It's utterly and totally irrelevant whether or not a sexually violent predator can be rehabilitated. ONE sexually violent attack and the convicted perpetrator must be incarcerated for life. Any attempts to see IF a SVP can be rehabilitated amounts to an extremely dangerous experiment using the public, who have not been asked their consent to be part of the experiment.
Why aren't they released back to their Home States? I live in the UK so I don't understand why they're released into the communities next to where they're imprisoned & not transfered back to where they lived before incarceration. At least their previous communities KNOW who they are on sight.
The governor and Attorney General of Washington State know that violent predators should not be near children, however what do these politicians care they live in gated communities with troopers protecting them and their children.

And on a related sidenote, I thought I heard somewhere that some of these people are being released, or maybe most of them, because it was declared unconstitutional to keep someone locked up based on civil commitment laws when they have shown they are extremely low risk. And if that’s true, then you’re going around and blaming and hating on politicians who had nothing to do with it.

How many citizens do you interview asking citizens about their happiness with legislators, governor and the politicians and how Good is their Life been with current legislators drug and homeless policies? How many citizens both in western and Eastern Washington have you talked with about how they are doing financially with Washington State policies, laws , regulations? Get off your sofa and start driving all over WA State and then we can talk again?

I pointed out that was false. You didn’t acknowledge that. And you did not acknowledge that either. And I also pointed out how the judges or actually the one that made the ruling based on the law/constitution. These officials are not worried about violent sexual predators.However, you appear to have knowledge ,so what elected officials approved Violent Risk Assessment Report filed against innocent law abiding citizens and the report number is SW ASRA_1.0 06/30/2011. This report is being filed AGAINST innocent citizens because Washington State democrats have a. Agenda against the POOR/ middle class. I am independent but like to investigate both parties when I see the poor/ middle class being harmed by elected officials.
