We're taking a look back at my old review of Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance. I'm not sure what I was thinking with some of these choices. We have a let's play channel here - www.youtube.com/@realdegenerateplays , an anime channel - www.youtube.com/@magicaljill and we have a store, cosmobunny.shop, where you can use code DJAY123 for 10% off your first purchase! Much love!
Boy that video quality has sure changed over the years. It reminds me of when you go back and see a trailer from 10 years ago and how it isn't as clear.
Dream Drop Distance is a mixed bag for me to this day. I love some stuff like Riku but they really toned down Sora's writing here. He acted more immature than in KH 1.
It's very good on the 3DS! Snappy and responsive. Especially if you get a grip for the system to facilitate the faster gameplay than a lot of the DS era games I think it's really fun. I find the console controller more comfortable for longer play sessions But I actually went out on my way after playing this, A couple years ago, to pick up the 3DS version as well. Makes me feel old though. They don't even make games for it anymore haha. Thanks for watching.

Kind of a blast from the past because I remember when this was posted on the original channel lol. Certainly a lot more confidence now than back then.
I remember your first vid on the degenerate Jay and its kinda crazy how far you came to now. Major props for evolving your style
Thank you! I've really tried to change up and make the videos much more entertaining as I've gotten older. It's definitely not as grainy at least!
Also yes i loved Riku in this one. The other thing i loved was the Fantasia world. I never expected it to get recognition in a KH title.

These blast from the past videos are fun to watch
The one thing I hated about KH Dream Drop Distance was that damn drop system, one of the worst features I've ever seen put in a game
They tried to combine the Winnie the Pooh minigame with the Gummi ship stuff and I'm not sure what they were going for.
We need the modern review now!

In my personal top 3. Loved every thing about it. Also the 3D effects on the 3DS were awesome. My prefered way to play it.
