Done the Lessierres chair many times and always been tempted to jump off at the top! But never have... Thanks for the memories. My knees are a bit too shot nowadays for any snowboarding (or skiing). I enjoy pretending to be there, although I'd be going off piste at every opportunity and get away from the punters.
Definitely worth exploring the Itineraires first. Vallee Perdue Tignes side of Bellevarde is novel and would make good footage. An ever narrowing steep sided valley, that seemingly ends in a wall that almost goes through a hole in the ground where there is a handily supplied rope to let you down a couple of metres to the slope below. Comes out at La Daille.
Late season was actually the best part of the season, lots of fresh snow but the problem being, they would groom the pistes and the snow would keep falling overnight so generally in the morning, it wouldn't take long for the snow to be chopped-up and moguls formed. They did groom some of the fresh snow in the morning so some pistes would still be good throughout the day, however, the sun didn't damage the snow during this time.
