I was out hunting coyotes a couple weeks back and dec pulled up just to make sure i wasnt hunting deer 2 days out of season. I understood that cause deer season just ended. We had a great conversation for about 20 minutes. They're not doing this for no reason some people fill all the buckets they can with no remorse and thats how fisheries are destroyed

3 passions flowing here 1. The passion for the sport 2. The respectful passion for it and the laws to maintain balance in our ecosystem 3. The passion to be cordial and have fun with it when it’s appropriate. Not all “hall monitors” have an ego trip telling you to not run in the hallways, because they care about your safety and others, and then being replied with “ok but just watch how fast I can skip real quick” doesn’t mean they wanted to break the rules, they’re just proud about their “skills”, and the Warden indulged him to show off whilst also doing his job. I once knew a friend who I went fishing with (I was naive at the time (1st generation American)) and didn’t know you needed a license and everything. He ended up throwing his trash everywhere, and I figured we were doing something wrong when a truck pulled up to the other side of the lake and he quickly told me to grab everything and run. 😅

Interacting with game or wildlife wardens is a delicate art as there is never a situation where they couldn't find something to throw the book at you with if they wanted to it's one of those jeopardy moments that happens in the US whenever you interact with law enforcement... Whole interaction is designed to trip you up and potentially let them do whatever they want... This is why you use kind of good humor human to human contact and act act with class with these individuals it is literally the reason that they do not delve deep...
