. Among the top destinations are London, Rome, Alaska, Hawaii and Anaheim, California.

Wasn't last year's July 4th also forecasted to be record-setting? It seems like this is the case every major holiday nowadays. Why is this?
Our population is still growing.
How do people have money to travel like this unless it's all debt.

They better send the national guard to all major cities!

🌞🌪 Umm, “the weather is supposed to be better in Alaska“? Is that because temperatures are much warmer, which is melting ice that has been around for hundreds of years or thousands of years? Hey, climate change may be wrecking the world by causing hurricanes and tornadoes and rising sea levels and hurting crops and huge heat waves, but it does make an Alaskan cruise very nice. Good way to always find the silver lining.
