Insane. What a player he was.
Here in 2020 remembering the good old glory days
2:18 MANU! To have that much control and ability is ridiculous
HOF!... no tienen en cuenta este tipo de cosas...y no es común. Manu es un distinto.. merece ser distinguido.
as much as i love pop and ik he's the best coach of all time but im sure every spurs fan can agree with me when i say that pop held manu back to what he really could have been as an individual player but it was all for the better of the team since us spurs are always team first and thats how we've won championships but manu could have been a top 10 sg of all time if pop didn't make him come off the bench his whole career pretty much and make him think team first but only a few players are as humble as manu agreeing to sacrifice his own individual success for team success
But thats the point, right? Basketball is team sport and you have to do whats best for the team. He could have tried to go somewhere else and he would probably have better stats, even maybe MVP or whatever, but he could never have 4 championships...
And I have huge respect for his choice. Some people maybe dont, but trust me i respect him much more than all of those individuals like James, Curry, Durant etc. and i can tell you that many people are also thinking like me.
i respect him for the choices he made as well manu is actually my favorite player of all time and im glad he played his whole career with the spurs but if he hadn't he for sure wouldn't have had 4 rings but individual accolades would have been so much better for him and it always upsets me when no one shows manu the respect he deserved ppl say he would've been nothing without the spurs but in reality without the spurs system he would have been a mvp of the league just without the team success like a kd in okc
