The renovation brought a few misty tears to my eyes. The flow, colors, and furniture were wonderful. The architect's and builder's touches made the whole home sing rather than just adding a "box" to the end of the previous footprint. Enjoy your family here. Thanks for sharing everything with us.

Wow! That's probably the most beautiful renovation I've ever seen! From the stone used in the decking, the beautiful pergola, to the colours of the indoor flooring and walls (both of which "speak" to me), this is a wonderful transformation. The biggest impact is the amount and quality of natural light from the windows and doors. It's like bringing the outside indoors. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate with you!

What seems like "setbacks" during a renovation are usually Blessings 🙌 in disguise. It always turns out so much better when moving at a speed that allows for digestion and processing. Little tweaks can be made to really make everything more customized for the user. So happy for your parents! Their years of personal sacrifice in order to raise & provide for their children, while also growing & enhancing their business has all come full circle. They not only have their dream kitchen, living and outdoor space, but have a dream space for enjoying time and making more memories with their family that has grown. Wow!! Could not have clicked fast enough!! That indeed was a labor of love and a test of your patience lol! The end result is amazing!!! So so delighted for you;
A helpful tip for anyone who is doing an exterior or landscape renovation: if you are planning steps, give yourself 14" for each step. 6" tall by 12" deep is the standard for stairs, but the extra 2" makes for an easy step in either direction, without ruining the average stride.

This Way, You Achieve Additional Ambience And More Guests Can Be Seated Near The TV To Enjoy A Movie Or Game When Hosting/Visiting.

I’m just now reading the comments. But, did you know, Yankee Candle sells a candle that smells like the Linden tree. Every late spring our neighborhood has the most delicious scent in the air. People are always asking, what is that lovely scent. Someone said it was dryer sheets, that made me laugh!
So now, we don’t have to wait, we can smell it all year round.

We too had to renovate the kitchen to get a bigger table for our grandkids. I really think if you swapped the tv with the piano that you and your husband would enjoy watching tv at night in the bigger space.

Only one year to transform that space was so worth it to have so many to look forward to enjoy it. Under one year doesn’t seem like very much compared to how much you’re going to enjoy all that sunlight and doors working and especially when you bring all your family over, it’s gonna feel so wonderful.
