Literally our first game we played against not one, not two, but three spinbotters.. Even tho we made sure to report them at the start of every round, hoping the match would be cancelled like some clips I've seen on twitter, apparently VAC 2.0 didn't think it was suspicious at all that someone would be 24/0 after 6 rounds..
They have to fight the closet cheaters somehow too, overwatch will probably sort all the semi legit/rage cheaters but what about the closet ones that a normal player can't distinguish from a clean player?
Yesterdays update was small too but it fixed like four things that were bugs I noticed. One of them existed since the start of the game. Thank you valve
Technically a neural net could learn to spot any motion or behaviour a player makes to information that is not visible or audible. Even the slightest cross hair move. Over time you would reach a threshold where it is statistically almost impossible for the player to have behaved like this by chance. With a deep neural network, possibly even used a chatgpt style token system, it should be possible to make a very accurate wall hack or radar detector. That might even learn the deeper context and impact of wallhacks. The only way round it would be for cheaters to behave exactly as if they don't have a wallhacks - over their entire history of play. Seems possible, when you look at what Sora is capable of now.
You physically can't monitor and learn from each and every mouse-stroke each and every player does unless you shift out the analyzing part to the client. Also the AI only sees as legit what it has seen, every not caught "legit-hacker" will distort the image of a clean player to the AI.
@@peekachugaming3231 Valve have enough money to pay thousands of people to play with legit hacks on their own private servers and use that as fine tuning data. @@peekachugaming3231You might misunderstand. This isn't a live process. Valve already has the demo data of every match. They train the networks on that data, it having been tagged (by trusted partners), as legit or not. Once trained you can analyse demos on every account and see who was hacking. Using transformer neural networks like gpt, I find it very believable that this is possible. It's not client side.
I'm gonna be honest, I despise the match cancel thing both here and in Valorant. Imagine if it's your last game before you need to hop off or something and it gets cancelled half way through and you get nothing from it. Just reward the other team with something god damn it, not only would it be less annoying, it would also discourage cheaters because they know they will help you out if they decide to toggle

Hopefully thanks to the newest VACWAVE the player base of clean players can return to make this game take off again. Keep up the good work you do Maxim. Cheers
i have played cs since 1.1 and cheaters have always been a problem but it just felt like valve didn't give a crap about it. it is absolutely out of control now and i honestly think it is because everyone knows VAC has never really worked and the few ban waves just meant go get another account. this version looks promising or at least like some effort to address the issue. i guess it only took 25 years and 50% of the players cheating and even pro players getting caught at LANs for them to finally do something.
Played ten games at 10k elo yesterday I downloaded all of them and 4/5 5/5 3/5. Walling and aim assist and no recoil. On the enemy team and a hacker on our team every other match. Legit unplayable.

Absolutely, I and many other cs players will agree on this line: "what if i get banned next time." Yes, valve can't ban all the cheaters but it may prove that it has enough power to deal with them. That would be more than enough.
They just added some server side checks for the no spread and fast shot. They didn't fix sht, now all cheaters will go legit mode and be an even bigger annoyance.
the thing about bans and cheaters is that they probably represent much of the sellings game, is a counterpart for them to create a perfect anticheat but we'll see
The anticheat measures seem to be more effective and more active in the game as we speak which is a good thing though cheater developers are always one step ahead and that can't be prevented.
I hope SO much for Live Game Overwatch, which results into a game cancel which then will one more time reviewed offline which then decides for an actual ban or not. If thats the plan I will rock overwatch everyday.
The only thing bothering is the Mappool. Remove Ancient and let Overpass stay. Bring back The Prime CSGO Mappool ( Cache, Train, Cobble, Mirage, Dust, Overpass)

what are you talking about im pretty sure every cheater anf his mother have at least 3 accounts. its not like this will stop them
@@w0uffv379you are talking about cheat developers, not the losers with mom's credit card, while both malicious, they are different.
@@souza7405
I've heared in a cheat developer interview that a good cheat programmer needs about 10 accounts to create a cheat that is not detected. So those cheaters now have 2 more chances to check out other cheats or wait for their cheats to update to try cheating again and gamble if another account gets banned.
Played 5 Premier matches today. Was the 1st time since release it felt like there was not a single cheater.
Have been waiting for this video so much, keep doing great job!
Overpass is such a good and underappreciated map

Finally, it's nice to see VAC coming back from its long lasting VACation!
"Neural network" the enshittification of steam commences
I am on a 50 game stomp streak from 10k to 20k in premier (as a solo only player)
I didn't become 10x better overnight, it can only be because cheaters got wiped out in large numbers from those ranks
pretty much now you are faced with REAL opponents and not fighting hackers and cheaters, and your real elo was higher actually but you were stuck due to playing fair.
Thanks for the the more in depth info and explanation!
Hope it will also be used in TF2. Even tho the chance for that is minimal
🌊
there you go brother, thanks for the good coverage every time.
yesterday after hearing all the VAC live is now working and cheaters are getting banned news, I decided to play a match of premiere with friends.
Nothing. Even faceit is failing with this task and nowadays it fails to hold semilegits too.
Yesterdays update was small too but it fixed like four things that were bugs I noticed. One of them existed since the start of the game. Thank you valve
this entire situation makes me laugh hysterically 😹😹
I can still cheat without problems. ❤
False
@@nempk1817😂
You physically can't monitor and learn from each and every mouse-stroke each and every player does unless you shift out the analyzing part to the client. Also the AI only sees as legit what it has seen, every not caught "legit-hacker" will distort the image of a clean player to the AI.
@@peekachugaming3231 Valve have enough money to pay thousands of people to play with legit hacks on their own private servers and use that as fine tuning data.
And while wall hacks might be extremely difficult to detect, legit aimbots would be a piece of cake.
Just yeah that would require allot of computing power and effort from a company who can't even be bothered anymore lmao.
Really interesting that ancient has been played more
I'm gonna be honest, I despise the match cancel thing both here and in Valorant. Imagine if it's your last game before you need to hop off or something and it gets cancelled half way through and you get nothing from it. Just reward the other team with something god damn it, not only would it be less annoying, it would also discourage cheaters because they know they will help you out if they decide to toggle
This.
If the match gets cancelled because of one dude, it will waste the time of ANYONE.
They should reward the other team/players imo
but then that would potentionally reward a closet cheater also.....
@@joelarson6658 Everybody is a closet cheater, just normal players tend to not drop to that level
Doesn't make sense to award elo if there is no reason to make that skill adjustment imo
@@Tommo_ As if rank/rating ever meant skill. Competitive in online games outside of real life events is always awful and will always stay awful because you can't identify who the person behind the screen is. Whereas at something like a real tournament you can see who's playing and that person will never be able to play against newer or worse players there because people will know their skill level
Idc what ya'll say it is good seeing stuff actually happening. Better late then never honestly.
Nothing is working Cancel cs2
well yea it’s a user mode anti cheat. It has no privlage in the kernel so it can’t detect any cheats. They just need a kernel anti cheat
@@modifyingmemoryfrom an elevated context (e.g. admin service) you can read all system memory with some winapi trickery. kernelmode just makes it easier, but adds security downsides. ultimately what makes games clear of cheaters is a good netcode architecture and well protected game code. anticheats are just the second/third line of defense.
@@modifyingmemory they dont... they never had a kernel anti cheat and they never will due to privacy reasons.. they allow faceit for the players who are okay with privacy concerns.
@@GalArcT1c and it’s not privacy reason, that explains your knowledge of pc’s right there, it’s because it’s in USER MODE.

Okay but a day after the update I played against cheaters with everything (bhob, nospread, magic bullet etc.) and they did not get banned? Did valve disable it again in order to check if there are false positives?
This comment is made to support the video in the eyes of YT alhorithm 🌊🌊🌊
About Overpass' removal, Valve clearly misinterpreted the statistics. Mirage being played 25% of the time while the second most played map is only 15% is *not a good thing.*

I suppose these accounts will still be able to trade their items? I kinda liked how some hackers lost thousands of dollars.
This, this is the main reason why Valve wasn't doing anything. It's their revenue as well, just locked there
he just showed in this video they hand out trade/community bans
@@karpfenboy Must have missed it

Makes me think that 'trusted partners' are people who are working with valve to test the new features
cs anticheat is a joke. this will only ban people that OBVIOUSLY cheats. this will not help at all lmao
🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊 Maxim, Thank you for what you do daily. Ever since we were testing last April for CS2 i thought that VACNET would have been priority for VALVE to have gotten that done asap, but look at what that caused by doing this. Leave the Grinder on perm VALVE don't let cheaters ruin this game any more. It almost sacrificed 2/3's of the CS community. Hopefully thanks to the newest VACWAVE the player base of clean players can return to make this game take off again. Keep up the good work you do Maxim. Cheers
🌊
i have played cs since 1.1 and cheaters have always been a problem but it just felt like valve didn't give a crap about it. it is absolutely out of control now and i honestly think it is because everyone knows VAC has never really worked and the few ban waves just meant go get another account. this version looks promising or at least like some effort to address the issue. i guess it only took 25 years and 50% of the players cheating and even pro players getting caught at LANs for them to finally do something.
Played ten games at 10k elo yesterday I downloaded all of them and 4/5 5/5 3/5. Walling and aim assist and no recoil. On the enemy team and a hacker on our team every other match. Legit unplayable.
Ill be getting back into this game once Danger zone arrives. Pls comeback.
Its not working Its full pr and full lie; Played 3 games full of spinbot players I played against.
Does VAC work in Wingman yet? I can't get a wingman game without facing bunnyhopping scouters and this has been the case for 2+ months, and I mean EVERY SINGLE GAME without exception. 😅
but the closet cheaters who are the main villains on this are untouched ☹☹ 🌊
Good to see this😢😢😢 after a long time i am happy to play Cs2 again
as soon as i joined a premier game, warmup starts and the match got cancelled by vac lol it works pretty well
50 Kills, Bhopping and wallbaning is nothing sus it seems. Because my match just now got not cancelled at all.
6:01 my beloved fy_iceworld.. Just imagine a 5v5 FightYard gamemode in CS2 with the classic maps like fy_buzzkill, twotowers, poolparty, poolday etc, people would play these 100%.
Hi Max, nice video! I personally enjoyed watching it a lot.
Good things come to those who wait.
🌊
🌊 I for one am not really pissed at them for removing ovp because of the fps drops I get in B site but slightly pissed that instead of fixing the issue they just straight out removed it. I actually liked OVP in CSGO, but the spike was enough for me to play other maps instead.
🌊 The small indie company has adressed the cheater problem!
I don't play the game but it's soothing to see that justice is served
Absolutely, I and many other cs players will agree on this line: "what if i get banned next time."
Yes, valve can't ban all the cheaters but it may prove that it has enough power to deal with them. That would be more than enough.
Wonder if it's working in AS servers as well, 5/6 games with cheaters yesterday
They just added some server side checks for the no spread and fast shot. They didn't fix sht, now all cheaters will go legit mode and be an even bigger annoyance.
the thing about bans and cheaters is that they probably represent much of the sellings game, is a counterpart for them to create a perfect anticheat but we'll see
I would bet that some exploits (such as rapid fire) were left unfixed for so long to be used as honeypots
Thanks for the update 🌊
The anticheat measures seem to be more effective and more active in the game as we speak which is a good thing though cheater developers are always one step ahead and that can't be prevented.
finally big win valve all ready the game feels better!! lets see more.Great video my friend!!
I hope SO much for Live Game Overwatch, which results into a game cancel which then will one more time reviewed offline which then decides for an actual ban or not. If thats the plan I will rock overwatch everyday.
Might come back to cs after 2 months off
Valve makes cheese
It takes long to be done but its worth it after all this time
Its not working Its full pr and full lie; Played 3 games full of spinbot players I played against.
wave emoji. Thanks for your work Mr. Follower
thanks for the update on the situation 🌊
I'm still not sure if I'll come back tho. Got big trust issues from now on.
This version is already old, on my channel you can find new version of the cheat or skin changer for CS2!)
How can I find the like bots link?
🌊 first wave emoji ever lol
Another great video man🫡
I wish people could see valve the way I do
The only thing bothering is the Mappool. Remove Ancient and let Overpass stay. Bring back The Prime CSGO Mappool ( Cache, Train, Cobble, Mirage, Dust, Overpass)
Removing maps usually means they are changing them somehow
Ok, but whats the deal with cobble? Its the obvious first operation by valve, reselling and reskining old assets
Man, it’s so nice Valve immediately act to fix Bot Problem in CS2 while TF2 Suffering for years of Bots. Dammit Valve. Unequal Treatment.
Finally, been waiting since I was 17, now I'm 30.
And you will wait another 13 years.
Next step is the Operation 😁🌊🌊
I had a rage hacker in my match yesterday. Nothing happend.
when did Gabe Follower turn cartoonishly russian? wasn't this guy american in the beginning?
like turkeys on Thanksgiving
nice to see valve is actively working on this game 🌊
🌊 Mirage is overplayed by premier people who refuse to learn other maps. Pros play Anubis way more, and looking at premier picks is futile imo.
Jup ban an old map, get a fresh and new one. Cs is full of russian conservatives. They just want to do the same thing for the rest of their lifes.
it doesn't mean anything because the cheaters can still see through the walls
THEN WHY DOES IT NOW WORK ANYMORE
🌊 Really love the map de_overpass. I'm pretty sad that it's removed from the competitive map pool.
5:44 "I'm a victim" HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
did he slip on a banana 2:00
I played a casual game in Dust II and all players in both teams throw molly towards mid and run on it causing them to all die. What's happening? It happened today. 😢
It's case farming lobby
Excited to get back to my pc next week to try to see vacnet working
nothing will change tho.
those few cheaters that actually get banned just make a new account and start spinning again.
they should make it an IP-Ban so it actually has some inpact.. cause you can just buy a prime acc for 3 bucks and start spinning without any real consequences
Was that 2 Teamkills in the first 6 seconds?
As a cheater, i usa a dma device witch is not detectable at all, i can only get banned by overwatch or vac live
As a malware developer for DMA devices, thank you for giving me access to your system memory and paying me for the privilege.
