Andy! You have gone and done it! Yes, you've given me the itch to get one. Here in Canada, they are regulated, with Crosman steel 5.1 grain BBs at 430 fps. And we also get full auto. We can buy Crosman 300 round "Rapid Reload" mags with 2 CO2s. The 300 rounds are spring fed, 25 at a time, into the firing column for another 25 BB burst. Our cost here is $299.99 for the SBR, with the 300 round mag at $89.99, and 2500 BBs for $8.99 and 25 count 12g CO2s at $25.50... So, I am ordering myself one for Christmas, with boxes of CO2's and tubes of BBs...Now I'm thinking of all the accessories I need to add. This is going to be fun. And, that's what this hobby is all about, isn't it? Thanks for the great review.
@daviddunn748 lol no you don't. The rapid reload mags are terrible/break real quick. They don't even rapid reload the full mag "25 bbs" like it says it does on the package. You'll probably get like 10 or 15 at a time it doesn't catch them properly. Had to return mine and just stuck to the regular magazines
I have the full auto version. Its great fun and here are some tips : dont get the quick reload 300bb mag..it sucks and is sooo heavy on the gun. Get 2 extra normal ones instead. Also get some reddot sight without zoom. The iron sights suck and are super thick. I also have a quick release sling mount and one point sling witch is great when you have to refill the mags and dont have to put the gun on the ground etc. Have a great time with it :)
I also picked this up from Andy's old review this summer. (also from Canada). I definitely had too much fun accessorizing it, already got a scope, bipod, silencers (different length ones), and a laser. I saw from somewhere, there's silicone mag covers that you can put on the bottom, but can't find them available in Canada. The bottom on the normal mags are quite sharp and easily get caught on things.
Still got mine a couple of years later, and the speed loader still works fine after the initial snags, a little Pelloil in the bb canister sorted it out. I use a red dot sight but a compact scope looks a real worthwhile addition. cant get over how accurate it is for a bb gun! Great review Andy!
I can't keep buying those... The tommy, the MP40, the AK47, this one... And over here full auto is allowed. 50bb's in 3 sec is insane. I buy 5000-bottles now 🙂 Then we have some PCP's, a Cowboy gun, some pistols. And a misses who isn't as amused as I am ;-)
I totally agree Andy, I bought one of these for my partner. I took the horrible plastic lump off the front & fitted an airsoft AR15 style short outer barrel extension & flash hider, a hawke red dot up top, a bipod & a 300 round hi cap mag. Sadly you didn't mention that the SBR is field strpable much like an actual AR15 & even has a "bolt carrier" that looks just like the real thing. Personally I have a Webley Nemesis X with a bipod & scope, I like my target shooting, I also invested in a couple of the 14 round mags from the PCP one which I find more convenient than the standard 2x7 round ones. If you want real can shooting fun though, I also have a Tokyo Marui airsoft H&K MP7 GBB, proper bolt group inside, with more kick than a 22LR & can dump a 40 round mag in a couple of seconds, short bursts are best though. They are simple to maintain & work on for anyone with a bit of ability, spares are plentiful, as are upgrades if you don't skirmish & want some more fps. Mine also has a small Bifrost muzzle device that gives tracer effect & simulates muzzle flash, it looks great in the dark. All our airguns (& there are a few more) were bought after much research & watching your reviews. Keep on doing what you're doing, great job.
Ok so i took off my serious pants only to find my fun pants in the wash ! So seriously exposed with a bacon buttie in hand here goes nothing. As ive said before , not a replica fan BUT the play value offered by Crossman here is off the scale . Functional catches and levers , enough rails to hang your hat off , clever mag system and extended trigger time also . Just the tool to send younger and some older kids amongst us interest levels through the roof and towards areas a little more demanding and dare i say serious in our great sport . Looked like 14 shots then jammed 😆 I’ve got one of these, they are fun for a bit but there’s a massive market for something with more power and quality, will anyone ever produce that though!?
Morning all! I have two of this in full auto: DPMS SBR and A4-P and it’s great fun. Sorry for You that You can’t have full auto in UK, you’re missing much much fun.
Cracking review Andy. My wife just asked me why I was sitting here with a silly grin on my face. Never, never be shy of having fun, in my view it's what makes life worth living. One word of advice though to people applying for an S1 firearms certificate; in the section asking for your reason for requiring the firearm, don't whatever you do enter, "because they're fun".😂
Hello from Finland! I got one a couple of years ago, labeled with the absurdly long name. Here, however, it is legal to to have one in full auto. So, no special license needed, I just went to the supermarket store and picked it from the shelf. One note to anyone using this in the heat of a summer's day: it may fire full auto even when chosen to shoot semi-auto. It might be a misfunction in my perticular piece, but I would like to inform everyone of this possibility.
I bought one of these after the first review, and as stated it’s the Dogs. Difficult to differentiate from my KRISS Defiance, .22LR. However, note: when fitting the co2 capsules, the left one must be fitted / punctured first, ( magazine has ‘First’ stamped accordingly), otherwise there’s gas leak. At 15 m, red dot is easier to use than scope.
Great review update, made me go out and get a compact scope, it really is accurate enough to warrant it. You did not mention the speed loader, I know you had problems originally, mine is functioning well and makes topping up a doddle Best wishes for 2024

Nice! Another Co2 replica on the list! haha and you say your are not a huge fan of military replicas... And love the set up you did Mr Wick would be proud
@@goldilocks913these are full auto in the USA. Transferrable machine guns are legal but highly regulated here and are usually $10000 to $60000. Ammo in a full auto will bankrupt you in a hurry! I would have thought the price would be less without the Panther DPMS name on the side. Bought mine in 2019. I wish there were commercially available hop-up parts out there for increased power and durability.
Look around on UA-cam, there's a modder that does work to increase power (just only the internals, not external mods) for the Panther DPMS/Crosman SBR types with simple pieces you can get at the local hardware store.
You really need to show us if both CO2 cartridges actually emptied. I have 3 magazines and none of them actually work correctly. Meaning it only uses the cartridge on the left. And when I go to replace the left cartridge, the one on the right side gasses out. At that point its useless to change the right side one and just replace the left one, and leave an empty one in the right side. I have a solution though. I plan on marketing it to users of the DPMS SBR. It not only corrects for and eliminates the C02, But is also upgrades the unit to 1100 psi PCP air(vs 900 psi CO2). Its a great adaptor. Easy to install, and upgrades to 13 cubic inches of air. Now it really cranks.........I plan on launching sales sometime in 2024 or early 2025. I still need to work out a few logistics first, and launch the LLC. I figure there are around 1 - 2 million of these guns out there that need this mod.

Hello Andy I just couldn't keep my hands of this gun anymore and ordered it on a black weekend deal that way I got a decent scope asvel for a super price its really sad to see how the British government are harassing their country men who just want som fun with a garden plinker at least we get the full auto version her in Norway but it might of course change before you know it
It's very disappointing that it doesn't have a bb reservoir. I have an airsoft gun with a bb reservoir in the clip. I realize there's co2 in the clip but I'm sure they could have done something.
HI, I cannot tell you how much money its has cost me watching your videos 🙂 After your initial review of this rifle I went to buy one only to find out it had been replaced with the R1 (in black and sand). I have to say I love it, a great rifle, only down side is they changed the stock design to something that does feel a bit cheap and nasty. Does any one know if the stock of the SBR will fit an R1?
I have a Tokyo Maru HK416D replica, it’s a rechargeable battery powered semi or full auto. It’s an air soft 6mm bb at around 1j oule and it’t great fun for tin cans, the mag also holds 88 bb’s meaning less time filling it and more time shooting. It’s a full weight replica and very accurate to the original. Being airsoft you’re allowed to have full auto in this country unlike air guns. It wasn’t cheap at over £500 but is very well made.
I’m a resident of India and I want to buy this same model from India, but it’s so expensive. It’s 1200$ or more here which is a daylight robbery over some replica 2 piece, 12 Gram Co2 BB gun. I like the American price which is about 200-250$ which is fair and reasonable.

Hello Andy I just couldn't keep my hands of this gun anymore and ordered it on a black weekend deal that way I got a decent scope asvel for a super price its really sad to see how the British government are harassing their country men who just want som fun with a garden plinker at least we get the full auto version her in Norway but it might of course change before you know it
Judging by the smile on your face I think they were NOX canisters not CO2 😂
Can you remove the side rails?
Where can i get that scope?
Top class video and much enjoyed.
It's very disappointing that it doesn't have a bb reservoir. I have an airsoft gun with a bb reservoir in the clip. I realize there's co2 in the clip but I'm sure they could have done something.
❗️I soooo want one of these but I couldn't find one at the time so had to get a Sig: MPX and a JG: Huntex-M4.
Wow no more panther arms smh that was the best part of the branding lol. Happy mine has the cool panther logo.
Does any one know if the stock of the SBR will fit an R1?
does this have hop-up?
Good looking gun, if ony it was a pcp .22. 👍
So can we have semi auto air rifles now
Sorry Andy but Umarex Hk416 0.43 RAM is the best military copy C02 gun.
VERY COOL THANKS FOR SHARING ANDY🇬🇧👍🏼
What is the red dot sight mate
My next buy....again nice review.
Is it possible to use 4.5 plastic bbs
You need to try the full auto version
I have a Tokyo Maru HK416D replica, it’s a rechargeable battery powered semi or full auto. It’s an air soft 6mm bb at around 1j oule and it’t great fun for tin cans, the mag also holds 88 bb’s meaning less time filling it and more time shooting. It’s a full weight replica and very accurate to the original. Being airsoft you’re allowed to have full auto in this country unlike air guns.
It wasn’t cheap at over £500 but is very well made.
Can you legally own a full auto air rifle in the UK?
nope!
@AAROnair gutted! Always been a dream since child hood to dump a few magazines full auto lol
I can’t believe you took off your eye protection.
*_You’ll shoot your eye out!!_*
Looks good just a shame it miss fired after about 5 shots and then again after another 5 or so.
I’m a resident of India and I want to buy this same model from India, but it’s so expensive. It’s 1200$ or more here which is a daylight robbery over some replica 2 piece, 12 Gram Co2 BB gun. I like the American price which is about 200-250$ which is fair and reasonable.
Any good for when burglars come?
