I’m thinking about grabbing this car bro. Found your channel after looking it up. You reminded me how dope Bear mountain is. Can’t wait to drive up to it now!
I see you had a video by Jones beach. I'm from massapequa but currently in Virginia. I have a 2021 stinger gt2 awd with plenty of toys. It's going to get dyno tuned in September. I will be posting video. Be safe buddy
Quick question, I’m looking into the sway bars my self and I go up to bar mountain too. So I noticed on the aftermarket sway bars there’s 2 holes. Living in NYC with all the damn pot holes which one did you use? I’m looking into doing front and rear.
I use the soft setting which is the second hole/the one on the end of the bar. Haven’t really noticed a big difference regarding potholes just make sure you lube the bushings enough cuz theyll squeak real nice if you dont.
Great video! Considering picking up the '21 Base GT (V6) this weekend but I'm honestly worried about how the Stinger handles rough roads and potholes with the 19's and stock suspension. I currently have a TLX A-Spec and the ride is just wayyyy too stiff for City driving. I get lowerback pains because of all the pot holes and what not. How's your experience been with the Stinger in the City?
It’s ok lol. It is a little busy over bumps and you definitely feel some stuff. My only comparison is my old man’s 2021 accord and that car is way smoother over bumps. I think it has 17s so I’m sure with a smaller tire the stinger would be fine too.
Gy H I would be anxious everytime going down to that parked garage. Hoping no one dings my shit. And brz's are trash man lol they need a new engine to compete.
Haha after a while you get used to it, the convenience of not having to look for a spot is worth it. And if they had an engine with around 3 horsepower on the brz i feel like that would be perfect. A v6 would probably make it to heavy though. Interior needs some work too lol
True! Being in NY that is probably the best parking option. Yeah the interior is very bland. It does look appealing from the exterior but doesn't hold a candle to the stinger
@@gbgary i had the primacy tours before. The AS3+ are more sporty while the Primacys are supposed to last a bit longer and perform better in the wet. Couldn’t justify buying two different sets of tires so i just went with the best All seasons. These shaved about .5 of a second on my 0-60 so they are a noticeable improvement.
@@JulianWithAnX yeah I was like how are you able to go around a corner like that?? I drove a Stinger before and almost understeered into a ditch driving it like how you did. That day made me not want to get one but I sorta want to look at one again
Not really, i disabled the auto correct features so it just beeps. It saved me a long time ago (with my honda) when i was falling asleep driving so just keep it on now.
Your commentary is great.
I am entertained.
Haha I appreciate it!
video file not found XDDDD gramps was strolling down the road
Legend has it he’s still going down the hill

@@JulianWithAnX thanks man! I’m just waiting for it be get back in stock. I was going for the Eibach ones since the ark ones are so expensive.

I wouldn't live in that hellhole New York
That is the only part of living in Pomona New York that I really miss.
Jesus, with parking spots like that, the summon feature would be ideal
Haha another thing that should be included but isnt even though Hyundai has it in their cars.
"video file not found" lmao
I’m sorry officer i dont know what you’re talking about
what tires are you running now?
Pilot Sport AS3+
@@JulianWithAnX thanks but I thought you said you'd be slipping with all season tires.

You get any mods that improve the handling? Also what exhaust you got on?
Sway bars and tires pretty much. Sway bar was the biggest difference

@@A_guan yea stock they definitely dont handle as well as they should haha. Sway bars are relatively cheap mod to fix that issue tho.
Does lane assist don’t bother you?

Oh right makes sense, i have on full assist so when i drive far it holds me in lane and don’t feel like changing the settings every time i drive
Ceramic coat your Stinger! It will make washing, cleaning and drying your car much easier!
Thats definitely on the list, need to do some paint correction first.
You should plasti dip them rims bro it'll look fire af
Nah, plasti dip seems to ricer nowadays. Keep them OEM and clean. If you're gonna swap out rims. Better make it count with high budget ones.
@@SSH939 You've got a good point... those oem's look nice as well
