Fellow Stinger owner but also someone with experience at the track. Go on the 3rd yellow. Don't anticipate it, react to it. Don't take your eye off the 3rd yellow and when it lights up, go. It takes about the same amount of time for the light to go green from there as it does for your car to cross the staging beam starting the ET timer. With a little practice you'll start cutting into the .500s. Or if you would rather watch the green, google "deep staging". Good races!
Great video! Fellow stinger owner here. The only thing that gives me pause about going to drag strip is because it is my daily and don’t want to destroy this car. Finally caved and got the JB4 hopefully it is good to me.
After 3 months of ownership, I'm just about ready to go for the JB4. In my opinion, if you do your regular oil changes and practice common sense, we'll be fine. Don't beat on your car every day, let the oil warm up before revving hard and allowing a cool down period after spirited driving.
@@lawabiding2576 yeah I had it installed for awhile now. I have had no issues to date with the jb4. The only thing new for me is just reading and understanding the logs. I think I have gotten better at that but I am no pro by any means

Thinking about buying a jb4 just nervous about long term reliability. Did you have any problems or things breaking on you wit hteh jb4? I just have the mbrp catback and plan to do upgraded plugs and thats it prob run just map 2. Is it worth it or stay away from it

Weird that your AWD car is spinning like that 😳. My stock AWD 22 GT1 never loses traction on the streets or at the track. My 60ft are consistently 1.9ft. What's your best 60? I'm 4.5 0-60 and 12.8 @108 in the quarter.
Yo I have a 22 awd gt1 with only intakes on it. I was just playing around and I found out how to lose traction without power cut. Enable auto hold and try to engage auto start stop and turn off traction and stability. Once the auto ss kicks in and the engine turns off. Floor the gas and you'll for sure slip! Try it.
2yrs ago.. maybe ya know by now. I drag my GT-2 In series.. when that 3rd yellow comes on .. launch it! Human and mechanical response means you will be hitting a good reaction time cause the green will be on by time you break the Beam 😉
I’ve got a ‘19 G70 3.3 with the same mods as your Stinger in this video and very new to tuning…question: where can I learn how to properly mix and run a 91/E85 mix? I thought adding E85 to 91 could bring me to 93 if measured correctly. I tried it and my logs on maps 0 through 2 had my IGNs all over the damn place!

How come you only Chose to use launch control one time? Were all your runs in sport mode? Maybe if you are spinning you could try a custom mode? Love your videos! You have helped me with my newly purchased stinger multiple times.
Just experimenting. Some guys on the forums said they had better luck with the auto hold. If you look at the center screen when i line up with the other stinger i was actually setting up custom mode with the awd in comfort to see if it grips better but i decided to use regular sport last second. i dont get, why arent you mid 12s with map 1 & 12 in map 2 ?? yours is rwd ? was other stinger awd ? you are mod'd & tuned, so you should always be sub 13's except in map 0.. i do 13.0 easy with my sliiiightly mod stinger gt limited awd. chk out my vids bro
You spun man look at your mph your not loosing power u picked up 2 mph then little more on the last run so 3 mph don't worry about the times really your spinning so times are irrelevant get some good radials go back and don't spin its a 60ft race.....and promise u will be in the 12.s

AEM intake manifold. JB4 With Fuel wires And mishimoto intercooler upgrade. With stock exhaust. I pulled A12.1 Add a 115 miles an hour.

Yea he was awd too, might decide to do that one day but it seems like a hassle to find another tcu to send out for the tune.

Love going to that dragstrip. I was hitting 12.45 when I was there and was the only Stinger.

I miss having a track close by, I use to just roll out on a Saturday morning by myself and Hot Lap the crap out of my car, lol

I just gapped my spark plugs to .024, I'm in Rhode island anything less I would have cold start problem they told me.
what tyres are you running? that could be the source of all your spinning, you shouldn't be spinning at all with AWD.
Also on your take offs did u both do it with Launch Control ?
No launch control, my tcu tune allows me to brake boost
