I was hanging out to the very end hoping for some night shots. Our pond comes to life at night! Now you have us wanting a small waterfall in the front yard too!! Love the pod guy for all his inspiration!!!
What a fun day!!! Benjamin was a blast too! He reminds me of me as a kid! Thank you for allowing us to create our art in your AMAZING Garden!!! “I ❤️ MY JOB!”
I have been hoping for a collab between your channels for a long time and you did not disappoint! This was just so cool!!! Thank you Greg and Laura. 😊💚
😍Sunday morning coffee with Laura, Aaron and Benjamin and these wonderful Pond Guys! Beautiful! Can’t wait to see it and the “other” one coming in the near future! Have a wonderful day everyone 🌸
Ooooo, I remember watching this! It popped up in my feed this morning. I have to say, I do miss this 'forest" area. Can't wait to see all that's new now (Sept 2024), come into it's own!!! Love you, love your channel.
This was one of your most fun videos ever! Between the great water feature, the enthusiastic guys, and the interactions between everyone, it left a huge smile on my face. Thank you!
This team did a spectacular job. Good grief Laura. Every single week you have a project that excites me more than the last. I didn't think you could top adding the trees. But this does. Awesome!!
The pond is just what that area needed to complete the secret garden feel of the pallet walkway. I would love to put one of those in the corner under my borscht tree.
>I'll I am new to watching your wonderful show and am trying to watch the older programs. Just watched the building of a small waterfall close to where I believe the Hartley is now standing. Did you move the waterfall?
@@janicewells78 HI!! I am not the channel holder, but I can reply to your comment, in case Laura does not see it 🥰 yes, this is the location within a few feet of where the Hartley is now. Quite the transformation in 2 years! It has been incredible to watch and I am sure you are enjoying watching how it all morphed into what we see now 😃 hope you are having a wonderful day 🥰
Love the looks of this and the SOUND is perfect! Everything about this is dreamy. Benjamin sitting on those rocks and giggling was the icing on top. 🧡💦🌿
This video made me cry. The thoughtfulness, the love, and the attention to detail! Gosh! Those gentlemen are fantastic at what they do! Even the fear that you, Laura, had of it not maybe being as you'd hope in the end. Then, to see the BEAUTIFUL final results! Watching as you shared your feelings of how it's sometimes good to let go and be open to something New! That was one of many of the highlights for me in this video! The cherry on top for me was that beautiful child, Benjamin! Him sitting there at the pond's edge, with the most angelic smile and heartwarming giggle...Simply PRICELESS!💗 Oh, how I wish I could have afforded to put a babbling brook pond in my mom and I's backyard. I was always trying to make the yard Pretty for her so she'd what to come out, sit & enjoy seeing something beautiful. I did what I could with what I had and I can only hope that she liked it a little...(I miss you Mama! See you later!🙎🏽♀️💔😇)
Pond guy ! He gave me tons of help with some large ponds in my neighborhood and totally turned them around. They were beautiful and clear of algae and healthy.
Being a very contemplative thinker with an excellent eye and clear vision of what you like and dislike . . . . . is not wishy washy. Laura your aesthetic in incomparable. I'm glad you liked the stone in the end. Brian was very enjoyable. I would love to see what it looks like at night with the lights on !
It was wise of her though to let go a little and let people with more knowledge than her drive the project. They're professionals and she's not the first client of theirs to hold strong opinions about what they (think) they want.
THIS IS GORGEOUS now I want to fill me garden with waterfalls that sound is amazing! Never clicked to enter a giveaway so fast too beautiful can’t wait to see more of these in your garden
In an imperfect and troubled world that we live in today, THIS is perfection. The nature sounds and sight of the water feature refresh the mind and gives the soul peace and serenity that we all long for nowadays. It restores the soul and replenishes the mind to a more natural balance. A body is transported from the chaos of the world which surrounds us into this little bit of heaven on earth!
My definition of heaven, is waking up to the sound of coffee brewing (thanks hubs!), sitting by the fire, with my pup, and SURPRISE! A video I have been so excited to see by Garden Answer: the Garden Scape episode! It’s going to be a great day.
I watch these guys and they create some incredible ponds. I like this much smaller scale example because I can apply it to my yard. The sound of water is relaxing. 🌿🌷🦆🌱
Lovely pondless waterfalls by Brian and the guys. I myself create these types of water features and I can tell you it's as much fun for us to make them for our customers than it is for you once it's finished. We love the reaction from our customers once they are finished.
Exciting coffee with Laura, Aaron, Benjamin, The Pond Guy, and TEAM Aquascape!!!!! What an amazing feature and I love how you let Benjamin get involved as well as his laugh at the end when he was sitting by the water. It will be so fun to see how this settles into your space and how many birds and things you get to visit. Such a fun video!
Love it! Didn’t realize this video is a year old! Duh! It’s so tranquil and beautiful! Love the rock formation and how they positioned the stream and the plants Laura chose! Little Benjamin is going to make lots of fond memories there! ❤️
I want a water feature too. It is Interesting watching strong personalities who are knowledgeable folks collaborating, listening and executing to one plan. Good example for anyone.
You are going to love having water in your garden. You will find yourself sitting by the water often. I lost my farm 5 yrs ago and I had a beautiful very beautiful pond I built all by myself. It had a open roof gazebo that my wisteria climbed all over. I miss my pond to the point of tears....you are now officially a water bug. You will never want another garden without water in it. God bless
Back in the 90's my mother started building things like this for us and for friends and family and everyone at first thought it was silly but absolutely loved the end result. We live in a naturally beautiful area with lots of rocky mountain streams so I think that we were naturals with rock placement. This gave me good memories as she made us kids help her with it. It was a good experience. Ours always looked very natural as if they had always been there. His tips were really good and very similar to hers although we didn't have a waterfall "overspills". We got the swell and fall from using just the right shaped rocks. That space is even more gorgeous now and you will just love that sound. You're going to attract so many birds now and even dragonflies.
Absolutely LOVE how this turned out. I must have an Aquascape backyard waterfall lanscape fountain water feature! Can't wait to see the light at night. So peaceful.
I live in the desert (southern AZ) and we rarely see water, so seeing all this come together was just amazing! Made me feel like I was in the mountains! So peaceful & relaxing -- just amazing! A BIG THANK YOU, to you all! Looks absolutely beautiful!

I know where you'll all be next summer when it's hot and dry outside. The pond is amazing and I love the conversations about the process as organic, the way nature works and the need to listen to what the rocks say.
“Cool cat” that’s funny. I think you’ll love the red rock the gazebo has the red tones. I didn’t realize it to so many different skills to put in one waterfall. Turned out beautiful, the best part was Benjamin’s laughter priceless.
Yes, I thought the stone color helps integrate the gazebo and tree trunks with it. I like the contrast and even though I'm a "cool color" person as Laura is I can enjoy this natural look.
I so hope your family enjoys many days and nights celebrating life with your wonderful water feature. You give so much to your UA-cam family so you so deserve this beautiful addition to your garden oasis!

Absolutely stunning... a little piece of rainforest right in your garden. I already knew I wanted a water feature in my life, but now I desperately want it.
Yay all my favorite UA-cam peeps in one place. I just bought a lil home and am 100% DIY. It would be a dream come true to have that water feature. Laura, the Rock is perfect! Just beautiful congrats on the stunning addition of the water feature
Love it so much! I love the fact you don't have to have a deep pond. I'm just starting to have more birds hang around our home! Would love something low like this! Thanks for the wonderful information about how to place rocks, letting the rocks talk on where they want to be! Beautiful!
Personally i would think a pond would have made it look more natural especially with the amount of water used as now the water just disappears into the ground.i believe this look is not natural while the rest of the structure is beautifully natural. But maybe this was not her intention with this design?
Liked that you kept the rocks they picked out... its more natural and not so comercialized, like "look i just bought and installed a waterfall, its very natural and goes with all the surrounding elements.
So fun catching up on your videos Laura while I'm in bed with a little illness. You have inspired me so much over the last year. I moved to Florida after 30 years in Portland metro area. It's like learning plants all over again 💛🌱💜
Your new water feature is lovely - and the sounds it makes are very soothing. I am very fortunate - my "water feature" is a lovely creek about 30' from where I'm typing this. I've often thought that it could be helpful for landscape architects to visit this area and note how the different rock arrangements in the streams here affect the sounds the water makes. Your water feature has one HUGE advantage over mine - it will never flood! Enjoy it!
WOW! I woke up early this morning feeling very morose as I have been off work poorly since last Friday and live alone. I was lying reading my kindle and finished the book and I thought I wonder if Laura and Aaron have posted anything since yesterday? Well, I have been sitting up just smiling whilst watching the process. It looks absolutely breathtaking, it looks natural and just so relaxing. Just beautiful, I have a slope in the garden I need to tackle next year (about 9ft wide and 28 ft long, as always your programme gives me hope and inspiration. I also have a one year old grandson and it is nice to know that this is a safe option for a waterfall in your garden. May it bring you all peace. Thank you for sharing. God bless, Wendy (North Wales, UK)
After having attempted to fix our pond/water feature in May (and discovering further issues "upstream"!) with the house we have purchased, I found the tips that these guys share SO informative. We may be able to successfully attack and make work the top part now. And i never knew that you could get black expanding foam - brilliant!!! Thank you to both team Garden Answer, and to Greg and the Aquascape team. 💕

I've been waiting for this video!! It did not disappoint. How lovely. What a great team of creative minds.
What an amazing transformation....love how natural looking it is. They did a fabulous job! I would LOVE to have one in my yard.
It looks so natural like you were on a nature walk and just came upon it in the woods. Maybe Benjamin will see birds taking baths. It is beautiful.
