@@richardched6085 dang I looked and saw it wasn't, I was planning on playing it till the world ended
@@orionriftclan2727 I'm sure it'll eventually happen if enough people clamor for it.
Anybody know how to play this on Steam Deck? I've seen a few guides around but they're kind of obtuse
I really need to get my computer again into my apartment to play this game again since it's way better than the original despite its flaws it's a shame that Masters in the dev team parted ways there is so much more they can add to this mod such as a 3 slot for weapons dual wielding trading with allies especially finally fixing Ally behavior maybe he should just let other modders do that so he doesn't have to worry about it anymore and dread it alongside us fans.
how did you get the screens on the AR to not flicker?
Not sure, kinda just played the game?
a great mod, sad many dont talk about it.
should of had coop
But then it wouldn’t be SPV (Single Player Version) lol
asmr
So how do you play this?
Since when could you wield the energy sword in SPV3?
Since the latest update, however its only a powerup
is for halo aniversary? all halo or only halo 1 original?
Halo Custom Edition
Never understood why it isn't on steam
It's not??? How do you play this then?
Can't be ported over, too many assets would be broken and scripts would have to be re-done from the ground up as there are functions that don't exist in the MCC version. Not to mention numerous tags do not open with the MCC guerilla due to open sauce editing, so those would have to be rebuilt as well. None of the armor abilities would work and the graphical quality would be killed, that's the main reason
Its wayyyy to complicated for steam workshop.
For some reason my comment on how to get the mod keeps getting deleted. Look up the official site and download the full package be sure to follow instructions carefully and it IS compatible with mcc
@@syndromeofadowns so then how do you play this??
@@Wuunderboy download it from the official site
The next official _Halo_ game should be a full remake of _Halo: Combat Evolved_ similar to SPV3. A complete remake of the single-player Campaign with new weapons, new vehicles, and new enemies, plus a Firefight mode on the side. A PvE-only spinoff game, similar to _Halo 3: ODST._
SPV3 is still getting updates? I thought it shut down?
I guess? I kinda just downloaded it from the Reddit
The fact that 343 hasn't even considered doing any of this has shown how little they care about the games versatility for players and more about the money
I have always wanted a grenade launcher on the assault rifle
I wish this was a mod for mcc so badly.
Ah, what Halo CE anniversary should've looked like.
How did you install the mod?
Off Reddit, just search SPV3 and you should find it, they have details on installing it as well
19:52 how did you do that???
Is that coop??
Does spv3 support coop???
Firefight let’s special AI characters fight alongside you the higher in rounds you get, each character has their own special weapon the use to help you

Reticles are kinda busy
What's this game?
Only real issue is that all the sounds sound like they were recorded on a 10 year old phone
It's a mod or a Game?
Nice
Can we play coop now?
Nope
Can you do a tutorial on how to install halo spv3?
There’s already a couple videos on UA-cam and Reddit gives a bit more detail on how and what to install for the latest version
Halo 3 graphics so juicy.................... 😍
Where can I download spv3?
I don't really remember but possibly either ModDB or Reddit
How do i play it
Imagine all this in the next Halo game
343 take notes
Halo Bloat Evolved
ahh SPV3, what a terrible experience thanks to Masters
This. Masters has the absolute worst attitude in modding. For some reason he thinks spv is perfect and requires no further updates even though weapons are laggy and unresponsive and level balance is out the window. Also theres a good chance he's reading these comments he tends to lurk in many videos about spv3
it's fun though?
@@syndromeofadowns WHY. THE. H. IS THERE NOTHING MORE FOR FIREFIGHT
@@syndromeofadowns He's moving on from SPV3, it's not that he thinks its perfect. Idk where you got that from, but I've talked to him on discord and he's said nothing of the sort. Random Masterz hate like normal, he's moving on to H3 and Legacies and doesn't update SPV3 because the entire dev team is gone and have moved on to other things, like himself
19:57 ayo?
What's wrong ?
They updated?
Last year they did
Is there a way to play spv3 cooperatively?
Nope, all the code for multiplayer has been removed to make room for new content.
@@mhmtakeyatime9000 I had seen that there was a mod similar to spv3 but for mcc, and in that you can play cooperatively, I don't remember what it's called, can you help me?
@@juandavid8285 Hmm.. you might be referring to SOI's single player adventure. The creator of the mod did work on spv3 if I recall.
@@mhmtakeyatime9000 Thanks bro, I think I'll be able to play the closest thing to spv3 but with friends. I hope in the future they give multiplayer to spv3
@@juandavid8285 There's another mod called the Silent Cartographer Evolved which I believe has a multiplayer component. I also recommend other mods called CE Rebalanced, CE+ And An Upcoming mod by a UA-camr named Altis94.
…has there been an update past 3.3?
Honestly I don’t think there will be
@@SirSoda-tq7en that’s fair, the mod seemed feature complete last time I dabbled with it. Just wanted to check since it had the “2024” in the title :)
What was the bad thing that happened about this game? I’ve seen some of these animations before but never heard of SPV3. Can someone explain why it was bad?
Its really hard and overhauls the whole game
@@SirSoda-tq7enwere the overhauls bad?
@@scyth3631 Nah people just had a hard time beating the levels because they were changed so much I guess, personally I didn't have a problem with it and really enjoyed the gameplay
why does this look like a mod than i see it as official game
It is a mod?
Is this mod on the steam workshop?
nope, never will be
@@Kandanzaany reason why it won’t be? Kinda curious on this.
@@IsoSobek Yes actually. Numerous features(all of the armor abilities, all of the graphical enhancements, normals on non-bsp matierals, script functions, loadouts) are not possible with MCC. The scripts themselves for each mission would have to be built from the ground up, as well as a bunch of the scenarios. Too much work for a watered-down version of SPV3 when you can play the same version not watered down with MCC installed and just run the application outside of the steam workshop
@@Kandanza there goes any possibility of co-op :(
