a huge advice for ppl who don't wanna adquiere tunnel carpal syndrome, put block in WHEEL CLICK, and reload in WHEEL UP/DOWN, that will help you incredibly with your reload shots, slash shots reloads , half steps reloads, and butterfly/double butterflys in general. Playing this way you'll distribute the whole muscular effort between your two arms and hands.( i already have carpal tunnel syndrome but because i've played too many games since i was a baby. Anyway i can still play up to this day using this keybinds.)

whats the purpose of blocking after slash in butterfly? just installed today and trying to learn everything. is it as simple as just blocking damage pre-emptively or does the animation do something useful
It's mainly to cancel the slash animation and allow you to do up to 3 butterflies in 1 jump once you get good enough however. You can pre-emptively block shots but sometimes the shots will go through, other times you'll completely block it, or you'll block a portion of the shots. Know this is a bit late but if you go where your gunz is installed and click inside the folder you should see a folder named CUSTOM and in there you can put whatever .PNG file you want as a crosshair you just name or rename it to crosshair.png

? what do you mean exactly kinda hard to follow what you're saying. If you're having a problem with blocking after the slash then you may be inputting your slash before or at the same time as you dash
I can't really help with aim unless im looking at it so just gonna give a rundown of things Make sure your sensitivity isn't too high for you to control properly Try using movement more to your advantage to aim If you're new to pc shooters id probably advise using kovaaks/aimlabs.
why arent there more shooters with 1v1 ranked, the worst thing about online games for me is it is not about playing your best, but keeping the vibes high and thinking for the whole team at once

i wonder if i should come to private server and start teaching long forgotten movovement, tricks and tips for people. cose the level of skill in private server never really saw the Day of top pros playing there, there is alot of lost of movement and tecnicues lost . even basic things. people just dont know or use. Eitherway. i could single handedly come to the game and teach everyone alot of forgotten stuff. wich nobody uses. i quess the reason is that people who were actually good at the game and knew all the advanced movement tricks, quit the game instead of went to Private servers to teach people the stuff. There was a Diffrence betweeen the 00.001% Top Pros than the 1% Pros . and over the past 5-6 years ive watched these private server videos, ive noticed that in all of them , the movement is very basic, nobody knows advanced style at all
Gunz needs players that are willing to teach so by all means teach people if that's what you want to do. The main point of the videos you've probably been seeing is that we want to teach people the basics of the game there's almost no point in teaching someone new to the game how to DHS/Forbidden Step/Windstep/Dash Break etc. Besides all that if you feel like you can contribute then I encourage you to make videos.

Almost every games mechanics become trivial using AHK LOL. Id bet you 1000$ that you wouldn't be any good using ahk on this game. Like what even is this comment. It's like saying aiming is so trivial when I have an aimbot.
I've tried cycling through weapons with scroll, I find its too imprecise and also too much latency, easily end up overscrolling and ending up with the wrong thing which makes the move fail, I guess it depends a lot on what mouse you use. I do use scroll wheel up for sword at the moment though. You don't have to use the way its shown in this video if it feels too weird.
Yeah I def don't recommend you play the way I play. I do have a friend with Razer Orochi v2 he mentioned that it was hard to use middle mouse button for reload on it.
There's no bunny hopping in this game. Jumping is very easy to chain because you can buffer the input before you touch the ground. 0:20 - 0:45 explains buffering jump.
