I'm so shocked that I broke this record. I never thought I would ever have a world record, and then it just happened. I was doing the solve like normal, and then the cube was solved all of a sudden, and then I wrote it down and it was 16 moves. Thanks to Margot and Aedan for being such awesome companions with me during this competition! It was such a blast hosting this competition in my hometown, and getting a world record was so unexpected.
