I hope you guys enjoyed the second episode of our animation series! Sorry it took a little while, the next episode will be following a lot quicker this time, promise! =) If you haven't seen our tutorial about the basics of the animation make sure to check that out first! -> ua-cam.com/video/3UTNkagiuYg/v-deo.html Also make sure to subscribe to Chris and show him some love for his awesome work!
Gonna save this video and watch it when I have more time. I mainly focused on animation in Dreams, but I am sure you're gonna teach me lots of stuff again!
Sakku you have shift your puppets weight over the supporting leg to be able to pick the other of the ground. Try standing up doing that motion without and you'll no doubt will fall over. Balance is extremely important in character animation.
Beautiful, simply beautiful. I spend hours on animating my custom puppets and it usually looks clunky. Not smooth. I feel like Dreams does the in-between for you so that you only need key poses but idk why mine don’t come out smooth.
Oh so the simple way is to make one long animation for idles. What I did I made 2 separate idle animation and trigger the more dynamic one and it get triggered after not moving for a certain amount of time
I would pay money to figure out how to just make a based Dying light/Mirrors edge style map/AI as well as being able to use weapons/items along the way, thats All Im asking for.
