Maaaaan!!! Its brutal out there! I was glad that rain did fall, cuz those clouds moved in, a breeze picked up and it felt great right before I got wet up off camera lol!
When it's like that, I take what I can get! I had some other opportunities, but I was a little rusty with my fish approach and ended up having a few off drop downs... Lessons learned though! I'm glad you enjoyed the Livescope footage! Thanks for watching!
I totally agree with your analogy on feeling the fight vs boat flipping em soon as possible and getting em to the table. I'll never own a ultralight rod because the structure I fish requires a medium action rod, and the reel is 6.2:1 gear ratio, picking that line up quick. Keep doing what you do 🎣
Yep, that's my thing too! Get em out the water and to the table as quick as possible lol!! And you got the right idea with the tackle! Stay at em. And thanks, I really appreciate it!!!
Great video, I’ve never been to Lake Houston but I’m headed there with the kids and canoe real soon. Looking forward to letting them catch some crappie suppers
New Sub... glad to see somebody catching um in the summertime!! I haven't been out since May.. I know they there but they are hard to catch in this Heat.. tight lines Angler 🎣🐟🐟
I really appreciate it! And summer time can be tough due to the heat but it’s the time of year where I see thick schools on the lakes I fish! Just gotta grin and bear it lol! Thanks and stay at em!
Pretty hot water, 10:1 gear ratio is a burner of a reel! Do you put ice in your cooler when you're keeping crappie? I haven't been keeping any on my kayak, but will probably will soon. Little tough out there, but still a great outing Will. Thanks for sharing!
The temps have been crazy down here in Texas. Surface temps are getting up to around 93 degrees! I like to get em in quick too lol!! And yes, I put them on ice as soon as I get them off the hook! Most coolers 35qts or smaller are pretty good for a kayak. I have one that’s 38qts and one that’s 25qts.
Love the fish finder split screen. That’s bad ass.
Thanks! I’ll be sprinkling it in to my videos for sure!
I know what you mean…Just good to be out on the water! I agree on getting them to the table too!!! The sole purpose why I Crappie fish😂🤣😂
You feel me?? Lol! Definitely some great table fare and one of the main reasons why I chase em too! Thanks!!!
Yes sir...I see ya big dawg...that heat too much for me...thanks for letting me live through you for the day 😂👍🏿💪🏿

very good show Will. Looked like a very pleasant day. not much traffic near you.
I love those low traffic days! Not getting waked constantly is dope lol! And I think the rain that rolled in had a lot to do with that. Thanks!
It has been tough for the last few weeks. Five or six keepers makes a good meal! Good video Will & I like the Helm livescope PIP!

Question bro. Which transducer do you have for your livescope LVS32 or LVS34? Thanks
I have the LVS32.
