*Laura standing over a plant that looks better than everything in my garden*
"It's just not doing well this year!"
🤣
😄😄😄😂😂 I'm green with envy.
@@lynnerhodes349 😊
How is that pear tree that is espaliered doing? And the hops? Everything looks beautiful!
The garden is looking so beautiful! While I have been watching your channel since just before Benjamin was born, I only recently came across what I think is the first garden tour you did after you bought the house. I was wondering if you'd ever consider (or have already done) a shot by shot, split-screen comparison of what the garden looked like in that first tour compared to what it looks like now. It would be so fun to see how much it's changed!
What an amazing idea! I would love to see this too
I am doing that right now with the videos of the spot where Laura is standing at the start of the video and what a great difference from then to now. Laura has worked very hard and made it seem effortless.
I am proud to announce I have only watched this 10 times 🍃
Me too!!! and I had to move from cell phone to tablet and finally to the big screen tv!!!!
It is amazing what she can accomplish!!
She is ... compulsive.
Lol
😅😂😋 I don’t keep count anymore!
This garden literally moved me to tears, the beauty is astounding. You are earth angels. Imagine if this kind of knowledge was ( and should be as far as I'm concerned ) part of standard curriculum at every school. How beautiful the world could be. 💐🥀🌾🌲🌼🌳🌅
I agree, it should be taught in schools, especially what plants to eat and how to make medicine from them X
Plasma Girl absolutely, just have to avoid toxins to insects bees, people etc
Earth angels are those who do for others, not for themselves.
Plasma Girl...I found myself crying and thought I had lost my mind when she did a tour of her parents gardens. It is so peaceful and relaxing there. Love what these folks do. So creative!
Such a great idea.
Shout out to Chris! Great job keeping up with the maintenance.
The butterflies fluttering around at 26:20 made it seem so peaceful and happy. Always love the tours.🌻🌹☀
Just when I’m about to put down my phone and get productive today, I see this garden tour. Oh well, let me get my charger and lay back down. 🤣
That is exactly what happened to me, my day will just have to wait! Lol
Same story here 😝
I feel like I have to watch a garden video every day before doing garden chores, or working on my own UA-cam videos!
Same! Made me lol
Such a great designer! It is astounding how a property that size has such purposeful and thoughtful vignettes with such variety yet cohesiveness at once, It literally blows my mind.
Who else clicked on this SO quick
🙋🏼♀️
Sabrina Arias lol, I waited until I was alone in the house so I could just relax and enjoy it.
@@n.w.414 me too!!
I got my coffee first....self discipline! Lol
i saved this one so hubby and i could watch together.. i was impressed when i'd point out something (like the pallet walkway) he'd say, oh yeah, i remember when she did that, lol.. i guess sending him your videos has paid off... it was great fun having a 'date' to watch it together; it felt like we were just friends getting a private tour of your gardens... such a beautiful property... enjoyed this tour so much.. everything looks spectacular!!! :)
Cleomes (spider flower) self-seed RAMPANTLY, so be sure to pull them out before the flowers go to seed. The seed pods spring open, popping the seeds far and wide, so be diligent.

Your comment made my day, Grüße aus Mannheim 😊
Laura, “the video is too long, “ SAID NO ONE, EVER!!
Exactly!!
Well said Barbara! Well said!!
Who the heck is in her ear with that nonsense?
Loved it
Jake Jones , as I originally posted, certainly none of us viewers.
How in the world does this woman remember all the names of these plants?
She must be a genius.
I agree John. What a memory.
Not really. If your that involved in a hobby, your gonna remember names of things.
It's her thing. You remember easily that which you know well. I'm sure there are things you know and remember that amaze others.
I've got a little bit of garden envy and space envy...🤣 so beautiful, girl!
I thoroughly enjoy these garden tours and find myself rewatching them, especially during stressful times. These videos very peaceful and calming. Thank you for sharing with us the fruits of your labor! 💕
Hey LaTicia, I have a cooking channel with gardening videos as well. I'd love to share them with you and have your support. You may really enjoy them. Have a blessed day 😊❤️
Loved the full tour of your beautiful property. Can the tall Russian Sage be cut back to the ground in the Fall or early Spring to keep the size in check and make it bushier?
I had to stop and make a comment! OMG your front entrance is spectacular. It is the best that I have ever seen it!! Bravo Laura, I have said it before you are the best as far as I’m concerned!!
The mounding form of the Supertunia Mulberry Charm is perfection... I love your repeat use of it throughout. And goodness... yes. The combination in the front entryway is glorious. You really show how to create cohesion with your plantings without being matchy-matchy. Again, PERFECTION! 🤜🤛❤
❤️❤️❤️
I can’t believe that I’ve walked past those Supertunias in our local garden center. They look beautiful in this garden!
@@neal6805 I definitely will be keeping my eye out for them next year! 🥰
That final shot with the drone was VERY REWARDING! I don't know that I've ever seen such a complete aerial view of the whole property - it's nice to have that perspective now. BEAUTIFUL!
I just have to ask what everyone else wants to know. How has someone so young acquired such a massive and beautiful estate. How many people do u have to help care for this place and all your gardens? I hope u aren't offended by me asking.
She didn’t answer, must be offended...lol
@@Broncort1 Yeah, I guess u r right.
@@virginiaspindle8403 lauara never answers comments because she says there are too many. She has a second channel called garden answer highlights where she takes the most commonly asked questions and answers them each week. Anyways, she mentioned in this video that she has a helper called chris come once or twice a week to do maintenance. This women grew up in horticulture- her parents own a garden center- so she has the knowledge and resources to landscape like this.
The people spoke and you delivered!! Super quick turnaround on this garden tour video. Also, those drone shots are the best!! 🤍
Yes to the drone shots ! I watched twiced!
Great job guys so peaceful and lovely thank you. Yes im inspired but im in AZ with a desert. Looking forward to November
Все очень красиво,жаль,что русском языке нет перевода,представляю сколько интересного можно услышать от влюбленного в сад Человека.
Ok...new game. From now on whenever Laura says "This is my favorite" I'm going to go buy more plants. Win/ win! I'm like her, at some point in the season, everything is my favorite when it comes to my yard. Also, Laura, thanks to you I have planted my first ever vegetable 'garden.' I use garden loosely because it's only a few plants, but you gave me the courage to go ahead and try it because even if I fail, it's just gardening, not brain surgery. Thanks for that. :)

Everything is looking so beautiful I have been non stop gardening with all of this Corona virus stuff peaking here in Dallas Texas so I'm a bit behind on my garden answer videos I missed you taking a break from the garden to day just for you...

Great way to take your mind off a stressful situation
When getting to heaven, after seeing Jesus and worshiping at His feet, having a reunion with my family, I am heading straight to the gardens. I have a landscaper that can give me a small taste of the best to come! Thank you Doug!
I always come back to this video, especially in the winter when joy and spring inspo is needed!!💕
This is my favorite garden tour yet. The front of the house is PERFECTION, and Im so excited to see what you put into the moon garden to color it up! Im imagining so many colorful tulips and david austin roses! 😍 Thank you for giving us such a thorough, enjoyable tour! The drone footage at the end just stole my heart!
I agree! Just beautiful! 😍 Thank you Laura & Aaron!! 💚💙💜

I love that you admit when things don't go as planned. It helps me to know as a gardener I'm going to fail at times but you learn from it and try something new!!!!.
I fail every year at something! 😂 I think it's all part of the experience!
Yes! In gardening there's no such thing as failures, its a learning experience. There are 2 things I want to teach people with my gardening channel- that, & that gardrning (whther it be flower gardening or vegetable gardening) doesn't have to be extremely difficult like some people make it out to seem!
Beautiful!! My goodness how do you take care of all of that beauty? Your knowledge of so many plants is impressive. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful gardening with everyone.
You look great Barbara. How are you?
The camera man is amazing. He moves so smoothly videoing you that it’s like walking with you. Great job Aaron!
beautiful, a suggestion: please post names of plants as you show them! hard to catch the names sometimes, esp for newer gardeners who don't recognize all the names...
agree
put on subtitles(CC) help sometimes
I definitely agree! Please post names or at least say names slowly. I so love your gardens and your videos but so frustrating to love plants and not be able to catch the name of what they are.
I echo this same suggestion. I'm learning so much by watching these videos but I miss a lot because I can't quite hear the name of the plant. Seeing it spelled out will help get it to stick in my brain.
Yes, especially for us older people with poor memories. Ha,ha,ha. Love, love, love your gardens!! We are re landscaping a newly purchased older home and I'm getting a lot of good ideas from your videos. Thank you for all your hard work! I can appreciate it as an avid gardener. Can't wait to see more!
I thought I was set for the day after having such a great time watching the mail time video and now I’m just downright spoiled!!!!! A garden tour too!!!! Happy Monday!! Love you Laura Aaron and Benjamin 😍
Me too! I can’t get enough of this channel
I always love seeing the fly overs. Thanks so much for that view Aaron. It really helps to visualize your entire property.
Your property is breath taking with all your planting and flowers.❤️
Imagine walking around with a coffee and taking cuttings!!! 😲 Probably my dream and Laura’s nightmare!!!
Yes. I’m a propagation addict. I get such a rush when I see roots. 🤣
Wow! Your yard is incredible! Such an inspiration.
Could you do a tour that shows each space with all the seasons at once? Like a flip of each space in spring, summer, fall, and winter. I know you change things but Everytime you show an area I want to know what it looks like in the other seasons too. Love your tours! Such a beautiful property 😍
Yes! Great idea!
Ooooo, what a good idea!!
Yes, please. Trying to see what needs to be planted in your garden so it doesn’t look dead in the fall /winter.
Talk about a gorgeous property that just continues to get better and better every year!! Congratulations Laura, Aaron and the crew.
Gorgeous property that looks like something out of Dallas the tv show🙂
Iimimimmiimiiimmmm

French vanilla in one hand watching this beautiful garden tour 😍😍 ......... another great way to start off your morning with garden answer 💚💚💚. Can’t wait to see my garden at this level one day.
Totally agree another great way is a Starbucks in your hand 😁😁
Idk how I ended up here but 😍😍 my garden is about to look FABULOUS !!!!
I’d love to know, when Aaron is filming and you’re talking.... does he give you hand signals or pull faces any time, to signal to move on? I know we gardeners do like to talk about our plants and we do digress 😊 I mea, I’d happily listen to an all day tour, like you joked early in the tour but I guess editing and uploading that might take too long 😂
The gorgeous drone footage shows your garden is like an amazing lush oasis of green. 🙂
You look great Linda. How are you?
I think Aaron should put every name of the plants on the screen when Laura tells us. That way we know what to go buy 😂😂😂
Yaaaas!
That would be great, for deaf people ❤️
i keep a notepad ready to make notes for items of interest.
Shelley Mourer there’s tons of work to make and edit all the videos and take care of all the property and chores required. Even with help like they have there are only so many hours in the day to do it all.
I have Russian Sage because of Laura! Such a gorgeous plant I had never seen before!
Wow!! So beautiful, thank you for this tour, I have many of the same plants, nice to compare and understand more about what I'm growing 😕 I see that you have cut back a lot of your perennials, do you cut all the way to ground?? Please consider a video of your technique on this, it would be so helpful. Also, how is the Pear Tree (?) coming along, the structured looking one in raised flower bed, behind barn?? I thought it was so pretty and excited to see its growth. 🌿🌳🌺
I completely forgot to show the beds behind the greenhouse, but they are both doing so incredibly great! I'll show it soon!
Gorgeous tour and Aaron I was hoping you’d end with drone footage. Thanks!💚🥰
WINTER 2023 is for rewatching garden tours, colorful , green and lush .... ugh 😍😍😍
This entire video brought me so much happiness and inspiration!!! Your landscaping is a dream!!! Unbelievable work you've done and your place is stunning!
I just love your house and gardens ♥️ if you have time maybe you can do a raffle with those hollyhock seeds. I’m sure people would appreciate and love that. Aaron, you have the patience of a saint 😂😂😂
I wonder if they're like Lupine seeds, where the seed might yield a different color than the parent and the only way to get the same color is from cuttings (propagation).
@@Bamboo4U2 Rose of Sharon did that to me ,I thought I was getting a pink plant ,instead I got white with maroon red in the middle
I just love your garden tours Laura!!!!! And I love and laugh so much watching you as you meander through the plants and gardens and get distracted with weeds or other plants..."hold on, there's a bloom...hold up, sweet peas... " I love you!!!!! Aaron you are amazing keeping up with Laura on the videos!!! 💕
I watched it quickly this morning and now I am REALLY watching it more carefully a second time through ☺️ Thank you so much for a special treat! It’s Christmas in

What a beautiful start of Monday with Laura’s garden tour! Thanks for making our week! Love from Ontario Canada!
My goodness the work you’ve done! Makes me tired just watching the video. Endless inspiration and knowledge. Always, thank you and your growing family for the videos year round. Morning coffee and Garden Answer, now that’s a perfect combo!
A beautiful place and such great information as I tour with you. I have been looking for a shrub to hide the gas connection on the front of my house and Diervilla fits the bill. The area gets very little direct sun but the foliage is so interesting that I am not concerned about bloom. A definite win!
As Laura walks around naming her plants, I work on my garden shopping list.
Lol! Me too.
Hahahaha me too. Pen in hand now
So true!! All with no consideration given to WHERE I can shoe-horn them into my current plantings!!!!!
That's A big list lol
HAHA....me too!!!
Wow the circle garden is really something special this year. Also I can't believe how much the arbs have grown!!!
We are really loving the circle garden- it will be hard to not plant the exact same things there next year!
@@gardenanswer yes or it has to be something that make it look ethereal. Since that pot has that age look so any plant that goes in it has to look like its been there for years. I just love that look there. You nailed it. ❤
That arborvitae hedge impresses the heck out of me. They've doubled in size since they were planted what...three.years ago?
Yay! I love long garden tour! I hope you are not too exhausted from all the walking.
I will look forward to your video on the tree staking . I have one with 2 leaders unfortunately and it looks like a wild man when the wind blows. Cracks me up but needs to be fixed. Love your videos Congrats by the way on the upcoming addition.
Omg I feel like I was in Versailles Garden in France .beautiful
Just started gardening this year and you are such a big inspiration, your garden is so lush!! 🤗🌺
I LOVE garden tours!!! The Miscanthus Cabaret looks amazing not tied back. I noticed it in one of your videos last year and I love the rounded look of it. I was also with Aaron on the pink mink Clamatis. From the look of the area it doesn’t look like enough sun, but I am glad you went with it!! It looks amazing being able to see the trellis behind it!! The arborvitae hedge is looking amazing!! I bet you are glad you planted those 😂. And last but not least, because of you Firelight Hydrangeas are my absolute FAVORITE!! I am obsessed with hydrangeas now!!! 😊 Thank you so much for sharing your garden with us!!
I just completed a mixed Hydrangea hedge (I left room for more next year when garden centers should have better assortments) and also love the one you mentioned. The bloom petals are so big (I'm not talking about the bloom heads).
But I think the red color won't complement the Strawberry Shake variety I planted. I've got a Bobo and a Black Lace Elderberry, Coralberry and weeping blue spruce. I'm having fun under planting with perennials and grasses.
Me watching the video: Wow that part is my favorite. Wow *that* part is my favorite. Wow----
oh goodness same here.
Wish I had a lot of money so I could invest in my landscape. Yours is georgous.
Clearance plants are your friend! I get so many discounted plants that make it so much more affordable 🪴
@@JesusIsLoveTRHi, I am currently doing some landscaping work in my front yard this weekend, where can I find some clearance plants please?
@@myriameobas9415 for mail order plants with low prices check out Colonial creek farm. For clearance plants go to lowes very early in the morning. Each day they put plants in a clearance section and often the plants have good roots but look shaggy on top because the employees at lowes are not watering or deadheading them.
