Here it is!! I worked so hard on this the last days and I'm so happy I was able to finish it for today! :D REALLY hope you guys enjoyed and found it helpful, if so please give it a like and share it with other dreamers
Besides thermo, there is real-time rendering. Do you have any tips on managing that? Because sometimes when I have a 50% thermo usage while building, it doesn't mean the game will run without drops in frame rate or resolution. So anything will be appreciated
@@nedrapaul4135 Are you on a normal PS4? It's quite a difference using a pro and especially a PS5 now! When the frames go very low you mostly used too many paintings or sculpts/physicals in one place, sadly you can only try to avoid that!
You won't believe how useful these videos are, they will surely propel your channel forward because this content is limited and yours is quality. Keep it up👍
fantastic vid, all your hard work and help is always greatly appreciated. cant believe how great this is on ps5 , it runs so smooth and fast. just need to find some time to get some stuff done.
Sakkuuuuuuu :) Thanks as always. I have been enjoying your content for a long time now. I'd consider myself quite experienced with Dreams by now but I have never spinned my scupture like you did there with surface smearing though :o
@@SakkusMind Now I hope I can give some of the joy back soon with our Enterprise D Project and my own, Those Childhood Summers :) Keep rocking and see you soon
Fantastic vid, man. Always really helpful but done in a very entertaining way. It's obvious the effort you put into your videos and Dreams. The final piece looks great! Good luck at the Impys!
Thanks for this video, Sakku :-) Your tips are always so valuable and useful, I especially recommend people to follow your tip about "take inspiration from others". It is the best way to start, taking inspiration by artists who amaze us with their creations! Excellent video!
I'm always happy to help, glad that you enjoyed it as much! =) Also, absolutely it's so helpful to start with a reference and then more and more make your own thing out of it!
Your work is soo amazing, I love your dreams content. I definitily think all of the dreams content creators deserve more subscribers and views. Such a shame that many people doesn't know what dreams is capable of.
one of the biggest obstacles i faced after a few months was TREE assets... can make my own, but made a scene quickly and downloaded a few.... filled up physical painting quota fast... then filled up my "things" quota (1024 "things") by using these trees where people sculpt one clump of leaves and group it with the precedent work until there are maybe 80 nested layers, making it impossible to edit say leaf colour or movement and taking 80 of my 1024 "things" for every single tree model. cars were bad for "thing count" as well, but more understandable.
@@SakkusMind hey man i've got a little question, you know what the trees you used for the golden forest are called? because they look amazing and i want to plant some of those in my house irl
Great video. I'm sure that I'll be using a few of these tips myself. Thanks for putting in the work to think this out and make this! I appreciate it. :)
I haven't finished the video yet, but I just had to give a preliminary comment that I really liked the subtle FFVII Theme playing in the background. :)
Great video, I still have a lot of improvements to make in my skills and I think these tips will help a lot. To be honest I forgot about the grade and effects gadget for a while lol
A lot of good tips. I have a question: Is there a way to select all models you placed (in edit mode) at the same time? I made a railing and its not a simple shape. Copying/ Cloning in Objectmode to create a curve for stairs up and down as transition looks to rough and makes the outlines ziczac. So in Edit mode they would not do that because the model will clue there toegether.....is there an option for that? Greetings.
are the move controllers worth it while playing dreams. I use the normal controller and can still make thing s that look very good but it takes a lot of effort and time. is it easier with the other controllers?
At 4:30 you seam to mark all the objects of the same kind but not every single object in the room, how do you do that? Or are they all grouped together?
Thanks so much for this. I'll be breaking down each bit when I get the chance! On a side note... Is there an R3 equivalent on the move controllers? 🤓 Edit: just realised there's a massive "PLAY" button right Infront of me in the main menu! 🤦🏼♂️

That clip of the game you make in the beta
That part would be freaking scary in vr

If you are creating a lot, especially working with smearing and drawing I highly recommend them! To me they are also more fun ^^
I like linking the x and y resolution so the pixelated look keeps its "squareness"
That's definitely the way to go for the pixel art yeah! :)
The one dislike was someone who disliked the video
for no good reason
At 4:30 you seam to mark all the objects of the same kind but not every single object in the room, how do you do that?
Or are they all grouped together?
Yes I like to put all elements that are the same into one group so I can make tweaks to those specific things faster :)
I was just wondering how do you draw flecks?
How are you selecting multiple clones of the same object at once at around 4:45?
They are just grouped so if I press double X within that group I select them all ^^
I love this game
Nice tutorial tips I’ve used but never shared
Keep em coming mate you are doing great! :)
How can you make that enormous level? The memory is full with smaller levels
Use the Sculpture Detail tool to reduce detail, and use cloning to reduce the number of unique sculpts.
I need to get better at thermo control im at 27 and all I have is a character and flat price of land 😂
Thanks so much for this. I'll be breaking down each bit when I get the chance! On a side note... Is there an R3 equivalent on the move controllers? 🤓
Edit: just realised there's a massive "PLAY" button right Infront of me in the main menu! 🤦🏼♂️
Thank you for watching, I hope it helps you! :)
Is it even possible to make an open world in dreams?
Yeah and no, you can definitely make big worlds, maybe semi open but you would need to transition it to another level at some point ^^
Sakku is this remixable ?
I'll be sharing it as a tutorial kind of thing in the Dreamiverse too soon!
Hey sh!t. Your Termos is amazing! So low... Wow
12:42 was REALLY looking forward to hearing "turd"...... But alas, disappointment.
How to reduce the thermal: Get a PS5.... OH WAIT.... 🙄 😂
