I am very excited to get my first record, and a world record at that!!! This is by far the highlight of my cubing career, and something I never thought would actually happen. I would like to thank Levi for organizing this competition, and all the work they do organizing FMC competitions that I can attend. Levi as a friend, and these FMC competitions give me motivation to practice, and improve my FMC results, this would never be possible without them. Out of everyone in the world to tie a record with, FMC single with Levi is the best I could ever have asked for. I would also like to thank my parents for always supporting me in everything I do, driving me to competitions hours away before I could go on my own, encouraging me every time I get a result I am disappointed in, and celebrating every time I get a result I’m excited about. Cubing is a great hobby, and I am so grateful I found the community and started going to competitions, it has changed my life more than any other hobby has, and has introduced me to a great community of people.
After being so close to a clock record back in 2019/2020 and never getting one I was sure my chances at any record were over. I am so happy I was able to pull through with FMC and get one!!

Even though Kalindu has requested to compete under any controlled condition, under any delegate, WDC didn't consider and didn't included his request to their report even. Bit suspicious 🤔. Seems like someone in WDC wanted a long ban for Kalindu. Who knows, people do weird things for weird reasons. No harm giving him chance to prove.

i get all my pb singles in clock i had a 10.5x and then i got a 6.54 out of no where on the scramble where someone got a 2.59 flip but she went with no flip because the scramble was so easy

The scrambles are 12 moves right ? Do you think we will see a 12 mover in the future ?
The scrambles are not 12 moves. The scrambles are actually padded out to be 24-25 moves on average, and have an optimal solution of about 18 moves on average (making even the possibility of a 16 very rare). Out of all scrambles in all 3x3 events ever the best scramble is 12 moves optimal (out of hundreds of thousands of scrambles). I don’t think there will ever be a scramble that short in FMC due to there not being nearly as many attempts as normal 3x3. Due to the rarity of it even being possible to solve a scramble in 12 moves, and the fact that the solution would need to be findable, I don’t think we’ll see a 12 ever, and likely nothing under 15 ever.
@@AedanBryant oh yeah sorry that's what I wanted to say ; a scramble is valid only if the optimal solution is 12+ moves. So it's possible. But what I got wrong was thinking that there was a lot of this kind of scramble, thanks for the explanation
