Jenny does nothing intimidate you? I agree all these new garden areas are exciting but seriously, I can get weak in the knees just thinking about the time required to maintain garden and landscape zones for a single acre! Not to mention I am not running a business and raising 3 great kids. Kudos my friend, you are a marvel 💚
That looks fantastic Jenny. You must be anxious to get that area buttoned up. I got a chuckle when you showed your assertive attitude telling us to pipe down about the box layout perfection comes in time. Springtime will be a beautiful show.
I LOVE your chutzpah! Shut those people down who can’t wait to make a negative comment. Gardening is a process. The work you are doing here will makes the maintenance SO much easier!
Brenna sure does enjoy her job as supervisor! I love how she just mosies around checking everything out! You and Jerry are the hardest working, most pleasant, uplifting, inspiring, and kind couple on UA-cam, Jenny. How blessed your children and Creekside family are! Long live your awesome channel, and may God continue to bless you beyond measure❣️Linda in Houston, Texas!
Good morning, Jenny ☕️Wow! Simply beautiful 🤩 Jerry does great work! Those Vego boxes are gorgeous 😍 I like the look of the crueshed stones, so pretty! Those tulips 🌷 are going to be a stunner for sure. Have a Blessed Day 😊🐶
Good morning GWC Family! I just wanna say how much I love Brinna! She’s always such a good girl and always such a good worker&ready to jump at the chance to fallow you and the family happily into the working day… I love watching her live her best life! 🐕🐾❤
The color of the garden boxes is a lovely contrast with your house siding. I was a little concerned about the pavers too... gravel is a nice soft look. Looking good!! 😎
Jenny, the terrace garden is looking absolutely amazing, and the boxes blend in so well with the trees behind the terrace! Awesome job by the Creekside team! 👏🏻👏🏻🎉
It's looking good, think the pea gravel is actually a better idea. Can't wait to see how beautiful it's going to be this spring. Love the rose & obelisk idea, that will be striking..
Mrs.Jenny Hi everything is looking so nice. I'm Tonya from Louisiana we just got our electricity back on yesterday ,but many especially down the bayou area's still are without and it could be days stull until they get turned back on down there... We are in Terrebonne Parish and Francine came in right over us , the eye winds were 100 mph stuff was flying all over. Just hours before my kids helped me pick up most of my plants in pots . My garden beds had some damages ,some of my pretty tall Hybiscus snapped all the way at the bottom. Tree branches all over etc. But everyone is Good...😊❤
This area is turning out beautifully! Oh my heavens yall have done a great job and it's not even finished yet! Seems like you've thought of everything too. Not only steps but a way to drive up there as well! The closer it is to being finished more exciting it is!!! 😄
Janky! You used one of my favorite words. ha! The vego beds look great! As does the terrace garden. Love the color of the stone. I have a vego bed I still need to install. Seems like a great product.
Back in the 70’s, (when carpet was still the common flooring), my sister moved to the country & had red clay like that and she took a jar of that with her to pick out her carpet color 😆 The stone & stairs look so great and love those garden beds 👍👏💚
Oh that view up the steps is gonna be just fine as frogs hair ❤ I could watch Jerry run the machines all day! It never ceases to amaze me how accurate he is & I can’t put pour hummingbird food from my pitcher to the feeder glass without sugar water everywhere 🤪
I have a hard time picture spaces when being described, but I knew it was going to be amazing because off all your other projects. I love how everything is turning out and your choices of stone, gravel, Vego boxes, etc. The addition of the bird feeder is simply perfect too! Wishing everyone at Creekside a glorious weekend!!!
Ok. Your back terrace wall would be perfect for small statues. They would carry through with the symmetry of the raised beds, because the way you have the raised beds gives this garden a kind of formality. They would also show up so good with the present garden that you already have and that you are going to rework. I love to see garden art with green stuff behind them. If I had the funds and my years back, I would so love to have something like this. I’m thinking about large pineapple statues spaced. Especially with your obelisk in the middle of the middle raised bed and have the “pineapples “ on top of the walls on either side and carry that same spacing all the way to the end of each side of the wall. Just my thoughts. Thank you for letting me garden through you!
beautiful landscape garden and home. I would choose that same color of those boxes. Love love. My garden is only on its 4 season so only 20% of plants are leaping. My neighbors keep tell me its beautiful with all the garden beds i have been creating but, i'm not proud of them yet, since majority of the plants are sleeping & creeping. Love that saying, use it all the time.
OMG Jenny, you read my mind re the obelisk! Saw the box at the top of the stairs and thought "this needs something tall like an obelisk" and there you are saying you have already ordered it. Also agree that it does not need the pavers!! Well done everybody - you are a brilliant team and so hard working!! I admire that so very much. Best wishes from the UK
Wow!! Everything is really coming together so beautifully!! You are a tiny tornado of energy little lady! And I mean that as a huge compliment 😊💕💕 I don’t know how you do so much in a day!? I’m living vicariously through your fun videos 😂 I love seeing the progress, and it going to be truly incredible when it’s all done! I can’t wait to see it all in the spring!! And I’m also excited to see what you decide to grow in those beautiful Vego beds!! I soooo want some of those tall ones! I have a neuromuscular disease that is progressive so my body continues to challenge me. Those tall beds are the best thing ever for people with mobility issues or those that just cannot bend so gracefully anymore 😉😜
That is gorgeous! The only thing that I would change is turning the middle box to match the others and placing it between the back boxes. Then you could add a bench and some type of water feature in front of it. so your view coming up the stairs would be the water feature. Plus, it would offer a bit of a landing instead of facing the side of a box.
This video came at the PERFECT time. I have been looking everywhere for an extra tall raised planter. Thanks to you, I found exactly what I wanted. Thank you for providing the link!
You two just amaze me!! Do you ever slow down? Lol. Love all the work that you have done. Can't wait till it's all finished and landscaped. I know it will just be beautiful. 😊❤
It is so difficult to foresee all the issues with projects like this. The walls, steps and layout are great bones to begin with. You have made beautiful changes. Sometimes you just have to live with it all to really see what works for you. I am a big fan of hard scape and you have done that in spades. The pea gravel will look great, as will the planter boxes. I hope the drainage is spot on. I, too, have clay soil, and have pretty much dug it out of my beds around the house and replaced it all over the years. You are going to love the finished project, and will be able to enjoy the finished product for years to come. The lighting will look amazing.
I am so happy that I discovered your videos! While I love the videos and the ideas that I get when watching, I especially love the "realness" of you. The reminders to show yourself grace and sharing that, "Jenny gets chippy," are so welcome. As a lady that sometimes gets so focused on translating the vision in my head to a garden reality that I forget to take a breath, I need the reminder that I am human and that everything doesn't have to be perfect. I also enjoy seeing the NC countryside. My inlaws lived in Concord NC and seeing your gardens remind me of their place. They have since passed on and we no longer make the trek from our home in western NY to visit them so I miss seeing the "red clay." Looking forward to seeing the planter boxes in their glory next year!! 25:44
I love the idea of tulips filling those beds in the spring! It'll be beautiful! Being all of 5'2" myself and also living in the south where it's the Devil's armpit most of the summer, I've been concerned about the height of your beds since you first mentioned them and the metal burning as you're leaning in to harvest. Even if you get short cut flowers, that'll still put them about 6 ft tall from the ground. But, I love the terraced area -- what a dream space!
Have you thought about using chipped slate instead of pea gravel for the base of the the raised bed garden? I think it is easier to walk on. Project looks great.
Love the garden beds Jenny, lucky you girl. We older folks need them for comfort! It’s going to be a beautiful place for you to enjoy. That Jackson has grown up as I’ve watched, you are blessed ❤
Jenny I am just going to go ahead and say this I AM SO JEALOUS!!! Lol The whole area is fantastic, what a blessing to have such a beautiful garden!🌺🌸🌼🌻💐🌷🌹🥀
Good morning Jenny, the boxes are going to look great, I can’t wait to see them once they’re planted. I used to have a kitty that would follow me around while I was gardening just like Brynna does with you.
One of my Vegos is 4 years old and still like new. I loved it so much I got more to plant in around my studio business. Clients always asking where I got them. Maintenance free.
Omgahhh! I would love beds like that to save my back after a few spinal surgeries. I can’t do like I use to either. It all looks lovely. I haven’t seen a project y’all have done that I didn’t like. Can’t wait to see it completed. Will you still have a veggie/ herb garden somewhere?
Lol just love your sense of humor 🤣 keeping it real. The boxes look amazing up there. I can't wait until next spring and see what a beautiful display of flowers you plant! Question: So those are pretty deep, will you be putting anything else but soil?❤
Fantastic video! Thanks for sharing and providing the link for the raised Vego garden beds, I'll definitely check them out. Can't wait to see how you landscape the revitalized area. :-)
Oh Jennt, God has challenged you mightily this year and His rewards are great! It's so lovely! When I saw the planters from below, I thought...5 pointed star with obelisk in center. But from level, I don't think it's deep enough. Whatever you do will be great.
The terrace is looking great! I think the pivot away from using the pavers was wise. I was concerned it would make that area extremely hot. It will be exciting to watch you develop the flower beds surrounding the space.
The terrace garden is amazing I think the Rise Up Lavender would be awesome with the grey wall and dark blue boxes on your obelisk! Can't wait to see the boxes blooming! Thanks for the tip on the hot pepper seed and clips. I have a raccoon, possum, squirrel problem. I have actually had a raccoon run off with one of my suet feeders!
Really like the new garden area! The following is said with love - instead of spending half the video telling us what you plan to do perhaps you could do it and let us watch 🌱🤔
Yes these beds will house flowers, with some herbs sprinkled in. We've done vegetable farming on a large scale when we first began Creekside. Flowers are more my passion than veggies 😉

Looks great Jenny. Adds welcome structure and a touch of formality. It’s a real coup. You must be delighted.
Love love LOVE! 💙 The steps are amazing, and the view!!! Super excited for y'all 😍
Good morning, Jenny ☕️Wow! Simply beautiful 🤩 Jerry does great work! Those Vego boxes are gorgeous 😍 I like the look of the crueshed stones, so pretty! Those tulips 🌷 are going to be a stunner for sure. Have a Blessed Day 😊🐶

Thanks so much 😊
The steps are looking good. A small area for a bench SOMEWHERE up the slope would provide a great lookout over the new garden, the house and beyond.😊
I can’t believe the garage door wasn’t closed with all the dust! You’re really coming along, and it looks great!
All I can say is, just gorgeous! What a reward for your hard word. Thank you for taking us along with you.
It's looking good, think the pea gravel is actually a better idea. Can't wait to see how beautiful it's going to be this spring. Love the rose & obelisk idea, that will be striking..
I think so too!

Woohoo!! Looks fantastic! ❤ I love the navy blue!
I love your terrace garden and your new raised bed planters! You are so lucky for rain also!!

They are just jealous

Glad I could help!
I really like the pea gravel solution. It will look softer & cooler than a patio I believe. Also less formal which fits the vibe of this garden space.
You two just amaze me!! Do you ever slow down? Lol. Love all the work that you have done. Can't wait till it's all finished and landscaped. I know it will just be beautiful. 😊❤
This new garden area is going to be awesome! Can hardly wait!
They sure look amazing. Can't wait to see what you filled them up with ❤
Oh my gosh Jenny, the color of the boxes looks great, and goes with the house color too.C Can't wait to see how the Creekside team finishes this space

That was a good pivot, Jenny & Jerry!
Wow this new garden scape is beautiful! New plants, new garden beds and oh my gosh Jackson is so tall and looks full grown!
Beautiful! Mila, our great Dane says hi to Brynna!
Brynna says Hello!!
It looks great! I think the pea gravel is a much better idea over the pavers anyway.
Love your channel.
Looks fantastic great job everyone. Thanks again for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Looks beautiful Jenny!
Very neat and tidy with the boxes. I like neat and tidy. Really beautiful. God bless and lots of love from South Africa. Enjoy! ❤
Oh Jenny it’s going to be Amazing! I have wood boxes that have seen better days and have been pondering Vego 32”.
I like the look of this. I would put the pavers between your paved driveway and the bottom wall
Oh Jennt, God has challenged you mightily this year and His rewards are great! It's so lovely! When I saw the planters from below, I thought...5 pointed star with obelisk in center. But from level, I don't think it's deep enough. Whatever you do will be great.

I love the new area. Those beds will take so much soil 😮
Just a beautiful area. Love the patio, bricks & boxes. Can’t wait to see the finished project!
The new garden boxes are awesome
Looks fantastic. Love from Australia.

love love love the stone steps...huge transformation on the site
Oh wow, it’s beautiful! The planters are great.
Good morning Jenny and all. Can’t wait to see the progress continue and completed for you.
The terrace garden is amazing I think the Rise Up Lavender would be awesome with the grey wall and dark blue boxes on your obelisk! Can't wait to see the boxes blooming! I’m in the process of filling my new raised beds. I’m trying vegetable gardening in “boxes” for the first time. I’m excited!💚 Your place looks fab!
Have fun!!!
I'm really loving how this space turned out. It gorgeous!
Gorgeous love the color💙

Really like the new garden area! The following is said with love - instead of spending half the video telling us what you plan to do perhaps you could do it and let us watch 🌱🤔
Yes those are videos to come. We have done several videos on this project
What an amazing project! Really enjoy keeping up with the progress. 🌻
Thanks so much! 😊
Great job! It's beautiful! 😊❤
Looking good. It will be quite different than the original garden-both nice looks. The stone you picked is really nice.
I thought surely when I saw you putting ray's beds and you were gonna plant vegetables in there to feed your family with Guess I was wrong
Yes these beds will house flowers, with some herbs sprinkled in. We've done vegetable farming on a large scale when we first began Creekside. Flowers are more my passion than veggies 😉
It looks so pretty
Absolutely beautiful !!!
