      When the crossfader is centered on the controller is it centered in the software.... Mines is of by one line to the right. I only bought it two weeks ago... Iv searched for a fix but no one has answers not even pioneer they say its designed like that in the chat rooms.

    • @Anomicofficial
      @Anomicofficial 3 роки тому

      @@tonycammie1269 it's sounds very wierd indeed.. It sounds like a software glitch. I would try a clean install. If that don't work I think it's the fader that is (mechanical) not fully centered. In that case you have to send it to Pioneer for service. If you're still in the guarantee period:)

      ONEOFYOU start with just two tunes and practice makes perfect. For the first 6 months to a year you’re learning but practice and spend time keeping it. Simple. Don’t mess around with effects just focus on what tracks goes together.

    • @danielbarrell7008
      @danielbarrell7008 4 роки тому

      Lachlan McNeill great question. First of all, people get mixed up between creating their own music (producing) and djing (mixing and mashing up music). So if djing is what you choose as a musician, the basics are necessary in the beginning: download virtual Dj it’s free software and just spend so much time figuring out what everything does. At the same time spend a lot of time watching and rewatching Dj’s because it takes about 6 months to master the basics. DO NOT invest in professional equipment at first, it will throw you off. Remember, djing is in the heart, not the hardware. Learn what kind of genres mix, learn the beat counting and phrasing, learn beat-matching. It’s difficult in the beginning but with any instrument it gets easier with practice. Mostly just listen to the same genre of music you like and mix it in your head.
      Once the basics are grasped but a cheap controller for 2/250£ like the ddj or mc2000

    I have a question, and wondered if you could help me out, I notice on the DJ 1000 and a couple of your videos, when you load a song, you do not press the play button, but you actually press one of the hot cues, and the song begins to start, I have looked for that particular feature to set up and RekordBox, and I can’t seem to locate it, you have done this particular technique into other videos that I have looked at, can you please tell me where is that feature located and/or how to turn it on so that I can utilize it, I like that you can load a song and when you’re ready you just press the hock you and where you want to start, and it takes off from there, I have been very unsuccessful trying to locate that feature, could you please tell me how it’s done and where can I turn it on. And I also have seen in another video from another gentleman, when he loads a song that automatically starts, is that feature also available, and can you tell me how to enable that one as well,

    Hey Jamie, what's your opinion on using the key sync feature? Personally I find it quite useful in making mixes sound cleaner. However, it also makes popular songs sound off, which the crowd will notice fairly quickly. I usually try to overcome this by switching the main track back to the original pitch at a fitting point, but I would like to hear your thoughts one it :)

    • @zanderz_media
      @zanderz_media 4 роки тому

      @dietcokeaddict48 I see what you're talking about, but that's not what I was saying actually. I'm talking about the key sync feature, not tempo sync.

    Question! Would you find some of theses transitions harder to do on a set of cdjs that don't have the fx pads built in? Just curious. I see a lot of awesome transition on controllers but not sure if it carries over to the cdjs.
    I bought the ddj-1000 to prep for cdjs with no plans to travel with my controller. Unless going to a friend's house.
