However, he preferred the original version because it "didn’t feel like that jazzy melody lent toward a dance remix." Skrillex approached Utada in 2017 while they were in London to collaborate on a project with Poo Bear.They decided to work on new material "just for fun" after the remix of "Don't Think Twice" fell through, and wrote "Face My Fears" in one hour.

I don't see why that's so crazy. She met Riku for like 5 min and then went into a magical dimension where time doesn't pass. She practically time traveled and didn't know him anywhere near long enough while he was a kid for it to be weird. They also have a few things in common. They both spent a lot of time in the Realm of Darkness, are both Masters, and were willing to self sacrifice for their friends. They have things to bond over, I can see why someone would ship them.
I don't think they're ever really intended to be in that kinda relationship. The English translation always Seems to paint kairi as the romantic interest when the original is platonic. 😅

Yeah Face My Fears is my least favorite OP but it has grown on me over the years. I’ve never been a fan of dubstep or EDM so… However, like you said the visuals for it are killer. I love how they find new ways to recap the others games with each new OP. Sanctuary is my fave OP for the series. Part of it is nostalgia because KH2 was actually the first KH game I played (I was ten leave me alone). But I also just really like the song.

I think it’s because it’s kinda sacrilegious to complain about the music in kh but dubstep is a deal breaker for many people. To this day I still don’t like Face my Fears, and indifferent to Don’t Think Twice: One Last Kiss is the superior song and I think Evangelion snatched the rights so they were stuck with Don’t Think Twice.

I feel like they dumbed everyone down and I LOVE sora and how goofy he is but in this game he felt so insufferable I really disliked the direction they went in with his voice acting and “humor” and everyone was speaking in slow motion I found it kinda weird which leads me to think they had a different direction with the script. I feel like the gameplay was too much as wel, you know when they give you so many options you don’t know where to look? I feel the game would have been much better without the attractions as well. I don’t like how things ended I feel like nothing really happened in this game other than to tie loose ends. But even then I would have liked it I just did not like the characters specially sora and kairi I found them so insufferable it kinda ruined my experience of the gamr

KH3 was in development for like 7 years and that’s because they switched engines after 2 years it wasn’t in development the entire 13 years
